Oh, the joys of youth. Energy, blind optimism, misplaced bravery... the usual. But not for Hollykit. Hollykit, alas, was none. She was a coward, a bit of a pessimist, and... who had the energy for anything anymore? Certainly not her, that was for sure. Hollykit sighed, watching all the hustle and bustle of the cozy nursery. Most kits seemed to be playing with friends. Friend... what a funny word. Cats that are thought to be kind towards you. Loving. Truthful. Hollykit scoffed. Yeah right. The young she-kit didn't much believe in friends. Hollykit lowered herself onto her side, gazing at all the cats around her. Queens and kits napping, playing, doing whatever their minds put them up to. What a waste of time. Hollykit just couldn't wait to become an apprentice, the first time she would finally be able to contribute to her beloved clan. Honestly, why not put kits to work? Hollykit would certainly have a blast.

Dewkit peeked out of the nursery at the light rain, flicking an ear as a drop landed on it. "Hmm," they hummed. Perhaps they should stay in the nursery. The cold rain did not look fun. The kit stayed by the entrance for a moment longer before turning tail and surveying the nursery. The clouds up above had dampened their spirit. Maybe they could just talk to another cat instead. Besides, they were 5 moons now! Play was for little kits. Dewkit shifted uncomfortably. Sometimes. Not all the time. They still wanted to play sometimes.

Risingkit peered over the top of his nest, glancing silently at the other kit "are there ants in your nest?" he meowed with a blank face

Dewkit turned to look at Risingkit and scrunched up their face. Ew. Ants in their nest? "What do you mean?" they asked, confused. Did Risingkit think there were ants in there? The kit hoped not. Their pelt crawled with the thought of it. Something about the thought of a bunch of ants crawling around in their fur gave them the ick. How would a cat ever get all those bugs out?

"I do?" Dewkit asked in disbelief. They didn't think that they were itchy. The kit came closer to Risingkit. Despite being confused (and believing they were most definitely not itchy), they were intrigued by Risingkit. He seemed like he knew things. He had said they seemed itchy, after all.

The active kits were nothing short of chaos waiting to be unraveled. The young tuxedo looked at each kit as Fallownose addressed them, a smile spreading across his white fur. The next cat to be addressed was him, which was not a surprise. After battle training with the deputy, the two have developed a mutual bond and respect for each other.
"We can learn about... let's do ShadowClan!" he blinked. "I heard they've had quite the history with us."

He had never been to this place before, he hadn't been to most places in camp before, but apparently, you could learn things here. At least that was what Snakekit had heard. Well, that was rather perfect, actually. Usually, Snakekit wouldn't really do... much at all, but that was mostly because he didn't know what to do, now he had found something to do to advance on his journey to becoming a great warrior.
The lanky tom padded into the strange place and looked around a little. There were a few cats around, doing stuff, like playing and all that. But playing wasn't what Snakekit was here for... he was here for knowledge! And the opportunity quickly presented itself as Fallownose - that's him, right? called for two kits and two apprentices to learn about clan relations. Not something he was too interested in, but he would take what he could get for now, so clan relations it was, and so he started moving towards the deputy.
Littlekit was the first one to reach, and Snakekit wasn't too thrilled over her loudness, and- Did she just ask what clan relations meant? Would he be learning alongside idiots? Oh hopefully not. But the next one (an apprentice) was also loud. At least the other apprentice-sized cat seemed eager to learn, which Snakekit could always respect, and even lamented the fact that no one else wanted to lean. Now that was something for Snakekit to agree with. But wasn't there supposed to be one more of these cats? Apparently, they failed to show their face.
Snakekit had stopped a bit away from the group to make sure this would really be worth his time, and he supposed it would, so he joined them and went to stand beside. So Shadowclan was up first? Well, he didn't know much about any of the other clans, so that was fine. But he rolled his eyes at one of the apprentices. 'Why on earth would you ever want to learn about yucky ShadowClan?'"Don't be stupid." Snakekit replyed. "Knowledge is knowledge, you should be grateful for it, whatever kind it might be. Besides, Shadowclan probably thinks we're morans running after rabbits as we do."
The deputy would be lying if he said ShadowClan wasn't what he expected to talk about first. No, he would've been surprised if Badgerpaw asked about ThunderClan or RiverClan first. Violetpaw, unfortunately, didn't seem to understand the importance of learning about the Clans, though Snakekit did.
"Snakekit, though his words were blunt, is correct Violetpaw. Knowledge is extremely important, and one day it could even save your or a Clanmates life. Badgerpaw, you are correct when you say ShadowClan and WindClan have a history, and it isn't a pleasant one. It started back when Icestar was still ShadowClan's leader, and Twilightstar had had enough of her antics. After a Gathering, Twilightstar led WindClan to chase out ShadowClan and succeeded. Apparently, their barn also burned down and we were blamed for that, but we did not do it. After that, things were okay for a while until the current leader of ShadowClan came into power and decided she wanted revenge. Before I continue, does anyone know who the current ShadowClan leader is and how long she's been leader for?"

SugarPaw gulped and then composed herself. She sat up and looked at the deputy and said “I got stuck in a thorn bush and twolegs took me and made me stay there until I was healed but I found a way out and then I stepped on a thorn and hurt my paw!” She said and pinned her ears back.
Fallownose listened as Sugarpaw explained what happened, the slight tang of blood he could scent now explained. "You should know better than to leave camp alone for this very reason, Sugarpaw. I'm going to trust that this incident has made it clear why and that you won't do it again. Let's head back so Cowpaw can take a look at you."
[Done! Don't forget to submit a healing request for Sugarpaw]

It had been a while.
The moors were beautiful at night. The heather blowing back and forth to a light wind that whispered unspoken secrets in his ears, the soft pattering of paws that he couldn't quite decipher, and the scents of crowberry and yellow stars. The full moon reflected the large brown shape of a cat as he paced his way across the hills. The figure had already past the borders, and though he smelled of rogues and twolegs, he did not falter, any sign of exhilaration only growing stronger. This was wonderful. He was homefree at last, and finally, finally he would get to show that he had in fact grown. He was going to get back and he was going to be responsible. He was too old to stay an apprentice.
Beastpaw came to a stop as he crested the hill that led directly into camp and sat there for a moment, allowing the light rays of moonlight to sink down into his fur. He didn't want to just walk in, not if he'd be stopped by some stranger. Instead, sitting here he'd wait for Fallownose, or Mother or whoever else came by to check the fortification of camp at night. Stars, he was nervous. The moons spent stuck in cages and trapped onto the streets had exposed him to more than he was used to when he was back in the clans. Even in the tunnels, the outsiders he had met were nothing like the crew of cats he had encountered. It was going to be odd, readjusting to being around cats he knew and trusted. Odd, certainly, but it would be a welcome feeling.
He had already decided what he would say, the parts he would leave out and put in. He would tell the truth, leave out the unimportant bits, but not add anything. It was an adventure, a story to be told, and sometimes filler was a bit too boring to be included. Brown paws kneaded the grass uncertainly. This was his second time vanishing, and he had been gone a significantly longer time. He only hoped they still remembered him, he only hoped that he had been important enough for his family to not have had him replaced. He missed them, more than he would admit. Despite Leechpaw being far too grumpy, and Lionpaw sticking to their brother more, the grin that would split his face upon seeing them would be great. And Mother, so long as Mother was still there he would make her proud.
No matter how long it would take.
Fallownose wasn't able to sleep, so he stood and silently made his way out of the warriors' den. He fluffed his pelt up against the chill and gave a nod to the cat guarding camp before making his way outside. Before he could get far, a dark figure sitting on the hill caught his attention and his fur spiked in alarm. Fallownose paused, glancing around for anymore cats, but he could only see the figure sitting.
He cautiously made his way up to them, eyes adjusting to the dark and jaws opening to take in the scent of the stranger. It wasn't one he recognized, but an rogue sitting and just staring at camp would be odd. Fallownose paused a few fox-lengths away, his amber eyes narrowed as he looked the cat over before they lit up in recognition.
"Beastpaw? Is that you? You've been gone for quite a while."

"Twi-.. Twilight..star!", he choked out, hoping that the great leader, or perhaps any cat, would hear his call.
The sharp scent of twoleg caused Fallownose's fur to spike, and he turned from where he had been stalking a rabbit. The call of Twilightstar's name was even more alarming, was there a twoleg chasing someone?
As he hurried towards the call, he quickly discovered the scent and yowl had both come from Mushroompaw, and the deputy attempted to press close and wrap his tail around the apprentice to warm them up in the freezing temperatures. "Great StarClan, Mushroompaw! What happened to your eye?"

Fallownose trotted across the moor, his fur puffed to deflect the breeze. A faint scent of WindClan and dirt caught his nose, and he glanced to his right to see another wayward Clanmate walking through the territory.
"Lightpaw! Where have you been?" the slate-gray tom called as he changed his path to meet the apprentice.
