Twilightstar's ears remained flat against her head as Fallownose responded and led the former queen away. She sighed lightly to herself, blinked once, and then returned to business. Her ears returned to facing forward as she decided since it's become rather gloomy she might as well announce their losses. "If you haven't been made aware we laid two of our own to rest. Fireflymeadow passed away in a storm and Fireflame ended up dying from her wounds after a fight with some rogues." Both cats had kin and friends here and she was sure this was going to take quite a toll on them. But what was life without death?
"They both served WindClan well and I wish them good hunting and peaceful rest in Silverpelt." Death has become less of a... tragedy or perhaps finality would be a better word? Twilightstar has been blessed to see so many of her fallen clanmates be gifted with second chances but also stuck with the knowledge that so many did not return. Whether returned or not, she wished both clanmates well in StarClan. After a long moment of silence there, she continued speaking.
"Though this does not make up for our losses, I am happy to inform you that the rogues that were in our territory have been moved off and the Swooping Cliffs are safe to use again." Though delighted, Twilightstar's face remained stiffly cold, she was too busy dealing with inner turmoil to bother with false smiles. She had a bit more she wanted to say, but honestly, the leader wasn't in the greatest state so she chose to end the meeting here.
Wolfkit nodded very seriously at what Dustbunny said, walking over to one of the dirt piles. His golden eyes studied the pile as he thought out what he had to do.
Don't dig all willy-nilly as we don't want dirt everywhere. When scooping up the dirt out, make sure to keep the pile nice and compact so the dirt doesn't get eveywhere.
He nodded to himself before he started to try and scoop out the dirt. He couldn't grab much in his small paws but once it was settled on the side he patted it flat before scooping out some more dirt. He was super concentrated so much so that his tongue was sticking out as the scooped and patted.
Scoop and Pat, Scoop and Pat
It was strange being a mentor of sorts, Dustbunny's eyes zeroed in on Wolfkit as he immediately got to work on his hole. He seemed pretty serious which was nice, Dustbunny had kinda figured the kits would get bored fast and start fling mud at each other. As she watched him, she noticed that the kit didn't have very large paws, perhaps that would change as he grew but his paws weren't really fit for scooping out dirt. Still, she liked how concentrated he was, she could see kits getting bored of things like digging fast since it didn't have the same... excitement as hunting, fighting, and patrolling did. "Very good, Wolfkit, just be careful of how deep you dig." Dustbunny reminded with a note of pride in her mew.

Well, that was strange. It might be a good idea to make sure that the queens were at least speaking of the warrior code to the kits, regardless of rather they were their guardians or not. Littlekit would have ended up rather clueless if it wasn't being taught. She looked over to Moorkit at her next question.
"Well yes, kits, queens, and elders are to eat before the rest of the cats in the clan. Do either of you know why we do that?" Twilightstar asked them.
How troublesome, Batglare could barely hear anything over the squirming apprentice's cries. Even though they sounded pitiful, to Batglare it was more annoying. This kit was so starved for affection that she'd literally let her mother get away with murdering her. Her lack of concern for her own safety and health was aggravating. Batglare doubted immensely that Twistedpaw had no cats in this clan that actually cared for her, it was the fact that she was blind to the toxicity of the relationship she had with that she-devil that she couldn't grow or learn. The apprentice was doomed to repeat this vicious cycle of abuse if she didn't surround herself with the right cats, get the right help, and above all let go of the nonexistent bond she seemingly believed she had with her mother.
The huge warrior's tail lashed back and forth so sharply it could have cut through a tree. Even though he was beyond irked, it was very clear that Batglare didn't blame Twistedpaw for her... odd behavior. He was very gentle with the fangs that bit into her scruff, despite all her squirming, he made sure not to hurt her. He was glad she was small it made carrying her around that much easier, with no strain on his old shoulder injury. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately, Batglare was unable to hear Twilightstar's verdict for the former queen between all of Twistedpaw's babbling. The old tom was sure that he'd hear of it later.
As he made his way into Cowpaw's den, Batglare immediately walked over to the back of the den and set Twistedpaw down gingerly there. He took a paw step back from her and sat down, yellow-green eyes peering down at wordless. Batglare's face was stuck normally in one expression, grim, he had been pretty much born with an intimidating expression plaster on his face and his size and muscular build did not help him there in the slightest. His eyes seemed to be permanently glaring intensely hence how he earned the second half of his warrior name.
All in all, he looked scarier and far meaner than he was, something he often used to his advantage when it came to fights. He was good at that, fighting, his thick pelt hid the numerous scars he wore from his battles, thankfully. Batglare considered him good with a lot of things, but calming hysterical apprentices was not one of them. The only training he had with this was when Eldersky had been an apprentice and had gotten upset, making him search for her all over the territory until he located her still upset hiding in a bush. He had to sit there, quietly until she had calmed herself down enough to talk and then filled his fur with her tears and snot because she wanted a hug which he reluctantly allowed. No two apprentices were ever the same, but still, he sat quietly seemingly waiting.
He left enough room for Snowybreeze to see if the younger warrior wanted to try and talk to the nuisance. He kept his ears slightly angled towards the opening of the den, he believed Cowpaw had been at the meeting so he should be returning to the den soon. Batglare recalled the paw's scratches and leaned a tad bit closer to see if she'd shrink away or not. He wanted to at least clean them while they waited for Cowpaw to arrive, but the old cat also wasn't interested in imposing on her or stressing her out more than he was. Ugh, he hated being a mentor.

The dark bengal kit wanted to go and talk with Twilighty. He had taken the the digging class with Dustbunny and he LOVED it!! He wanted to become a tunneler just like Dustbunny! His tail flicked back and forth as he quickly ran into the den, chirping, his bright yellow eyes looking around for the leader, "Twilighty! I want to ask you something!"
Though he was looking where he was running and almost bumped into the leader, he chirped as he stumbled back, "I'm sorry Twilighty!"

Milkpaw (he/him) Creamy-white fluffy fur and green eyes. Chonky face!
❛ ━━━━━━・❪ ⚘ ❫ ・━━━━━━ ❜
Milkpaw's eyes opened instantly as he heard the sound of her mother coming out from the leader's mouth.
He shot out of the apprentices' den with tears streaming down his face, green eyes fixed on Twilightstar as she went on with the last speech for the fallen ones... "Firefly... meadow.." He cried out, his sight blurred by salty water.
Where were Leafpaw and Doepaw?! Right.. Doepaw disappeared... she left us. She left me.. just like Ashclaw. Was their mother watching them from Starclan now?
Milkpaw raised his gaze to the grey clouded sky above him. Everything seemed to have been canceled by... the void. Colorless, endless.
He felt despair envelope him, separating him from the rest of the clan and the world. "Dead... She's.." He sobbed weakly with his eyes closed tight, aware of the cats around him dissolving like mist as the meeting was dismissed.
A storm had taken their mother... Darkness had taken their father... Their siblings had abandoned him, too, and now only pain remained.
He stood still at the center of the clearing, ignoring the voice of the cats around him.
His muscles tense as tears kept running down, soaking his chest fur and the ground around his paws.
Suddenly, Windclan seemed no longer like the home he had always known.
Brightkit didn't care about the rest of the meeting. All she cared about was that Twistedpaw was OK. But suddenly, she did care about it. She heard a name, a name that she knew very well. Fireflame. The she-cat who had mothered Brightkit after Ashclaw had found her in the territory. The one who was always there for her. Fireflame was dead. No! She must have misheard that! Fireflame couldn't be dead! But she knew that she hadn't misheard. She knew that it was true.
Brightkit felt numbness spread through her body. Too much had happened in this meeting for the little she-cat. Too, too much. The tan-and-white kit crumpled to the ground. @~Silvershine~ for Fireflame

"Because..."Moorkit paused thinking as hard as she could, "...Is it because we're more younger than the rest of the cats and that we need more strength and the queens need it so they can feed the kits that are born and the elders need it because they're getting weaker..." Moorkit said answering Twilightstar question.
@Moonraven
Lynxyowl flattened her ears as she heard the name of the two lost cats. She mourned the losses, even though she didn’t know them very well. It was still two lives lost.

He shuddered and cast a peek at Twilightstar. He was frantically, childishly shaking his head. He quickly stood up, which caused his fur to brush up. He attempted to reflect on what the rogues had done in response to Twilightstar's query. His invisible brows were gently wrinkled as his thoughts turned to the memories he had stashed away in the depths of his memory. Before a lightbulb appeared to indicate that he understood it, an invisible typewriter sat idle. He replied to Twilightstar while clearing his throat and pursing his lips. "It seemed a little unusual, but then again, Windclan has had its share of strange problems. But they disappeared as soon as fast as rats. I have a sneaking suspicion, but ahh! I shouldn't be so cautious in this situation. Just let's hope they never return!" His short, bushy tail gave a sharp swerve as he purred.
As he was ready to leave Twilightstar's den, he quickly turned around and waved her off. "Also, call me if you need anything! I think I'm always happy to assist!" Stumpypoppy's bad memory made him anything but helpful. Twilightstar would of course turn to her clanmates for assistance when necessary, but he was currently too caught up in the groove to stop and consider. Rushing out of her den in a hurry, leaving Twilightstar alone. Let's just hope that the fluffy flame point doesn't do anything particularly funny. He stumbled just a kit-step from her den. Oh no. He sprang up on his paws and cast a dazzling blue gaze about. A gentle figure softly approaching entered the clearing.
