Blackfir let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding but, all in an instant, he went dizzy from the lack of intakes. The unrepressed smile felt heavy on his face as he returned Sparrowstar's curt nod. He rose to his paws, eager for Petal...Petalflight to meet his eyes so he could lead her out and show her around the camp. It'd been so long of him explaining things to her, he was eager to show her the setting for all of his stories.
The finality was apparent but otherwise nothing seemed to change. Petal...Petalflight, she reminded herself, rolling the new name over her tongue. She hadn't considered the oddity of the names in the clans, Blackfir seemed like he couldn't be anything other, but suddenly hearing her own name contorted to fit the clan ways, it felt odd. Petalflight. She wasn't upset, she couldn't say she felt any sort of way about it, a name was only a name and the only time she'd heard it used with any consistency was from Blackfir. What was in a name anyway? Clearly these clans put plenty of weight in them. She nodded her gratitude to the leader, now her leader she supposed, and turned to find Blackfir's eagerness radiating off of him. With a last glance back at Sparrowstar, Petalflight followed Blackfir's steps as he moved quickly away.

Honeykit could not help it. Could not refrain the whimper that bubbled up her throat and echoed in the nursery. And neither could she help the fact that her eyes began watering ever so slightly at the thought of failure. "I can do it, Acornkit! I can do it!" She exclaimed, probably pronouncing her denmate's name right for the first time.

New warriors were always an excellent addition to the clan, and Batblood called out their names as one was supposed to, before continuing to listen.
But there was more news, and the Keeper had to bite his tongue a little to keep his face completely straight. Copperfire had seemed like such a loyal cat, and able to avoid twolegs... And Thrushfur was supposed to replace him? His eyes narrowed but otherwise, he kept his mask. He had talked with Rainpaw about Thrushfur, and he wasn't a cat Batblood would have chosen for a deputy.
But he had sympathy for Sparrowstar's situation, and to be completely frank there were few cats in Thunderclan who seemed competent enough to be warriors, not to mention the second in command.
Acornkit walked in the Warriors den looking for Hailhawk. She was bored and wanted a warrior to mess around with. ¨Icy bird man? Where are youuuuu. ¨

[*]Sootsun suppressed a sneeze as her siblings tail accidentally brushed up against her snout. She knew it wasn't on purpose, but it made her blood boil. The black and white tuxedo she took a deep breath and plastered on her best 'so nice to see you' look. "No, not at all brother, it's been a bit hasn't it?" she meowed dryly. She flicked her tail impatiently, must the interaction go on? She had to admit, she had been ignoring Duckfluff lately, avoiding him. Their father would disapprove, she knew that, but her brother was not the first thing on her mind at the moment. In reality, he had never been the her top priority. Only when the pressure and shame radiating from the family finally pushed her towards him would she waste time with him. But letting that show was not an option, no matter how difficult a cat he was. "I'm doing wonderful, Duckfluff, and you?"

He couldn’t help a purr rising from his throat, even though he knew it would probably annoy his sister. Is she really doing wonderful? That’s well-wonderful! Even if he found Sootsun difficult, he still wanted her to be happy. He for one had been having a wonderful time too. What with Foxwillow recently having kits and all! The thought of being a father made him bubble with joy inside. Although a nagging feeling told him that something was off. Wasn’t it too soon? He shook the doubts away. He was sure that nothing in the world could steal his happiness now. Not even Sootsun. “You’re doing wonderful? That’s great! I’ve been doing good too. What exactly have you been up to, though?” Sure pressing might make her angry, but he was more than a little curious. What would make Sootsun of all cats feel so wonderful? He certainly had never made her feel that way.
Alderstep stared down at his nest, curling his lip with distaste. Oh, his nest was fine. He just wasn't in a good mood (for no reason at all, but did that really matter?) The tabby set to work tidying and fiddling with the bits of moss. His tail tip twitched irritably. Once the nest was just as neat as it always was, Alderstep curled up in it. He tried to get as close to the ground as possible and rested his eyes with a sigh.
