Not some stupid hide and seek. Alderstep hated that game. He was always too big of a kit to hide in the nursery, so he was always found first. He looked at the kit with some disgust. "You have to close your eyes," he reminded her. He planned on bowling the kit over and then running away once she closed her eyes. Alderstep was really sick of this flea-bitten crow-food kit.

She entered the medicine den, she already felt a warm sensation from even stepping a kit-step into here. Her eyes locked on the beauty of the den, even if the fragrance of herbs disturbed her sense of smell. It was quite nice. She remembered well when she came in here for the first time, well, when the medicine cat wasn't Sundust. With a flick of her tail, she simply roamed around for a bit. Until she realized the true reason she was in here, the tips of her ears heated up alongside her emotions. Scurrying over to find a spot somewhere to settle down. Well, if she truly did have another litter of kits. How happy would she be? Kits are always the biggest light in her world. Young cats were a change factor that even her emotions couldn't overcome. And she loved them, gravely.

Her green eyes laid themselves upon Sundust. Her voice only giving a small murmur. Placing her light silver paw on her stomach. She had the experience knowing this sensation she got from her insides. She already had a litter of kits before, and possibly would have another. But her first litter.. most of them were gone. Well her and Rainpaw haven't talked in ages.. and perhaps she was still mad at that little scrap. She gave an endearing smile, her eyes still locked onto her stomach. But they were family, and mostly the only family she could ever have that truly was born from her love and blood. And Quietpaw was also here, which would tremendously help in aiding Rainpaw and his problems. He loved his sisters since birth, basically attached to them like shrubs. But she didn't believe it was time to even talk yet, not now. She didn't know when she'd be able to even talk to her own son again. Time have been quiet, but perhaps this new litter of kits would bring her such joy. That even her smile would never stop spreading. "I came in here today to ask, if I may be having another litter of kits on the way? I've already experienced this feeling before. So I must be right? Right?

Alderstep reached forward and knocked the kit over with his paw, turning to hurry away. If there were any witnesses to that...well, it was just a game. He grinned to himself. Yeah, he was just playing a game with a kit. Besides, he hadn't been as rough as he would've liked to have been. It was more of a gentle push than a blow, as if he were trying to cheat at the game. Alderstep darted behind the warrior's den, unknowingly playing hide and seek anyways.

Acornkit flopped over with a squeak. Then she opened her eyes and realized what happened "CHEATERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She ran after Alderstep's scent.

Alderstep's eyes glinted with amusement as he heard the kit yell. He scanned the outside of the den for any openings, but there weren't any. Curse whatever cat did that. Or not. Alderstep didn't appreciate drafts in his den, so really he should be grateful. Either way, the cat was stuck where he had chosen to hide. He dreaded confronting the kit. She'd probably bite him. He should've chosen a better place to run.

Acornkit saw a small opening that if she held her breath she could sqeeze riiight behind alderstep. So she did that. "Hello Mr AngryCheater"

Well a good round of patrols for today made it feel like a fresh breeze. The air was breathable today with a hint of chilly molecules. His fur was feathery enough to keep him warm, but not enough for the frigid cold to dig into his bones. His paws lounged below the Thunderwillow, rallying the names in his mouth for patrols. "Thunderclan! Please gather around for patrols."

[ All patrols are due by February 2nd 11:59PM EST ]

If you wish for your character to be replaced, let me know within 3 days.

First he would start off with the border patrols, he never wanted Thunderclan to be slacking off with marking their borders. He wanted them to strong and sturdy.

"Gingerflight, [ @GingerFlight ] I would like for you to lead Feathernose [ @Rabbiteye ] and Rainpaw [ @SpiritedWarrior ] out towards the Thunderglade. Be sure to mark it nicely."

[ optional prompt: a strange flock of birds are flying all over the place, it's rare to see them in leafbare. Perhaps you could go for some site seeing? ]

"Softripple [ @BirdieChirp ] and Darkpetal, [ @Ashie da WindClanner ] head up to Herondive Hollow."

Hunting patrols were now going underway, goodness he doesn't remember the last time he ever went hunting. Perhaps his hunting could loosen up.

[ optional prompt: you use the two-leg bridge to hunt on the other side, but it seems like one of the planks broke off. Causing one of your patrol mates to almost fall deep into the water ]

"Berryclaw [ @Archbone ] and Squirreltail, [ @SqurrelTail ] go out and hunt at Wisteria Falls. We don't want our prey-pile to run out do we?"

[ optional prompt: one of your patrol members seem to have gotten bitten by a rat while hunting, can't believe they would appear in this kind of weather. ]

"Honeybee [ @lonely.lilyx ] and Duskhope [ @Cinderspirit ], I want you two to go ahead and hunt at the Mossy Den."

[ optional prompt: the creek seems to be carrying sheets of ice down the river, and one hits a rock. Causing the ice sheet to break apart and somehow fly off the riverbed. ]

"And lastly, Darkpaw. [ @celeste ] You'll be joining me in hunting at Sunkissed Creek."

Great cats, this kit was impossible. "Get out of the den," Alderstep hissed, doing his best to herd her out as he left. "Don't you have parents to bother?" he asked angrily. Fun was fun (hah, no, he was not having fun) but he was tired of these kit-ish antics and had better things to do. He wound his tail around his back leg, trying to block off the cold. He hadn't noticed it much before, likely because he was busy getting attacked, but now he felt it. Hopefully, this kit would get cold soon and go back to the nursery where she belonged.
