Question if im joining with a cat sould i have to start with a starter post to have her greet the leader?

Sootfur peeked inside the leader's den with excitement. Finally, I have good news to share!
The sight of the familiar tan and brown pelt of Sparrowstar encouraged the young warrior to go ahead, dipping his head before speaking. "Sparrowstar, I bring news. About that kit that Flameheart and I brought back from... from that day, when Flameheart's brother died."His name was Jack... Stars, that was a terrible experience for all the three of us.
"And, well... he seems to be recovering well, although his spirit might be a bit... broken."And I wouldn't expect otherwise from such a terrible experience. Poor kit. I still don't know his name... "I've just found out that he still has family. A father, that looks like a past Thunderclanner. His name is Beastwatcher." He couldn't wait to go and tell his mate about it. She would be so happy to know that someone close to the kit was still alive! ...Right?
He took a deep breath before continuing. "But, well... I couldn't find him in Thunderclan. The kit, I think he said that he's gone from some time. He also mentioned a brother, Spider-something. I'm not sure of his full name. He seemed to have trouble remembering details." Hopefully, the leader knew more about what had happened to the kit's family and help him reconnect the family back together. Well, assuming they were all Thunderclan's.
Before Sparrowstar could reply, another detail made its way to his mind. "Oh, and.. he mentioned an Aspen-, but I'm not sure what he meant. He was still... pretty shocked."
"orange... flame... blood..." he shivered and drew back into the nest the best he could without moving his leg to much... family? they were looking for family?... his family?.... .... ... ... "...." the kit tilted his head "..... Beast... pa... gone..." he squeaked slowly, his yellow and brown eyes flickering in a bit of confusion... "ma.... dis... appear... ed..." he closed his eyes and thought back... "only... Spider... left... big... brother..."
Sootfur nodded encouragingly as the kit made evident efforts to bring back to memory details of his past life. Had the traumatic event left some scars in his mind? Luckily, he was able to mention a few important hints about his family members.
His hopes revived a little bit when he mentioned of one remaining family member. Spider...? Was there a Spider- in Thunderclan? Stars, we are so many.
Sootfur was pretty sure that the kit wouldn't be able to take out even more information than those he'd already give, so he decided to let him sleep for a bit, if he needed it. "Oh, Spider, you say..? Well... we will make everything we can to find him and bring him to you, alright?" He offered him a comforting smile and headed out of the medicine cat's den, before remembering one last detail.
"Oh, wait..." He turned once again and glanced at the kit. "Can you tell me your name? So, you know... Sundust and I can call you with your own way, instead of just "kit"."
"Hmmmm, We could...We should ask if we could go outside! Just a little bit?" She chirped, she'd always wondered what outside camp looked like
Tidekit’s ears pricked up at the question. “That sounds like a great idea! Do you think a Warrior would take us?” Most kits never got to go outside camp, how cool would it be if they got to? Just outside the clearing would be good enough for her!

Tidekit nodded in agreement. “I’m four moons! Almost an apprentice! Who should we ask?” She began looking around for a warrior who looked like they might accompany two kits outside of camp.
