It felt so wrong, the tiny body hanging limp in their jaws. But it was the easiest way to bring her back to camp. Brightdawn wanted to cry, or throw up, but they did neither. They needed to stay calm or as close as they could manage. At last they reached the clearing, they laid the ginger body down gently, before stepping in front of it, hoping to block the view form any kits that may be out and about.
"Queens please bring the kits into the nursery." Despite their attempts to keep calm for the young one's sake, their voice still wavered. Pleading eyes looked to meet anyone else's, they weren't sure what to do now. They knew they should call forth Squirrelkit's parents, but their names evaded them. INstead they just stood their frozen, quivering as silent sobs racked their body. Somebody help, please.
"Then by the powers vested in me, I give you your warrior name. Badgerpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Badgerfoot. We honor your persistence and intelligence, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan." Twilightstar gave a low bow of her head towards the new warrior and then turned her gaze to Berrypaw.
"Then by the powers vested in me, I give you your warrior name. Berrypaw, from this moment on you will be known as Berryfrost. We honor your dedication and kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan." Twilightstar mimics the same respectful head bow with Berryfrost as she did with Badgerfoot. Honoring the two new warriors, however, before her clan could start calling out their names, her tail shot up high above her head for silence.
"Alongside our two new warriors, Cowpaw has also been granted his full name by StarClan, Cowtuft." Twilightstar fell silent with that announcement, she allow her clanmates to congratulate or speak with the new warriors and medicine cat, hopefully, the remainder of how beloved he was to the clan will ease some of Cowtuft's anxiety.
The matriarch waited for a long moment, once every cat had settled again she began calling out for reassignment. "Beastpaw, Violetpaw, Lightpaw, and Robinpaw. It's time for you to meet your new mentors."
"Lynxyowl [Runningintheheather] , your apprentice is Beastpaw[Pheasantflight]. He's recently returned from being missing so try not to let him stray unsupervised." Beastpaw was the only one of her kits within the clan that had yet to receive his warrior name. Dreamlight, Leechscar, and Badgerfoot were all warriors. The leader should probably see if she could get them all together later. She wanted the three littermates to get along with their adopted siblings, and she was curious to hear about where Beastpaw has been.
"Sheepgrowl [x ghostie ], I'd want you to take care of Robinpaw's [ naiad ] training."
"Halffur [azu-azulu], you'll be training Lightpaw [Silverfur & Co] from now on."
"Violetpaw [ ~FawnSpirit~ ], your new mentor is Aspenflame [ Pluto! ]." The WindClan leader, though not pleased with having to do reassignment, was happy to see that she only had a select few to reassign this moon. With the number of apprentices that WindClan had, reassigning four wasn't bad.
Moorpaw purred upon hearing Cowpaw had become Cowtuft. Good for him, she'd heard so much about the good he'd done for WindClan and she personally thought he was a great cat from her brief interaction with him. He'd been so kind, and patient with her and her silly not knowing that living cats had to eat to stay alive.....
She proudly cheered his name, the traditional three times. "Cowtuft! Cowtuft! Cowtuft!"
She was.... a bit quieter with Berryfrost and Badgerfoot's promotions. She didn't know either of them well outside of their names. She was still happy and excited for them. Badgerfoot! Berryfrost!"
She only managed to call Badgerfoot one more time and half of Berryfrost before being overcome by a coughing fit. She used her leg to try to cover the phlegmy cough.
She groaned internally, even after she'd finished coughing. She didn't want to be sick.... she'd just gotten over her non-sickness. Sighing, she closed her eyes, listening to the apprentice reassignment and letting her mind wander.

Heart drumming as if he had just run throughout the entirety of the moors for a quarter moon without rest, the massive warrior kept his eyes on Breezerock, his chest puffing up with pride for his former denmates. The felines he'd been apprenticed with, finally receiving their warrior names. Berrypaw and Badgerpaw, apprentices no more, for they were now Berryfrost and Badgerfoot! A purr of happiness escaped at his friend's new name, and his gaze instantly landed on her former mentor, her large form and cream pelt easy to find. Peachfrost must be so proud... to have had Berrypaw... no, Berryfrost named after her! He could not see her expression from where he sat, but he was certain the stoic, strong warrior was no doubt beaming with pride at the now berry coolest warrior of them all! Another small purr escaped him at this thought, realizing that he had always been right. She really did get a Berrycool name after all. He might just have to tease her for that. Later. Fair was fair. She did call him Snowynose just before.
Opening his maw to call out to and celebrate the two new warriors, his voice died down in his throat with a tiny eep. Evidently, the leader was not done, a wave of her lilac tail demanding attention at once. Frowning mildly in concern as the leader stopped the usual cheering before it began, the patched warrior's mouth soon dropped its grimace, forming a silent oh in its stead. Cowpaw had received his name as well?! Why, that was even more cause for celebration, as far as the young warrior was concerned!
"Berryfrost! Badgerfoot! Cowtuft! Berryfrost! Badgerfoot! Cowtuft! Berryfrost! Badgerfoot! Cowtuft!" the normally quiet tom belted out, louder than he'd ever dared. His paws stomped happily on the ground, their massive size creating a sporadic beating on the ground as he did, his blue eyes shining as he beamed at them all in turn, struggling to not rush forward and squeeze the newly named felines in a big, Deadmoon worthy hug.
Unfortunately for the tom, his giddiness exceeded his shyness, and before he could think much upon it, he felt his paws propelling him forward, rushing towards the two new warriors. Massive form looming behind Badgerfoot and Berryfrost, the tom attempted to wrap his paws around them and pull them towards him in a congratulatory hug, swiping an affectionate lick on each of their heads in turn. He would turn to Cowtuft later and give him some much needed congratulations later as well! While he would never claim to be close to the medicine cat, it would be rude not to give at the very least a properly respectful nod.
Speaking of rude... Eep! While Snowybreeze was certain Berryfrost would not mind his affectionate congratulations, he could not be as certain for Badgerfoot! The black and white tom might very well not see him in the same light as Snowybreeze saw him, as one of the three. The three apprentices who had not only started their training together, but finished it! A rarity in WindClan! An apologetic look soon crossed his eyes, however, knowing he must have stepped over a line. Letting go of the both of them, the tom dipped his head in a more respectful, appropriate manner.
Bunnypaw wasn’t sure what had come over her. It’s like the impulse hit and she just… did it. And that was wrong of her. She felt her face heat up with shame. “I’m sorry, Snowypaw. That was wrong of me.” She pressed herself into a crouch near his feet, ears pressed flat against her head as she whimpered out her apology. “Could you please forgive me? I don’t even know why I did that…” Bunnypaw was just playful, but sometimes her playfulness bothered others and she needed to learn when not to cross those lines.

Cowpaw trailed after Ashclaw and Ashpaw, his feathery tail swishing solemnly back and forth. His eyes filled with a sadness. He wasn't sure where Twilightstar or Fallownose was - perhaps out of camp, he.. did not know if he was doing this correctly. As the group arrived at Juniper's rest, his mismatched gaze shifted across the burial grounds. So many of their clanmates laid under their paws.
The medicine cat took a step forward, catching onto a beautiful corner where they could put Fireflame to rest. The snow was beginning to melt away and he could see a few flowers poking through, it put a smile on his face. Cowpaw stepped forward, beginning to push the snow away until he was met with soil. Muscles bunching under his pelt, he pushed his large paws into the soil and begun to scoop the dirt out and form a pile.
He would continue until it was deep enough to hold Fireflame's body.
Stepping away, he looked back towards the three cats, giving a slight nod of his head. "Shall.. we say a few things to honor her memory..?" He suggested gently with signs.

Juniperhaze's paws landed on solid ground again, eyes wide with cat-zoomie-wildness and fur standing on cat-zoomie-end. His claws kneaded the grass a moment as a snort of compressed laughter escaped through his nose.
Three seconds. El-oh-el. He didn't need that long.
He lifted his paw and aimed a swift WHAP at Creepercall's nose before spinning around and bolting in the opposite direction.
Creepercall hissed in frustration, rubbing a paw over her nose with a look of indignation. She took off after Juniperhaze, fur bristling in annoyance at her brother. "Juniperhaze! Get your tail back here, you-" She cut herself off with a snarl. What was she thinking, yelling across the camp. With a twitch of her whiskers, she realized Juniperhaze was closer to her than he had been before. She grinned, pouncing towards him, ready to tackle her brother to the ground and show him who the real superior sibling was.
