Sootfur left the warrior's den with a tired gaze, searching for Sundust in the clearing. There he is. His eyes lit up a little bit when he mentioned a trip to Wisteria Falls to gather cobwebs and poppy seeds. The cold weather still bit at his skin and seeped under his pelt, but a good, relaxing morningly walk would do him good. It might be a chance for him to distract himself more than staying in the bed, ruminating on dark thoughts of past events.
"Yes, Sundust."I hope the snow has left some of them. But they should be clearly visible now that everything's covered in frost.
He turned to Batblood, a warrior he knew has been a Keeper in Thunderclan from some time, and waved his tail at him in a friendly greeting. "Greetings. I'm Sootfur." He introduced him briefly and waited for the dark bengal tom to give the signal to leave. He didn't make to do any preparations himself; he'd had a small meal after dawn and was now looking forward to warm himself up a little bit with some movement.
Drippingleaf pricked her ears as Sundust called her name for an herb patrol. She immediately shot to her paws and trotted over, eager to get her paws dirty in the search for these… yellowbells. The pretty molly gave the medicine cat a curt nod and waited impatiently for Pinefuzz.

Pebblekit hopped into the safest place he ever knew, the nursery. Excitement lingered in the air, all kits, old and young, bouncing around like rabbits. His eyes were darting around the nursery, trying to find his mother. And when he did spot her, he ran so fast, it seemed like he he flew. "Frostfeather!", he howled as if he'd not seen his mother for moons. He dashed towards her, almost crashing into her. "You won't believe what I did in the kit corner! I met so many new warriors, like Sootfur, Blackfir, Bumblebreak and-", he ran out of breath trying to say it all at once. He then shifted a little closer to Frostfeather, "I did miss you a lot, though", he admitted.
Soft white clouds danced across the late morning skies, distant falls from birds could be heard throughout the territories. The young molly had finished a little hunting patrol with some close friends before she decided to wait the day out. Having been given an apprentice so many moons ago it had nearly felt like an eternity when she got him. It had gone well she suppose, having been an apprentice not so long beforehand.
When the chatter of the tragic accident towards her apprentice parents she had begun to notice his lack of willingness. The refusal to leave his nest, to even eat and drink water was evident. It had made her heart hurt for the young apprentice, she could all but imagine how the tom was, the thoughts that could be holding him captive.
Koiblossom did what she could to give him space, to let him mourn and process what he had witness. Doing what she could to ensure he at least go some sort of substances she spent a lot of her time waiting by for the tom to leave his den, for when he was ready to continue his training. So when she saw him stumble out she perked up from her spot besides the warrior den.
Pushing herself up she padded towards them a gentle smile dusted her maw. "Shrikepaw! It's lovely to see you again, how are you feeling dear? Do you need anything to eat?" She asked softly a tilt to her head as she studied the feline. Relief pouted throughout her body, finally the apprentice was out and about.
Shrikepaw took a moment to process his mentor's words, blinking at her tiredly. Why did the sun hate him so much? "Uhhh..." When he spoke, his voice was hoarse and tired. "Nah. I just wanted to get out and, you know, actually contribute to the clan instead of lazing around all day." He let out a hollow laugh, attempting to show Koiblossom that he was all good to go now.
"What are we gonna do first? I know that I'm a bit behind." 'A bit behind.' Understatement of the year, Shrike thought bitterly. He may as well still be a kit for all he knew about apprentice duties and skills. He mentally kicked himself back to focusing on Koiblossom. He could not fail this. He failed his mother, but he would not fail his mentor, and by extension his clan.
Treekit was a little taken aback by the shyness of her partner. Hopefully by the time the lesson was over with, they'd warm up a little to her. She'd feel like a bad clanmate if they didn't.
The tabby kitten sat next to her partner then looked towards Sundust for the next activity. She was anxious to get started, this was her first step to being apart of the clan since being adopted.
Stormkit || He/him
Stormkit was almost the age of an apprentice at this time, he seemed big among the other kits. He welt awkward but ignored it.

"I missed you too hon, your growing up way to fast!" Frostfeather chimed, noticing her sons messy pelt "What did you do? Fight a squirrel?" She joked, lowering her head to clean him
Batblood
@Wingnettle
[OK so Im going on camp 17-25th so I will be posting from my phone and not as frequently. I figured I probably could complete this patrol, but the posts will be shorter than this one]
Muscles moved under sleek black fur as the Keeper stretched, but as he flexed them he noticed that they had shrunk slightly. Not alarmingly - he would have taken actions before if that was the case - but it did bother him a little that he hadn't had the time or need to use them in a while. Batblood was never one to wish for needless fighting or battles, and he had criticized those who had, but as he padded outside, the dark-furred tomcat made a mental note to take up sparring and training again. He had been very active with that in his early warriorhood since he had been made a warrior before his training was actually completed, so he had wanted to make sure he was on the same level or higher as everyone else. But as he had gotten on par with other warriors and gotten busier with his work as a Keeper, he had also gotten less time for his own training.
Perhaps, while training Vixenpaw, he could brush up on his skills a little bit.
Anyway.
The Keeper trotted over to Sundust as his name was called for (his first) herb patrol. Cobwebs didn't sound too hard, but he had never been shown poppy seeds, so he would have to watch what kinds Sootfur picked.
Speaking of the warrior, he introduced himself, but Batblood already knew the name and simply gave a curt nod before heading for the forest.
As she watched the kits in front of her absorb her the knowledge she gave them, Cinderpaw could feel a crushing weight slowly but surely lifting from her shoulders. This was hard, but it was fun for them. They were even asking questions! They were learning how to keep themselves safe when others wouldn't.
For a moment, she considered Fuzzkit's question, eyes flickering strangely over the mottled kit. "I mean... y-you can. But it won't stop them from seeing where you are, and it isn't somewhere that will hurt them enough to get them off of you. It's not safe for you right now. Once you're a-a-an apprentice, though, you can bite as many noses you want." She promised to him. He had the spirit of a fighter, she could tell already, so outright telling him no probably wouldn't go over well.
Now, it was onto the final phase of their lesson. Cinderpaw stepped back, making her way to the entrance of the kit corner. "After this, you'll all have passed this class. But before that, I wanna test what you'd all do in actual danger." She challenged, crouching down mock-menacingly to block their exit. "I am a Shadowclan warrior who wants to hurt you. You should never stay and fight when there's a-a way out, but I'm cornerin' you. Don't use claws, but I want you try and get past me. Use the th-th-things I taught you."
Slowly but surely, the apprentice crept ahead while baring her teeth, raising a sheathed paw in anticipation of batting at the kits -- she'd never actually hit them, no, but she needed to test what they'd do in a real situation. The chance of them meeting someone who wanted to kill them was terrifyingly enough not zero.
