Hugo gasped, and looked around quickly. He tried and failed to spread his wings, and then clutched his arm in pain. It had started glowing brighter again.

Hugo glanced from his arm, to the other demon, and then hid his arm behind his back.

Hugo yelped, and with his glowing arm, punched the demon away. He looked surprised at himself.

*The black snout showing out of the cloud of shadows smiled, revealing razor-sharp, glistening white teeth and a forked black tongue that flickered in and out of the teeth*
