Hunter felt a warm feeling inside him. Grasshopper likes me... Grasshopper likes me! He smiled as he got up. He curled his tail with Grasshopper and led him back to camp. When they entered, he called out for his sister and mother. "Grasshopper is back!" he called out. As his sister welcomed grasshopper back, he felt complete. His friend likes him, and he's back. He froze in his tracks as his sister asked the question. "Well- uh-i-uh..."

The lioness laid there, but was startled to see Hunter come inside with another lion. And it looked like - "Grasshopper is back!" It was Grasshopper. She leaped down and padded over to the two male lions. When she got there, she saw their tails intwined. What the...? "Good to see you Grasshopper!" she purred. "But, may I ask? Why are your tails intwined?" She said, glancing at their tails.

Grasshopper purred in delight as he recognized Thunder'Mane. The lioness was a very good friend of his. Then came the question, which hit a bit hard. "I was a bit wobbly on my feet. I've been a bit weak since I've mostly been traveling and looking for water and food." He quickly awnsered. Although the last part was true. Right now he wanted to curl up under the warm sun and relax after the long journey.

The lioness nodded and pointed her tail to the submale den. "You can have your old rank as submale, if you want. We have fresh moss in there, and I'll send our Medic to check on you shortly." She stated before leaping back on the rock.

The lion sighed as Thunder'Mane dissmissed them. He led Grasshopper over to the submale den, where there was a big nest made with fresh materials "You can go ahead and lay down" He whispered, and let go of Grasshopper's tail. When Grasshopper laid down, he squirmed beneath him and was able to lay next to him. "I'm glad you felt the same way about me, I was afraid you were going to hate me" he sighed.
