"But it did, because you did." Whatever she was spewing now made no sense in the face of the truth; Silvershadow had, indeed, left. Mirehound studied her with sharp blue eyes before continuing along the territory, rolling her eyes as her former Clanmate spoke of how she was "welcomed back" and then about starting over outside of ShadowClan. She was getting tired of her Clanmates acting as if they were being forced to be here, when Dawnstar, for all her other faults, had made it perfectly clear that if they wished to leave they did not have to stay. "Then do that. If your heart is not fully with your Clan, then I see no reason why you should continue to call it your home."
After a bit of walking, they had finally reached the outskirts and Mirehound stopped. She turned to look at Silvershadow, something unknown flashing through her eyes. She briefly wondered if the she-cat really would start over outside of ShadowClan, and if so what it would look like. But the shadow spoke no other words other than giving a lash of her tail towards the outskirts, indicating for the warrior to go.

she gave Mirehound a graceful dip of her head,
"Thank you for the escort, but i will be waiting here for Dawnstar's final decision, if you wish to go back, you can, I do believe I can take care of myself for a few hours." she paused "And I don't believe me leaving in the first place was smart."

The warrior marched forward through the forest, stopping only when they were close to the Thunderclan part of their border to scent the air for danger. He also wanted to make sure that Rosepaw was with him and not feeling tired as well. "Alright listen up, he said as if he were about to give his apprentice a mission, "we're about to be at the Thunderclan border. I need to know if you'll have enough stamina to book it back to camp if something goes wrong. The reason I'm asking is because we currently have some beef with the squirrels and in the past they've crossed the borders just to attack cats from our clan."

Okay, well that was relieving to hear. Picking the pace back up, Shadefrost continued ahead a little more, lead his apprentice over a mound of earth then stopped yet again. "Just to be safe, though" he said with caution "we'll take a look at the border from here." The blue-eyed tom pointed with his tail towards a specific cluster of trees, "that's the border right over there."

As much as Mirehound didn't want to leave the former Clanmate alone, she had a feeling that Silvershadow actually meant it when she said she would be waiting for Dawnstar. Silence was prolonged between them before the shadow finally let out a rush of air from her nose, whiskers twitching in amusement. "I don't doubt you can, if you survived five whole moons on your own."
With one last thoughtful blue gaze, the Enforcer waited until Silvershadow was across the outskirts border before turning and making her way back towards camp.

Silvershadow
She watched as Mirehound walked away and sat down picking twigs out of her fur

Darkcloud narrowed her eyes at the queen for a moment she considered saying no but then thought about the rewards of helping the queen so the dark she-cat just nodded and rose to her paws.
**Sunsetthorn**
A small pang of relief flushed through her after a tense heartbeat awaiting the warrior's answer, but the nod came and a renewed sense of hope found Sunsetthorn. She'd have the chance to find Branchfire and Hazelkit, and she couldn't imagine failing. Failing to find them would mean being without them, it'd mean her kit was out there all alone and her mate...what could keep a warrior out of camp and away from his beloved family unless it was truly terrible. No, her mind would not conjure such thoughts, it couldn't happen to her...But then, if it could happen to anybody surely it'd happen to her. She'd lost her mother in the most gruesome fashion, her sisters were everywhere and nowhere, and her father had to be the most uncaring, callous parent in the clans yet still respected so highly he was given the honor of healing his clan. She pushed away the warring nihilism and optimism and set out straight for the camp entrance.
It'd been moons since she'd been out in the territory. She used to love coming out here with Branchfire, the days they'd spend training so she could relearn how to fight and hunt with her lost depth perception of her missing eye. But her kits had consumed her entirely the past six moons so she hadn't had too many opportunities for leisure or warrior-type duties. And she figured it'd be longer still. Only adding to her concerns, she'd felt the stirring, the light nausea that very morning, and now the sluggishness that she was sure would turn to a burst of energy in a few weeks until the weight in her belly grew heavier and dragged her back into sluggishness again. Continuing Branchfire's family should be joyous but it was overshadowed painfully; how could she possibly be having another kit so soon while her older kit was missing and then the panic of having to do this all alone. She wasn't sure she could cope with both the loss of Branchfire and the raising of another litter. She shook her head, moving over the still-familiar pine needle floor. She hadn't lost Branchfire, there was no use thinking such thoughts. She parted her lips to try picking up her family's scent as she continued moving in fairly unorganized zigzags across the territory. She had no idea where to start or where to go but she knew she had to do something. "I don't know what could've happened but both Branchfire and Hazelkit haven't been seen in a few days. If they're out here somewhere, we have to find them."

Darkcloud padded silently behind the queen, the only reason she was helping her was because Sunsetthorn would be in her debut but she wouldn't tell the golden she-cat that yet but would remind her when the time was right.
