Shadefrost looked up thoughtfully, racking through his mind for anyone he'd met in the pass. "Well, I know Cinderpaw somewhat," said the warrior a bit angrily, "She's Thunderclan's medicine apprentice, though were not friends and I've given myself an on sight order for the next time I see her outside of a gathering. But other than her I don't know anyone else.

Addersnow | she/her | @Poprock bear with me it might be a bit clunky, i havent rped pere in so long lmaooo
Despite rejoining the clan, Addersnow still didn't fully consider herself a member of ShadowClan. Not because she felt she didn't deserve to, not at all. She just didn't feel attached to the cats in the clan, and most of the members who she had known have since died or gone missing. It was like a whole knew crowd of cats.
As such, she spent most of her time out of camp keeping an eye on the borders or hunting. Hell, most nights she didn't even sleep in the warriors den. She never did get used to sleeping in an enclosed space with so many cats, and surely Dawnstar wouldn't have an issue with her sleeping elsewhere. Not that really really cared about what and wasnt allowed, though - all she had to do was play along.
It was about sunhigh when the tortoiseshell slunk out of camp again, waving her tail to a random warrior in a silent invitation for them to join her. She sure as hell wasn't happy about doing it, but apparently there was some new rule about always leaving camp in groups of two or more. A stupid rule if you asked her - she could more than hold her own, after all - but because of her presumably shaky status in the clan having just rejoined, she supposed it was an annoyance she would have to deal with. Maybe she could just ditch this cat somewhere.
It was odd to see Addersnow again after so long. It had been moons since the warrior was last in Shadowclan, so long that Grapevine had been a young apprentice when she left. And yet here she was, being beckoned out with nothing more than a wave of her tail that she would be a fool to ignore. Addersnow had to many answers to questions that Grapevine thought were unanswerable. So off they went.
It was quiet for a long moment before she finally worked up the courage to speak. "You've been gone for a while." She meowed, side stepping a low hanging branch. "Where did you go?" A bold question to ask someone you barely knew, but Grapevine didn't care. Interest in the older molly had been steadily rising since her sudden return to Shadowclan. She hadn't seemed to return for friends or family, nor for a loyalty to Dawnstar or the clan in general. In fact, Grapevine hadn't seen the Addersnow in the warrior's den at all. She was an anomaly in a clan that seemed to thrive on fitting in and following orders. That was something the lilac warrior could not ignore. Not when she struggled with her own loyalty.
Darkcloud padded silently behind the queen, the only reason she was helping her was because Sunsetthorn would be in her debut but she wouldn't tell the golden she-cat that yet but would remind her when the time was right.
**Sunsetthorn**
She didn't trust the cat walking behind her, but her concerns were more focused on finding her mate and kit. It was growing increasingly easy to become disheartened as the territory revealed no secrets...until... Her heart skipped slightly as she picked up what had to be Bracnhfire's scent. Sunsetthorn redirected her zigzagging pattern to follow the scent trail straight. It was heading away from camp an it wasn't as fresh as she'd hoped to find it but it was something. Suddenly, she realized it was gone. Backtracking with her nose to the ground, she desperately tried to pick it up again. It seemed the scent was fading even as she stood above it and when she got back to a spot she could find the scent, it didn't seem to branch off in any direction, it just...ended. She began circling in ever widening arches around the point the scent had been lost, trying to pick it up again somewhere, growing more and more frantic. She had been that close, she couldn't lose it now. It wasn't fair, how could she find a clue and it lead to nothing? It didn't make any sense, no, it couldn't be that way. Her hopes were lifted but she felt them slowly crashing to a new low as her search moved out further and further from her lost point. The sun was shifting in the sky as she continued her desperate search in the surrounding area to pick up any more clues. Darkcloud forgotten, Sunsetthorn lifted her head and screeched her frustration to the towering pine trees. Branchfire was gone and she'd let herself hope that, with this scent, she'd happen upon him. Her mind flashed abck to when she'd been stuck in that pit for days on end, right here in Shadowclan territory, to be found by Elmshadow. While she'd been happy for the discovery, it was something she'd never wanted her father to walk in on and see the mess she'd gotten herself into. She'd let herself hope she'd find Branchfire in a similar manner. But if he was stuck as she'd been, she couldn't give up her search, time passing could mean life or death if her mate was stuck in a similar situation as she was. But then, the search could all be in vain if...Sunsetthorn wouldn't let her mind go there. She parted her lips and kept searching.

She didn't bother looking back to keep her eye on Darkcloud for if the warrior was keeping up with her or not. At this point, she only cared about finding her mate and kit. She was growing desperate because she felt her hope slipping away. The scent of Thunderclan was growing, subconsciously she knew this would only reduce the odds of her picking up any faint scents of her mate or kit but she kept pushing forward. Until the Thunderclan scent became so strong she had to break herself from her concentration and look up. A flash of orange, white and black caught her eye across the border. Her hackles rose slightly. She was still on her own side of the border so she should be fine but she was also aware that she didn't know where Darkcloud was anymore and she couldn't be sure the cat she just saw was alone. She watched the calico movements until they stopped and green eyes bore into her from over the border. Sunsetthorn faltered, a flash of disgust flowing through her then her heart stopped. Those are Elmshadow's eyes... But Elmshadow was not calico nor would he reasonably be in Thunderclan territory. She willed herself to look deeper through the shadows as the cat lingered, staring directly into her, but she no longer cared that she had been seen or whether the other cat was part of a patrol or not. The swirl of orange and black set over white splotches, it was all becoming familiar but Sunsetthorn stuffed down the growing hope. It couldn't be... It'd been at least nine moons since she'd last seen her sister, she'd been only a kit then. Could that mean Chamomilepaw had stayed with her, and Loonfeather? Her family... She took a step, growing more and more sure wit every passing heartbeat that that was her sister, her Petalkit. Her heart swelled and she took another step, opening her mouth to say something, but then the cat across the border turned and fled, running deeper into Thunderclan territory. Her first instinct was fear. Did her sister know she was running deeper directly into enemy territory? She'd been an outsider when Sunsetthorn had left them. Thunderclan wouldn't hesitate to kill an outsider that was running into their territory. "Wait!" But it was too late, the she-cat was long gone. Sunsetthorn had a thought to run into Thunderclan territory but she had her own kit back in the clan now that she couldn't jeopardize her safety nor her place in the clan should Dawnstar find out she trespassed onto Thunderclan's territory over an outsider. She realized she was panting though she had hardly exerted herself physically. Her mind reeling, she made the decision that she'd better just return to camp. She wasn't going to be able to focus on anything from the swirling emotions and thoughts waring inside her head. She satisfied herself with the thought that maybe Branchfire and Hazelkit were back in camp already anyway.

HOLLOWFROST
silver freckled she-cat; half-blind, one blue eye. she/her
She didn't feel very good.
Her chest hurt. It was hard to breathe. Why couldn't she breathe.
Hollowfrost coughed, ragged wheezes wracking her entire body. Dammit, it hurt so bad. Argh. It was awful.
As she walked further into the territory, her legs finally gave out and she collapsed, unable to move. It was as though her body didn't want to listen to her. She could only cough and wheeze, her chest constricting more and more. It felt as though something were crushing her. She tried to call out for help, but no sound came out. She was too weak to talk.

Before she knew it, her vison faded to black.
Deadfeather of Shadowclan
Deadfeather was watching their apprentice, Eveningpaw, hunt when they heard coughing, then a thud. Then more coughing, carefully padding over the investigate, they saw the body of a silver molly. The scent of Shadowclan was stuck to the fur of the molly. Padding over to see their eyes, they were glazed over in something all too familiar, death. One was blue and the other blind. Was this... hollowfrost? "Hollowfrost. Dawnstar will not be happy. " grabbing the scruff of the Deceased cat, they began to drag them back to camp.

Shadefrost had went back to the place of the event for his sparring match with Deadwish, hoping it didn't take to long for him to show. In the meanwhile he began mentally as well as physically preparing himself for the battle that was to occur, stretching his limbs and back to be as lose as possible.
