Haven Springs

Pondheart walks around, sadness inside her once again. She feels disappointed for herself, before she then walks towards Haven Springs. When she's there, she looks around and scents the air for prey. She knows that later she'll apologize to Raccoonear, but she decides that now is not the time.

She thinks of all of the stupid things she's done with her life. She walks around, searching for food. When she finds the prey, she approaches, sneaking up on the mouse. She steps towards it and pounces onto it.

Pride replaces the sadness at her hunting skills, and she then buries it. She then glances around again, sniffing the air. The young warrior approaches the trees, and she starts creeping along, jumping onto one of the voles. She kills it with a quick bite.

She closes her eyes and offers a sad but happy smile. The beautiful young cat closes her eyes and sniffs the air as she climbs a tree. She sees the bird, her eyes narrowing as she creeps along and pounces. She lands on it, her claws digging into it's wings. She squeaks, the bird cries, and she kills it.

She then makes her way to the Camp - The Prey Pile.

The tuxedo giggled as he followed his friend, not even noticing the discomfort of the warrior as he looked around the forest and Haven Springs which he faintly remembered from the event a few moons ago.

They hummed as they listened to what Stonepaw was saying and they nodded quickly as they looked around for anything that looked liked what his friend wanted, his eyes flickered around before they landed on the orange plant that was described. He trotted over and leaned down and took a sniff, it smelt like what his friend has said, so he took a few of them and trotted over to Stonepaw, "Is this that marigold thing you mentioned?" while the young apprentice was confident in himself he didn't want to grab anything that was bad or not helpful.

The molly nodded, smiling as she stepped into the warm water, smiling with a small purr. "the water's nice, actually!" she purred, smiling gently as she stepped further in, carefully. She flicked her tail, gently, and smiled. She shook her head after dipping it in the warm water, water droplets making a small sound in the water.

The molly purrs as they bathe for a bit… Days like this were quite needed and this peace was worth every catch she’s ever made… Looking up, she can see the sun beginning to set… A laugh escaped her jaws as she looked to the apprentice, “It’s time we take our catches home,” she says as she steps out of the water. PebbleSplash shakes off then collects her catches, waiting for BatPaw to get themselves together.

She nodded to the statement, slowly wading out of the water to the land, shaking her fur slightly, stumbling to her prey, pulling the stick out of the ground gently, throwing it to the side, before digging in the hole until she got to her prey. She picked them up, and leapt after the warrior, smiling. She flicked her tail as she followed the warrior, watching the warrior with curious eyes, before rushing to stand next to her.

Wormbite did not offer a verbal reply, staying promptly silently as the two apprentices spoke. He carried a deadpan expression that only seemed to worsen at the suggestion of him seeing marigold. Unfortunately, he was also aware of marigold. Barely, but Wormbite had been sent out to find it at least a few. The scent was rememberable at the very least.

Leading the apprentices to the Haven Springs, he let them explore together - keeping his focus on finding the goldenrod he had been shown. Paws prodding and poking at crevices, he kept low to the ground. Specifically searching for one of the distinct scents; whiskers twitching. It was only when Wormbite strayed near a log, that he found a large patch of goldenrod growing. Poke, poke. Grimace, grimace.

He leaned down and picked the four goldenrod up by their stem, before returning back to Beetlepaw and Stonepaw. Who seemed to have found a patch of .. Wormbite leaned forward to sniff the flowers that were discovered. Tilting his head to the side being pulling back. It appeared to be marigold to him at least.

His own nose twitched as his head moved around the springs. He'd only been there once before, but now, in spring, it was significantly better looking. He began to wander around the water, stopping as he came across a patch of yellow flowered plants- goldenrod, just his luck. His head turned back to Beetlepaw as his buddy asked a question. Nipping off a few of the flowers, he skipped over and nodded. "Yeah, that's marigold!" Wormbite had also seemed to collect some plants, so it seemed that the patrol was drawing to a close. "Where'd you find it?" His attention was back on Beetlepaw.

Beetlepaw tilted his head before he spun and pointed with his paw over at the flowers he had picked from, there was still a few left after the three that the tuxedo had grabbed, “Right over there Stonypaw!!”

Seemed like they had all found a good collection of herbs. He could feel the air begin to grow colder, a clear tell sign that it was likely growing darker thus time to return back to camp. Still, Wormbite was silent as ever. Only sniffing about until he discovered the marigold Beetlepaw had been talking about. He plucked a flower, now carrying five. Which was all the Dark Lord could manage to hold in his mouth.

The oriental did believe there was more, but figured Stonepaw or Beetlepaw could collect the rest if needed. "Let us go back, " He grunted. And there oop, there he was going. Heading back. Because Ghostie doesn't want to miss the deadline.

His nose twitched as he grabbed the last two remaining stalks of marigold, which, with his three goldenrod, brought his collection to five. How wonderful. He nodded at Wormbite and took off after him, bringing their herbs back to camp.
