It was a lovely day, and Wrenkit had just decided she wanted to the coolest cat ever. Just like Mossy and Shadeer and Seedy and Moonkit and Mum and Seedy-Mama and Fire-Eyes and Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig Cat and - Oh, oh! Big Cat!
Aha! Everyone said Big Cat was the awesomest. Because, because!! (oh dear, Wrenkit was starting to sound like Mossy now.) Everyone gave Big cat gifts to become cool just like her! And Wrenkit wanted to be the awesomest too, so that was how she'd gotten to the wonderful conclusion that she would be the coolest cat ever if she gave Biiiiig cat a gift. Finding a gift to present the leader hadn't been hard - Wrenkit had scooped up the first thing her eyes landed on, which was the mossball she'd already been playing with, anyway. Maybe Big Cat would play a game with her, yeah!
Wriggling her haunches, the black and cream kitten remained where she was for a heartbeat - positioned in front of Big Cat's dark den at the base of the Funny-Rock - before leaping forward and catapulting herself into the dark dark den. Gosh, it was scary in here, but Wrenkit wouldn't be thwarted! Nuh-uh! She was gonna be the coolest kit ever! "Hu- HULLO!" She called loudly once inside the den, sitting back on her rump and spitting out the mossball in her mouth. The silly little kit didn't even bother look up from her toy to detect any signs of life after her emerald green gaze had adjusted to the dark. Wrenkit had somehow gotten it in her head that Big Brown Cat had said she'd protect her, so she obviously had nothing to fear. Not that Wrenkit had any brains to feel afraid, anyway.
[ @Undertaker - Dawnstar Biiiiiig Cat | Dawn has absolute perms to push or punt Wren back out. ]
Foxtooth took one look at Darkclouds ear and knew what happened. Dawnstar was pissed. Clearly, pissed. He thought of a quick lie. The only cat who knew was Mirehound, and she was long dead. So it would be easy to frame Darkcloud for doing things she was not supposed to. At least, he hoped.
He followed Darkcloud into the leader's den. Hiding any sign of fear or guilt, not like it was easy knowing he has a perfect lie in handy. "Dawnstar.. how nice of it to see you.. I had something to tell you myself. But seems right now is the perfect chance to do so." He smirked, looking as Snitch-like as he could at Darkcloud. This needed to be believable.
[It's alright, I understand, it happens.]
(They went from Light Yagami to L Lawliet in 30 seconds flat XD)
"Thank you Dawnstar" They dipped their head. Their dark gray tail curled and tense. "Now yes, Larkfire is young, but it would be extremely foolish to go just off of that alone. " The fun was now starting, now for the plan to be set in motion. Hopefully, Deadfeather would take the role of Enforcer.
"Larkfire is sometimes... too kind for her own good, too simple, stable... it makes me wonder what goes on in there. What secrets are hidden..." The last part was more of a mumble to themself. They continued; "Yes Larkfire is a rather new addition to the enforcers. Everyone has their ambitions, myself included. And yet, with Shadowclan? One cannot be soft and be respected by the entire clan. I will admit I am a bit hot-headed sometimes, but that was my mothers fault, she ditched me at birth." They were ranting, getting back on track, they continued.
Yes, Deadfeather was large compared to other cats, but Dawnstar was massive. "The recent patrol I was on saw Windclan on fire, did Mirehound tell you that? I was the one who thought that it could be our own problem if it reached the river and the wind blew embers to our forest. And as many cats know, I'm... limited in my emotions, I believe it heightens my logical capabilities, however. Logic, Size, Piercing Amber eyes and ambition."
"Something I find interesting, is that I find that you are a highly respectable cat, when you kill, you have reasons, others may fear you but I look up to you. Being an enforcer would let me get to know the cat I aspire to be." Deadfeather pondered for a heartbeat whether or not to add one last thing.
"I never have recalled Larkfire bringing you a pelt or bones before... has she ever brought you a gift, Shadow Queen?" Deadfeather held back a chuckle at the last, not as serious reason to challenge Larkfire. They could almost hear the song of their future.
(I have no clue what happened when I wrote that last sentence. My brain was just like hfgthdgdhfg)
Dawnstar actually gave Deadfeather their rightful dues and listen to them as they went on about Larkfire's apparent issues. Too kind, stable, simple? She suppose she could see that in the young molly, but that wasn't a reason to boot her out of the rank of enforcer. Dawnstar wouldn't exactly call the she-cat soft, she lacked the same spine as Dawnstar had but if Dawnstar compared the majority of the clan to the level of ruthless that Dawnstar was willing to commit, she'd call them all soft kittypets.
The part about a fire in WindClan was certainly more interesting, but only momentarily, she was sure she'd hear by now if the fire was any threat to ShadowClan, but she'd keep in mind Deadfeather's obvious brown-nosing. "Interesting logic, but not enough to sway me to accept a challenge with Larkfire. As you've stated she is young, and not born here. She still has so much that she could learn, and as far as bringing me gifts goes, she has moons to figure out whether she had the stomach to bring me pelts and bones and so on. Even if she never does, I would not deem her unfit for her rank."
"That's foolish on my part. Larkfire may not have the same level of viciousness as some clanmates, but what she lacks there she makes up with competence and overall loyalty which I am sorely lacking in this clan. Though I'm not a fan of the kindness, she gets along well with the kits and apprentices, and that... softness seems to be a part of that. I don't like it, but she has yet to prove to me that that softer side of her is a weakness that can be exploited." Larkfire's reminded Dawnstar of Dappledleaf in a way, the queen was normally pretty gentle and caring when it came to the clan's kits, soft, but the Queen's already shown her that was more than willing to shed blood and take lives for those kits.
"So I won't be accepting your challenge for Larkfire, however, I will give you the same deal I gave Mirehound. You show me that you have what it takes to become an Enforcer, and I'll promote you. Rather than challenging for the rank prove to me that you deserve it. I haven't heard about the WindClan fire, so I'm glad to hear you report it at least, it's a nice start."

Dawnstar waved her tail to the side as Darkcloud walked in with Foxtooth, she looked at the slimy furball with a cold hard stare. The smirk he was wearing on his face was annoying and telling. "Darkcloud remain, I might have more questions for you." Dawnstar ordered Darkcloud without removing her gaze from Foxtooth.
"So you have something to say, speak, I'm listening." She growled, tail already fluffing up in impending agitation. She really should have just killed him earlier for giving away prey and allowing their enemy into their territory. The tom was already a liar in Dawnstar's mind seeing as he's lied to her more than once now. She had been hoping Foxtooth was smart and actually attempted to repent for his wrongdoings, but that smirk on his maw made it seem unlikely.

She heard it, the uneven paw steps, small paw steps, as they clambered over to her den. Dawnstar kept her eyes close, remaining curled up in her bedding as if silently hoping still and unmoving would make the pest go away. Alas, it didn't. The voice that called out all squeaky like a mouse had Dawnstar sighing loudly and opening her amber orbs, the golden pools glowing in the dimly lit den.
Yawning, which sounded more like a growl, Dawnstar forced herself to her paws and swung her huge head in the direction of the mouth of the den where she spotted the hairball. Not in the mood to deal with the bit-sized pest, the Queen padded over with every intention of taking the kit back to the nursery... or that was the plan until her front paw came down on something very soggy and sticky. "EWWWWW! What did I just step in." She spat, plopping down on her bottom to inspect what she had just stepped in.
Upon inspection, she found it to be a glob of moss. Disgusting, kitten chewed, moss. "Whhhhy? Hairball explain." Dawnstar demanded. Her front paw shook rapidly as if trying to flick off water until the moss detached itself from her paw pad and flew in the direction of Wrenkit's head.

Foxtooth shifted himself to the side a bit. "So- when I was hunting with Sootclaw as you told me to. I caught Darkcloud having a picnic with a rouge." He said, turning an angry glance towards Darkcloud. "And of course, since Sootclaw was heading back to camp. Not even seeing what was going on, I had to follow them. " He looked towards Darkcloud. His eyes were telling something. Please tell her this was true. He knew there was no way this cat would frame themselves after catching someone red-handed. He looked towards Dawnstar in hopes she didn't notice.
"And, knowing evil Darkcloud. She tried to get rid of me so no cat would know." He finished, flicking his tail and sending Darkcloud another eye message. If not, could you at least tell Lilyheart what happened? I have no idea where she is, but if you see her. Please tell her where i am. It will keep her from worrying.

Please don't use colors that are difficult to see, White, black, and really any dark color other than purple are fine!
Darkcloud still remained emotionless as Foxtooth lied tried to frame her "Typical traitor trying to frame another cat and is that really the best he could do of course Dawnstar's not going to believe him". she thought unimpressed as she continued to stare at him with narrowed eyes but still remained silent.
Biiiig Cat was silly silly! So, so funny too! Giggling happily at her leader's disgusted expression, the black and white kitten beamed up at Dawnstar - until a certain mossball was flung at her head, and Wrenkit froze in place with shock as the glob of chewed-up moss slid down her face and then neck. Wholly still, Wrenkit remained that way for a moment, puzzling over why Big Cat had thrown -
Oh! Ohhhhh!!
Maniacal glee flickered across Wrenkit's expression as she began hopping up and down once more. "Biiiig Cat play with Wrenny?!" She asked, wide-eyed and giddy. "Play catch-and-catch with mossball? Yes, yes!" With a hiccup of delight, the small kitten flung herself toward her leader and attempted to wrap herself around Dawnstar's front limb in some sort of hug, soggy mossball and all. "Biiiiig Cat so cool! Wrenny be just like Big Cat when Wrenny is.. when Wrenny a big cat too."
Peeling herself away from the dark-furred tabby, Wrenkit sat back on her rump once more, grinning toothily at the Shadow Queen. "Wait, Wrenny almost forget why Wrenny here." Blinking down at the soggy - albeit flattened - moss that clung to her fur, the black and white kitten scraped it off herself, watching it fall to the floor with a dispassionate thump. "Oh, that was gift for you Big Cat, but it get squished." She blinked again, emerald hues trailing back up to watch Dawnstar. "Big Cat step on Wrenny's toy-mossball-stolen-from-moonkit-but-gift-for-big-cat?" Head tilting to the side with apparent confusion, Wrenkit only managed to stare at her so-called idol. "Wrenny need to stomp all things to be cool like Big Cat? Can do that, can do that!" Giggling once more, the happy kitten hopped to her paws and began searching the den, presumably for something to stomp on.
A few moments later, the kitten paused in front of a bird skull, sticking out her tongue at it and pointing with a white paw. "I step on him? He look like meanie. Meanie just like Fun-Stealer-Says-His-Name-Is-Blackhawk. I step, yes? Wrenny go stomp stomp stomp!"

It was a tad concerning, the sudden turn ShadowClan had taken from having internal conflicts to external ones. It was like this Clan couldn't go on without having some sort of chaos. Then again, Lark supposed she should have been expecting it. For someone who'd dedicated her life to becoming Fablespinner's copy, she was failing wonderfully. Truth be told, ShadowClan had made her soft, if anything. It was the bitter truth.
Expression a grim mask of veiled anger, Larkfire stopped her back and forth pacing in the clearing to turn in the direction of Dawnstar's den.
One step, two. And then she paused.
Dappledleaf's motherly tendencies had softened her. Darkfall's constant rejections, and now his radio silence, had shattered her. ShadowClan's younger generation had adopted her like an aunt, and in the process they'd doomed her. But in the end, she'd let herself care too much, and she'd ruined herself. There was no one to blame but her. Placing the blame on everyone but herself would be coward's folly.
Swinging around, the youngest enforcer continued her pacing, shooting the dark sky an irritated glower. It was still a good deal before sunrise, Lark could wait at least until the sun rose before bothering her leader.
Finally, when Larkfire could wait no longer, and the sun had begun to peek out over the horizen, the lithe grey found herself standing in front of Dawnstar's den, expression smoothing into careful neutrality. (One of these days, she was going to burn herself out with all this pretend. But that didn't matter now, it was Future Lark's problem.) "Dawnstar." The word slipped out on it's own, and Larkfire turned her attention towards the leader, amber hues glowing. "I have.. news."

Dawnstar listened as Foxtooth once again tried to lie his way out of trouble. He really should know by now that lying to her was not the way to go. He hadn't learned anything from the demotion. "I feel like I was very gracious, giving you a chance to redeem yourself instead of killing you for inviting an enemy into my territory and offering them your clan's prey, and lying to my face about who it was. But now you've proven that you are nothing more than a lying traitor as you yet again stand in front of me and lie to my face." Besides the fact that he was not doing a very good job lying with the consistent obvious glances at Darkcloud, he had no credibility and was terrible at coming up with believable lies.
[HR powerplay: HR execution for disloyalty, repeated lying, disobeying direct orders, and multiple traitorous offenses against ShadowClan] "Since you've proven that you can't be trusted, I'm not going to waste my time even letting you try to explain yourself. You had your chance you blew it." The leader didn't give him a chance to fight back or defend himself, she simply lunged forwards at a rapid speed and sank her fangs into the side of Foxtooth's neck, and dropped the body once she saw the life drain out of his eyes. "Take the body and toss it into the outskirts." She told Darkcloud once she was done.

Dawnstar sat in her den, ducking her head to sniff at her paw concerned about getting stupidity germs from the mousebrain furball. Dawnstar set the hairball a cold glare as Wrenkit took to believing that she was playing some sort of game. It's been some time since she's had to deal with a kit this immature, not to say that Vulturepaw and Smolderingpaw hadn't been immature as kits, but they hadn't pestered her about playing with their gross mossball. The leader continued to stare at Wrenkit like the kit was a little fly that she was tempted to step on.
Tail bristling, Dawnstar wrinkled her nose disgusted as the kit flung herself at her clinging to her front paw, slimy mossball and all. "I'm not playing with you, hairball. Be grateful that I'm tolerating you." Dawnstar growled back shutting down any attempts at playing with her. Dawnstar hadn't even played such foolish games as a kit. Icestar hadn't allowed her much time to be a kit, and little she could recall about being in the nursery wasn't pleasant.
Her ears were plastered to her head as the foolish furball finally got the reason she was bothering her. To gift her a stolen, soggy, mossball... lovely. As the kit went on chattering, Dawnstar tune the majority of it out until she got to the stomping part. Then proceed to dart around her attempting to stomp on Dawnstar's things. "Okay, I believe that I've indulged you enough time to yeet you." Dawnstar growled, padding over to the small kit and reaching down to scuff her. The leader padded over to the opening in her den, being careful to not step on that grossball again, and dropped the hairball outside of her den.
"You are giving me a literal headache. Perhaps I'll tolerate you better when you are older, but as you are now, shoo." Dawnstar nudged the kit further out of her den. "Go find Dappledleaf or someone to play with. It's not my job to entertain you."

One ear twitched as she heard the incoming paws pause near the entrance of her den. Dawnstar yawned silently and roused herself from her light slumber, and peered at the entrance of the den eerily. The savage Shadow Queen forced herself to her paws as Larkfire called for her. She frowned at the word news, rarely did she ever get good news. Still, good, or bad, she'll take whatever news so long as it kept her up in the loop on the clan. "Come sit." She commanded, twitching her whiskers. "Well, let's hear it."

@Undertaker @The Doctor (So yall can just read if yall want. AND YES THANK YOU. THE LIL GUY IS DEAD YAYYY)
Before the death
Foxtooth stand there, surprised but not surprised his lie didn't work. Of course, it didn't work, he was stupid. And that mistake would cost him his life. He knew it. The way Dawnstar's face changed. The way she spoke about killing him when he first did something wrong.
The death (TW IF YOU DO NOT LIKE DEATH OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, SKIP OVER OR SIMPLY DON'T READ)
Foxtooth's eyes went wide when the fangs of Dawnstar sank into his throat. Nothing could be done, he helplessly yowled. It came out all bubbly as the blood filled his mouth and reeked down his fur. Turning his cream-colored fur into a musky reddish maroonish color. His breathing was heavy as he tried his best to wiggle out. But it was no use. His breathing got slower..slower..slower..until it just stopped. A squeak of pain escaped him until he went limp.
