This plot is for my (main?) Dapplewing! It’s about the different kinds of love in his life and how he copes with significant losses. For the most part, this is a plot where you can apply your character, but there will be one adoptable available as well.
Let’s get into the plot and then discuss the roles!
Pt. 0 Prologue
This is the most simple part of the plot! There are a couple of roles that I would like to interact with one another before the plot actually begins. Namely Milkbush, Dapplewing’s friends and his closest friend/possible future love interest. There’s no real blueprint for these interactions, just casual mother/son interactions with Milkbush and friendly interactions with his friends. Group rps with friends might happen as well! It’ll be like a lovely little friend group.
Pt. 1 The Sun
Dapplewing and his mother, Milkbush, were always close. He was her one and only kitten that stayed. Dapplewing was her little miracle, her shining star. As long as they had each other, they’d be alright!
Even well into being a warrior, you could often find Dapplewing alongside his mother, almost as if he never grew any older than five moons. He’s always searching for her approval, always wanting to spend time with her… He’s a real momma’s boy.
Milkbush was his sun.
However, the sun is not always in the sky. The sun will go down, leaving the sky to darken underneath the pale moonlight.
Dapplewing knew that death was always just around the corner, which is why he prefers to live life to the fullest. He doesn’t necessarily fear death for himself, but he soon comes to realize that he did fear death in some way… Just not when it was coming for him.
Currently, I’m deciding that Milkbush will die due to old age. This is totally up to change, if you are adopting Milkbush and want to offer up a different death, I’m up for just about anything at all!
Pt. 2 The Dark Sky
After the death of his mother, Dapplewing is different. The fun-loving, charismatic tom that he once was is almost nowhere to be found. He keeps up with his warrior duties, but he’s essentially a shell of who he once was. He’s constantly pushing people away, all of his friends and even his closest friend, too.
This part of the plot is also generally flexible. The roles involved in this part of the plot are Dapplewing’s three friends. Dapplewing will be going through all of the stages of grief, and this part of the plot focuses on the first four stages, denial, anger, bargaining and depression.
Pt. 3 Moonlight
Acceptance.
Finally, he has come to accept his mother’s death. Milkbush is gone, and there’s nothing he can do. All that he can do is move on, for her, at the very least.
He opens up to his friends again, and small slivers of himself are slowly coming to light again.
Dapplewing will be especially close with his closest friend during this part. He’s opening himself up again, healing. He’s learning to be himself without his mother.
This healing and time with his closest friend could spark romantic feelings.
Pt. 4 Sunrise
Perhaps the sun is not always in the sky, but it will always rise when the morning comes. Although the sun has returned, his days aren’t as bright as they used to be… But that’s okay.
Dapplewing is himself again, but perhaps a bit more mellowed out and mature. He’s content with himself, his friends, (and his mate as well, if a romantic relationship blooms).
The day eventually comes when the sun is bright, and that comes in the form of a small bundle of fur that Dapplewing finds, all on their lonesome. His one and only kitten. His little miracle, his sun.
Tada! On with the roles!
Milkbush is a fluffy white molly with brown eyes. Her fluffy fur makes her appear much larger than she actually is!
She's an older she-cat, a recent elder that has retired in Riverclan. Despite her age, she likes to act as if she were young. Her relationship with her son is very important, as he is the only family that she has left. She still treats him like a kitten sometimes, scolding him for 'bad' behavior and grooming the fur that he can't reach. She likes to pester him about grandkittens, although she knows that he doesn't have a mate yet.

Dapplewing's closest friend should be very supportive of him.. They're best friends, after all!
This role also has the possibility of unfolding into a romantic relationship. It isn't mandatory by any means, but it is a possibility! He is pansexual, so this is open for anyone at all as long as they're around the same age!

Dapplewing's friends should als o be supportive of him, too! The only difference here is that they won't be as close to Dapplewing as his closest friend will be, and the possibility of a romantic relationship isn't applied here.
This kitten will be adopted by Dapplewing and his mate if he ends up having one. The last part of the plot probably won't happen for a while, so keep that in mind when making applications.
This kitten will be his entire heart and soul! The two will grow to have a close relationship.

If your interested in him having a friend out of clan, I can offer Silverpaw of Shadowclan, she was formerly named Silvershadow but has been demoted till, hopefully no later than July, but it has essentially left her with no friends or relationships, which includes family, since her sister left, so she is 21 1/2 moons old, distant and reserved, but she puts up a wall of annoyance to hide her real feelings. If he started a conversation with her she would probably talk.

Definitely an option! However, how do you think they would meet and befriend one another in the first place? Do you have any ideas? I'd love to hear them if you do!

Milkbush

Personality:
A quiet and sweet she-cat, Milkbush has a habit of correcting others'mistakes. She is a person who enjoys to interact with others, and it often makes others think that she is a gossiper. She is not, though, the only person she speaks to on a daily basis is her son - Dapplewing. She is a very trusting - and trust-worthy - cat who loves to be around others. Hating to be alone, she has a bad history with losing others so she is a bit clingy. She loves her son a lot more than she lets on, and she doesn't want to rely on him too much.
Physical:
Milkbush is a fluffy white molly with brown eyes. Her fluffy fur makes her appear much larger than she actually is. This fluff also hides a little bit of the pudge that she has put on since her recent retirement - but she has started to interact with cats more lately. She has a few very light grey markings on her paws, face and tail that are very similar to a tabby's.
This beautiful she-cat has quite a few scars from her battles with ShadowClan. One of her eyes is permanently closed, her right one, and her ears are both pretty ragged looking. Her right front paw is lame - the bones inside were crushed - because of a bear trap that she had stepped into as an apprentice.
History:
Raised with two brothers - Sunkit and Moonkit - Milk was the youngest. She was often treated as the weaker of the three, because she was the smallest as well, but she was loved. As a kit, her parents were always sheltering her and her brothers.
But as an apprentice, they couldn't protect her as much because neither of them were her mentor. She had, instead, got a cruel warrior by the name of Burntbriar. Milkpaw had always came back to the Clan bruised and beaten, but the young apprentice had slowly became stronger. During this time, Sunpaw(Sunstrike) and Moonpaw(Moonsong) had grown apart, and the two young apprentices had gotten into a fight with their parents while Milkpaw was hunting.
After that, she had stepped on a bear trap as an apprentice, making her right front paw crushed and lame before the two-leg took her out.
One day before her warrior ceremony, Burntbriar was found dead with a stolen kitten from a female loner who was also found dead. Milkpaw had taken the kit in, as her own, naming the little she-kit Shadowkit. Milk and Shadow had grown up together, and another apprentice - Dogpaw - had helped Milk take care of the deaf kitten.
And as a warrior, Milk- had slowly got feelings for Dogspark. She had admitted this to her mother, who had smiled and told her to tell him. So, of course, she did. And he admitted that he has fell for her as well.
But shortly after the two young warriors had become mates, Moonsong and Sunstrike both left the Clan together after getting into another argument with their parents. Milk-'s mother was devastated, and during that leaf-bare contracted Greencough and died. Milk-'s father then soon died afterwards from grief. She felt guilty because she had not known what her parents were going through,
The young kit that Milk- and Dogspark had raised went missing shortly before Milk- had a litter of three kittens - Dawnkit, Duskkit, and Twilightkit. Milk and Dog were saddened by Shadowpaw's disappearance, but the two young warriors took it in stride.
Milk- and Dogspark had raised their kits well. The three kits had made great apprentices, and Milk- had found out that she was pregnant. Then, of course, Dogspark had been killed by a group of angry ShadowClan warriors when he and their three kits - now apprentices - were on a patrol. The apprentices were all wounded, but they had made it.
But now sad(but proud of the way he had protected their kits), Milk- raised her new kits(Specklekit and Dapplekit) alone - until a quiet warrior had slowly started to enter her life. This warrior, Silentwave, became her new mate, and had helped raise her new kits.
Milk- was happy with Silentwave and their family. But, of course, with her luck this did not last long. After having a litter of kits with her - Wavekit, Tidekit, Crashkit, Oceankit, and Seakit - Silentwave had disappeared. Then, slowly, her first two litters of kits - Dawnspot, Duskfall, Twilightmoon, and Specklepaw - had left the clan for their own lives. Leaving her with Dapplepaw, Wavekit, Tidekit, Crashkit, Oceankit, and Seakit.
Now a senior warrior, the older she-cat watched her kits grow up into warriors from the side lines. Dapplepaw became Dapplewing, Wavekit became Wavesplash, Tidekit became Tidescreech, Crashkit became Crachingthunder, Oceankit became Silverocean, and Seakit because Seastorm. She had loved them all, but they had grown distant from her - but Dapplewing had stayed close with Milk-. This had made her life easier until she entered retirement after a long and deadly battle with ShadowClan that had claimed the lives of many clanmates - Seastorm and Silverocean included. After a moon, Wavesplash, Tidescreech, and Crashingthunder had went missing from the Clan, presumed dead(but they all reside in another Clan).
@Omari -> okay, so the history is long but I wanted her to have a large family that she had lost most of. The ones in bold can all be adopted out, if you want.
