"I hate this forest. I hate it." South snapped as she pushed her way through the undergrowth, giving her fur a shake to rid herself of the burrs that clung to her white and ginger pelt. Her eyes sparked with annoyance as she had to reach around and pluck the last final one with her teeth. Ever since her and West had begun this journey to find their brother North they hadn't come across a single cat. Sure, the scent markers were everywhere, but it seemed that no cat dared venture out here since there were no tracks in the thin layer of snow that covered the ground. South turned her head to look at West over her shoulder. "Shouldn't we have come across them by now? What are they all doing, hiding?" she hissed, obviously displeased at the lack of one, knowing where to go, and two, any cat around to offer directional information.

Sighing, Tumblepaw closed his eyes. A vision of Honeykit suddenly flashed in his mind, accompanied by Beaverkit. Their bodies lay in front of him, torn apart. His eyes flew open, full of horror. A yowl of anger erupted from him and he saw red. Staggering, he was full of confusion. Why did that vision occur to him? His eyes turned to his mentor, she was covered in blood. Tumblepaw narrowed his eyes and screeched, leaping at Thrushwing. Even though he wasn't that strong, he still barreled at the she-cat, attempting to knock her over.

Thrushwing fell in the ground, he reached her left shoulder, she felt scared, because she never saw a apprentice act like that, her fur shivered, but one thing make her happy, she saw how strong he can be, ''i think he is more swift, than stronger'' thought Thrushwing, she rose up, turning her head to Tumblepaw, without any fear, ''I think you are more swift than stronger, so, i will try to attack you, and you will try to dodge, if you are not tired'' meowed the she-cat.

Tumblepaw blinked, coming out of his state of rage. He shivered, shocked with his actions. He looked up at his fearless mentor and nodded silently in agreement. Getting into a ready stance, he studied Thrushwing for any sign of movement.

Gazeshadow walked out of the camp and sniffs the air. He looked around the forest with a purr as he felt the sun burn into his black fur.

Icefang patted out of the camp behind Gazeshadow, and licked her white paw drawing it over her ear.

" Are you sure? We are likely to be seen.." she said a bit worried. " Because no cat besides the leader and the medicine cats are allowed to go there..."
