Tyger, tyger, burning bright
Firepaw comes into the world.....dramatically, to say the least. His mother didn't survive kitting, and neither did most of his siblings. He had a sister who lived for a few days, but she passed. He seemed to have taken all the energy available, pulling it from siblings and mother alike, and pulling it into his own brilliance. At least, that's what he tells everyone when they ask why he has no family. Secretly he feels guilty, but that's not important.
In the forests of the night
At such a young age, Firepaw didn't really understand that there were supposed to be more cats that he was close with. He didn't make many friends, mostly because he didn't see them as necessary. What did he need other kits for when he could challenge himself, setting benchmark after benchmark for his speed, his strength, his agility, his mind? Sometimes he's lonely, and he isn't particularly well adjusted, but so is everyone in Shadowclan so he tries not to let it bother him.
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearsome symmetry?
For one so young, Firepaw is quite well-formed. He is of a medium height, lithe and with very soft, vibrantly white and orange fur. His eyes are bright and speak to at least moderate intelligence, and he keeps himself well-groomed. Despite his relatively soft appearance he is fast and has a decent amount of power behind any blows he might swing. That said, he's not the fastest or strongest, just about average in most physical attributes hidden in a nice fluffy package.

Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
Firepaw burns. He doesn't always know for what, but he is filled with energy, drive, so all-consuming that he has no choice but to channel it in every which way. This can be productive, or destructive. Hunting and battle training will exhilarate him. Patrols and taking care of the elders? Not so much. When he's forced to do things he doesn't find challenging enough he seeks other ways to amuse himself, often by attempting to provoke a battle of wits by insulting other cats, or plotting elaborate pranks that he may later attempt to carry out. This rarely ends well.
On what wings dare he aspire?
Firepaw's ultimate goal is not horribly exciting. It's basically every other kits goal, become leader or deputy or something powerful. Help the clan, yadda yadda yadda. He wants to do it with a bit of.....pizzazz though. He doesn't want to be a mindless, bloodthirsty, crude, killing machine. Firepaw has CLASS. Or so he thinks. This is directly contradicted by his propensity to start unnecessary scuffles, although he would argue that a bit of wittiness was, in fact, classy, insulting or not. His verbal acrobatics simply add to his 'charm'. In seriousness, though, he is actually relatively squeamish about killing. He'd much prefer to send any opponents off to bring the terror of his claws and tongue to rival clans. Yeah, he's a little dramatic. Sue him.
What the hand, dare seize thy fire?
Oh yeah. Firepaw will flirt with anyone and anything that has a pulse, whether he likes them or not. He's cool like that. He'll work hard, and do his due diligence, but at the end of the day he doesn't take himself too seriously. There's room for a bit of fun in his life, albeit as long as his pelt doesn't get seriously mucky. He's very persnickety about his fur. He claims that if its dirty he loses his appeal. He doesn't have all that much to begin with, but cut him some slack.

What he's looking for most in a relationship is intellectual stimulation. He doesn't want to be bored, he wants to have someone to bounce ideas off of and debate with from time to time, whether the debates are hypothetical or rooted in the present doesn't matter to him. Despite his flirty, energetic nature he'd be very committed to any lovers, and definitely interested in a family. That being said, however, he's not the type to marry his highschool sweetheart. He'd probably have a few crushes, maybe even a fling or two, before he finally figures out what he's looking for and settles down. @
