Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
Pumpkinpatch came trotting in with two dead apprentices, one Shadowclan... The other one, Galepaw. She made a beeline for Bumblestar.
"Bumblestar!" the calico warrior shouted, "I found Galepaw and a Shadowclan apprentice dead on the Riverclan side of our territory, they drowned." Pumpkinpatch brought the pair to Bumblestar.
"After I pay my respects to Galekit and his family, I will take the other apprentice to Shadowclan if that's alright?" she asked quickly. Her fur was soaked with water from two apprentices.

Ripplepaw froze. He saw Galekit. No Galepaw. Galepaw. NO. NO. NO. NO.
"GALEPAW NO!" he wailed like a kit. He lost his whole family now. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. It couldn't be. But it was true. He was now alone...
He felt like a baby as he dragged himself over to his soaked brother. His green eyes filled with tears and he sobbed on his brother. Ripplepaw's heart shattered, his brother had been there with him, just those two. Now he was gone.
Bumblestar quickly crossed the clearing as Pumpkinpatch appeared with two bodies in tow—one, she recognized as Galepaw with a sharp pang, and the other she didn't know at all. She was very quickly becoming irritated with these back-to-back losses. Not even grieving, just irritated.
"I don't care what you do with the ShadowClanner's body," she said flatly after a moment, glancing at Ripplepaw and then back to Pumpkinpatch. "Leave it at the border for them to find, for all I care. Just get it out of here."
If Pumpkinpatch got shredded lugging a dead ShadowClan apprentice around the pine forest, then that was the warrior's own fault. Bumblestar ran her tongue over her jaws and moved away to make space for any of the others who wanted to pay their respects.

Pumpkinpatch nodded, figuring the leader was irritated at the clan's rapid losses, oh well. She left Galepaw next to Ripplepaw as she turned heel and left with the Shadowclan apprentice.
The silver warrior had just finished fixing a twisted branch in side of the apprentice's den as Pumpkinpatch entered the camp, but with the bodies of two young cats. She recognized Galepaw imminently, but the other one... a Shadowclan apprentice? With a Thunderclan one, on Riverclan's side of their border? "Where exactly did you find them?" Her question was directed at Pumpkinpatch, but her ears angeled towards Bumblestar as the leader spoke. Just leave the Shadowclanner's body? Galebird was more focused on figuring out who on earth two apprentices - neither of which were from Riverclan - ended up in drowning in the river, but just dumping a body by the border was too reckless, and frankly, too inconsiderate for the young warrior.
"I can accompany you to the Shadowclan border," she offered to Pumpkinpatch. At least that way we can explain what happened. A body just left by the border could be taken as a sign of hostility or even a threat, and she was less than eager to give those kinds of messages to the most bloodthirsty of all the clans. "After that maybe you can show me where you found them."

GENTLEDOE
messy-furred brown she-cat with heterochromia. she/her
With the petname uttered from Bumblestar's lips, Gentledoe felt her brow quirk. However, now was not to time to feel happy about being called sweetheart- there was an important task at paw, and she would complete it. The tabby she-cat nodded.
"Understood, love," she said, offering a thin smile in Bumblestar's direction before turning as another she-cat approached.
Ah, Mothdapple. Good. Gentledoe shared a nod to the other she-cat. That meant she only had to find one warrior to accompany them. Bicolored eyes passed over the camp before settling on a certain pelt.
"Shimmerbeak, dear, could you please come with us as well?" she called. Hopefully they could get this done quickly. She didn't want anymore warriors to be at risk- the safety of her Clan was at stake.
ACT ONE .
An unusual name, but catchy. Icepaw to Icespice. Many cats would have said, ice doesn’t match with spice, they’re different things! Not for Icespice. This girl had attitude and sass and she wasn’t going to let measly comments bring her down.
Today’s weather was horrible, wind racing. She turned her head to groom her shoulder, ear pricked for any gossip. She overheard a few cats murmuring.
“Icespice, was her name?” one cat whispered. “Yeah! Whoever she is, her name is not pretty!” another one crowed. “Yeah! Who’s called that? Icespice? Sounds like a kittypet name.” another one quipped. Rage burst through her and she narrowed her eyes. She turned around and trotted up to them. They turned to her, surprised, some scared.
“what are you guys talking about?” she asked. One blinked quickly and th either scowled while another one stuttered. “Er… the weather and how more prey is returning!” they flashed her a nervous smile and she arched an eyebrow. “How quaint.” she hissed, words soaked with sarcasm. She shoved her snout to the biggest with the fiercest snarl. “You see, I will not tolerate you disrespecting me, alright?” she snarled. “Not one bit.” she growled, icy eyes staring into his soul before she pulled away and padded off.
That was why her name was Icespice. She was cool as snow and as fierce as fire.

Glad that she was accepted to join, she sat down next to Gentledoe.

[Since Shimmerbeak was shelved, I'll be having her call forward another warrior.]
Once Mothdapple sat next to her, Gentledoe shared a curt nod toward the other warrior. She then looked around. Ah... perhaps she would need to call someone else forward as well. Looking around, bicolored eyes sorted through all the warriors she could see before landing on someone.
"Galebird, please come along with us on this patrol as well," she called.
After waiting a few moments, Gentledoe nodded to the two and spun around, making her way out of the camp. There was no time to waste- far too many deaths had already occurred, and she would do what she could to stop any more. Even if they found nothing, it was good to check.
This guy sounded intimidatingly smart. Her catbrows raised ever so slightly in impressed timidness, but she didn't comment. Why would she? He was nice, she was just awkward and wasn't too familiar with his vocabularly. And boy was it expansive. Progeny? Nostalgia? Prowess? She felt dumber with every passing word. The slim warrior let out a soft chuckle, not showing how shy she was on the outside, but instead just keeping herself calm and confident. Well, as much as possible. "I'm glad to see that you're so confident. It's not everyday someone is so sure of themselves, it's quite a reassuring thing to witness, personally." It was. Empowering, she meant, to see someone be so... sure of themselves. It was refreshing. And confusing, since she could never.
Ears pricking as he spoke again, she tipped her head to the side thoughtfully, before responding to his query. "Honestly, it's still unfamiliar and kind of strange. It looks like camp, and the Clan is here, but it just doesn't feel right yet. I do like the sense of security knowing that no other Clan will be able to find us, though. I've seen two different Clans come into our camp and cause trouble, and I haven't been around very long. This camp feels safer." She hope she didn't sound as paranoia-riddled as she thought she did as she responded, hopefully he would at least slightly understand what she was saying.
