Alderstep simply nodded at the apprentice and chose to sit down next to her, so as to focus on what came next in the meeting. Even if Treepaw seemed enthusiastic, something he could never understand, she seemed like a nice enough cat. Not bratty or anything, so he assumed that mentoring her would go well. It'd be work, as usual, but it'd be fine (hah, something was bound to go wrong. Wasn't that how life was?). It helped that Alderstep was more of a tired cat right now rather than an annoyed one. Maybe he'd find himself bothered by the youth later on, but that was something to consider later. For now, he'd just sit here and suppress his yawns. The warm sun never did much to keep him awake.

Good. Now, with that taken care of...

"Alongside current apprentice assignments, some reassignments are also in order." Bumblestar's stare sharpened again as she looked down at her Clan. "Apparently some cats are incapable of doing basic duties, like training their apprentices. I don't want to hear about incompetent teachers from the apprentices I'm giving you; we'll be having a talk if I do. Apprentices, if you're mentors are slacking, I encourage you to seek training elsewhere. I don't need you fallin' behind.

"Woodpaw [ @/~LeafRabbit~ ], you're with Morningcall [ @/TawnyNeedsACoffee ].

Hazelpaw, I'm takin' over for you. You'll be training alongside Goldenpaw.

Ospreypaw [ @/perseus. ], with Drizzlecloud [ @/Omari ].

Echopaw [ @/Octavia! ], with Mothdapple [ @/Radetzky ].

Gentledoe [ @/lio ], take Wolfpaw [ @/naiad ].

Spiderthroat [ @/Starfall ], I want you to handle Cracklepaw [ @/Leafí ] and Cinderpaw, if you can find her. Don't know where she went off to." Whatever. Not her problem anymore, at least.

"Silverpaw [ @/Starfall ], Lioncrest [ @/Jayvines ] will be takin' over your training.

Finally, Asterdance—" she waved a paw at the warrior to hopefully grab their attention, then pointed at the apprentice in mind "—you'll be lookin' after Russetpaw [ @/lio ]."

And, with that exhaustive list taken care of... "We've also got some returnin' faces. Dapplepaw, Ravenpaw, Frogpaw, and Nightgaze have all come back to ThunderClan. Dapplepaw [ @/Bean_the_Voyager ], Softsky [ @/WinterMara ] is in charge of your training. Ravenpaw [ @/Forgotten ], for you it's Hawkshade [ @/magpie ]. Frogpaw [ @/Loveless.Fawn ], Bluebellsong [ @/Nixey ]."

Bumblestar ran her tongue over her lips as she ran through the rest of what she had to go over in her head. Just a few things, then she could get on with the last big announcement.

"In line with the old camp being off-limits for those of you who like to go it alone, Muskrat Mire is now no longer part of our territory. From where we've moved to, it's too far of a trek out to keep up with properly, so it's gone. I don't care if you still want to take trips, but it's not considered ours anymore. Additionally, I’ll be increasing patrols around the Mossy Den. Gentledoe discovered a rogue there and took care of them, because apparently we’ve been neglecting our own territory, so keep an eye out for any trespassers, cat or otherwise. You spot something, take care of it if possible, or come to me or a Keeper.

"Now, let me also make one thing very clear. If any of you have got moss stuffed in your ears, I suggest you get it out this instant. I don’t want anyone mentioning that we’ve moved camps to anyone outside of ThunderClan. That includes at borders, at Gatherings, to rogues you randomly meet along the way, ANYONE. We’ve got a great advantage on the other Clans right now, especially ShadowClan—" if they ever tried another camp takeover, they'd be met with just a pit in the ground "—and that’s that they don’t have a clue in the world where we are. So keep your muzzles shut. If I find out you’ve been spillin' this to cats who don’t need to know, you’ll have me personally to answer to, and it won’t be pretty. If you've got questions, now's the time to ask, otherwise I'm movin' on to my last notes."

She settled down into a lounging position, front paws crossed and dangling off the edge of the Stormcrest as she watched her Clan.

Cherrykit listened carefully to the leader's words. "Nice," she mumbled to herself. She was happy the Clan seemed to be going well.

The molly awoke from her nap [although it felt more like a an awful daytime slumber] to hear names being called in the clearing. . .and then more names, shoot, she was either missing patrols or a meeting. As she rushed out to the clearing, the latter seemed to be confirmed, so she quickly say as apprentices were being assigned to mentors.

Okay so, seems like she got none in the reassignments, but her ears perked as Dapplepaw, a returnee to the clan was assigned to her. Wow, this felt kind of sudden, but she was happy about it [albiet. . .a little nervous due to her new daytime exhaustion.]. Walking over to the molly, she decided to introduce herself. "Hello Dapplepaw, I am Softsky."

Dapplepaw froze as she heard Bumblestar call. She let out a sigh of relief as the leader continued. A... mentor? Right, they train me.... i think? She turned and stood up to find her mentor. Softsky, was it? she thought. Luckily, her mentor knew her name. She padded up to her mentor. "Hi, my name is dapplepaw" she said almost silently.

Goldenpaw perked up at Hazelpaws name as it came up for reassignments. He wasnt sure what he was expecting, but it certainly wasnt that she would also have Bumblestar as an apprentice. He trotted over to bump his shoulder against her own, a smug grin on his face, "try to keep up Hazelpaw" he teased, though it was obvious that he was glad to train alongside her from then on.

There Crackle'paw sat, minding his own business... When he heard his name called.
Oh no.... NO NO NO! This couldn't be happening right now! He thought he had been free from any bossy mentor, but this was ultimately proved wrong by Bumble'stars words. Sure, getting stuck in the loop of training once more was bad enough, but the thing that set him off more was his new mentor.... Spider'throat. Of all the damned cats in this place, Blumble'star picked HIM! WHY HIM! This was the cat he had insulted over the last meeting, this was the cat that had probably killed someone for being annoying.... THIS WAS THE CAT THAT DANGLED KITS OVER A CLIFF! So just imagine the things this guy would do to him! OH STARS HE WAS DOOMED!

Fear striking him like a freight train, Crackle'paw stared wide eyed at the leader. What had he ever done to deserve this!? "W-what!? SPIDER'THROAT!?" he wailed. " BUT HE'LL KILL ME! AND I DON'T WANNA DIE!" Panic igniting in his gaze, he looked around for the gathered group of cats. This was bad... Very bad... If he died... Who would torment the kits? How would he ever get a girlfriend if he was six-feet-under?! And worst of all, who would watch over Maple'face and her ugly children!? HIS POOR SISTER WOULD BE MISERABLE WITHOUT HIM!

All of these things built in his mind as he stood stone still. He was as good as dead! There was no one to help him! May the stars have mercy on his soul...

Leafkit idly listened as Bumblestar continued her spiel about meeting stuff, none of it had to do with her. Well she got somewhat interested in a few kits being named apprentices. "Soon that'll be us becoming apprentices!" she gave off bit of excitement. She had a long way to go but she had somewhat of a decent amount of patience in her. Now it was about a bunch of apprentices giving warriors to train them, nothing to do with her again. There she goes spacing out again when she got bored and tired of listening to the meeting for what seemed like forever.
