Firepaw frowned when she heard her name called for a patrol. Of course, her best friend Milkpaw would be there with her, and this “Pignut” whoever that was, but Ashclaw would also be there. And she really did not like Ashclaw. The way he treated Milkpaw, his own son, was disgustingly abhorrent and she didn’t want to be anywhere near his presence.
However, Firepaw who had grown at least a little wiser did not bring this up at all when she walked to her patrolmates, glaring briefly in Ashclaw’s direction before leaning to try to nuzzle her friend. ”Let’s go Milky,” She said in a hushed tone, not wanting to draw the attention of the object of her disdain.
Cliffjumper checked if Leopardpaw and Rabbiteye were with him. "Fallownose?" The flame coloured tom meowed, "Thunderglade is marked. ThunderClan scent was there, with a faint scent of blood.(Blackfir's murder) Most likely a border scuffle. Otherwise, the patrol went well."

The diluted calico stood up, looking around. Slightly annoyed, she turned to Halfpaw. "Well, we can't just sit around here all day. Let's get going so we can return before dark" She decided before heading out, hoping Halfpaw would follow her. She didn't like having to leave without Smokethroat, but they couldn't wait around forever. If he decided to show up he could catch up with them at Twilight Falls.

Massive paws pounded the ground beneath with a happy step, Snowybreeze's expression much peppier than when he'd first set out with his patrol. It wasn't that he minded the company! Stars no! He loved the company. And Silentleap and Goldenpaw were both wonderful clanmates. He just... didn't feel very good about ordering others around, and it felt like a lot of a patrol leader's job was to order others around. It wasn't, he knew. He just had to make sure everything was done right. But there were such better cats for the job!
No matter, however! The patrol had gone without a hitch. With only one hitch. A few hitches. Look, he tried his best, and they brought the herbs! He was blessed to have been paired with such patient, kind hearted clanmates. StarClan knew if it hadn't been for them he would have just kept making mistake after mistake on his own. A wave of embarrassment crossed through him at the thought, but he quickly shook it off as he entered the clan's new camp - he would need to get used to the flowery, grassy place they now called home - and rushed to find one of the medicine cats, flicking his tail at his companions for them to follow. The herbs would not be any use to the healers unless they were handed to them, after all.
"Cowtuft. Here. We have. Found. A good. Amount. Of herbs," he whispered in a clipped, still self-conscious voice once he had deposited the bundle of herbs before the black and white tom, stepping back a little to ensure the others could deposit their find as well.
Trailing behind the two warriors, Goldenpaw dutifully placed down the burnet and dandelions he'd collected.
The young apprentice dipped his head to Cowtuft and stepped back alongside the others. Ugh, he could still taste the herbs in his mouth! To hide his grimace, Goldenpaw brought a paw up to groom, keeping his head ducked down.
