The sound of a fight was heard outside, and moments later the sound of paws as a huge kittypet was seen leaving with the corpse of a white kittypet tom in his mouth. Almost seconds later the sound of a cat being excited over meeting someone was heard.
Rosekit then stood up "Thank you Dawnstar, i understand" she said beofre walking away form her father figure not exactly mentor anymore huh
She then remembered that she allowed her to speak and turned around building up the courage "When i get promoted can i still have shadefrost as my mentor, thats my only request" she said now looking dawnstar in the eye mainly because she was across the room now and dawn couldnt slice her throat she though anyways but also becaise shade frost meant a lot to her and she wanted her point across
Rosekit then stood there waiting for a answer

Dawnstar narrowed her eyes at Rosekit's request, she had already told Shadefrost no and she wasn't the type to go back on her word, but at the same time fostering strong bonds in ShadowClan was necessary for clan stability. "I'll think about it." She growled, unhappily. The leader, done with talking about this, dismissed the pair with a sharp flicker of her ear.

She's given the clan some time to visit Elmshadow and recover before calling a meeting, but with the current mess and the recent news given to her, she had to call a meeting there was no waiting longer. The ShadowClan's leader's stomach wounds were still incredibly tender, and she still couldn't completely put her front paw on the ground without twangs of pain jolting through the puncture wound on her shoulder. Still, she made sure that such injuries didn't slow her down or make her look weak.
With the recent loss of her life hanging over her head and the realization that was brought it, Dawnstar felt more put together than ever. She no longer had to put on fronts and her bouts of laziness seemed to have finally drifted away. She had work to do, extra work thanks to some cats, and revenge to deal out. What had started as a game and way to relieve stress had turned into something more personal for Dawnstar, for ShadowClan itself.
Just like with WindClan, ThunderClan would learn one way or another that picking a fight with her was not going to end well. They could win fight after fight, battle after battle, it didn't mean or matter much to her. She just wanted their blood, their lives, their pelts, and their suffering and pain. Dawnstar always got what she wanted one way or another.
"ShadowClan, come gather under the Shadowledge for a Clan meeting." The leader roars, bunching her muscles and landing a little awkwardly due to her bad shoulder. She takes a seat at the edge of the ledge, quietly fuming.
[This takes place two days after the Battle for Sunkissed Creek]

Stars above, the shadow queen's mood seemed rather awful this day -- a bad omen to what was to be announced. Worried, the forever queen stepped out of the nursery, sitting down besides it's milk-scented entrance. There was a slight knit in her brows as Nightshiver silently awaited whatever potentially bad news might be announced.
