Mudkit wobbled unsteadily into the medicine cat's den, sniffling slightly. Whatever it was he had was making his already terrible balance many times worse, and he very nearly fell down several times before his round blue gaze spotted the brownish tabby pelt of Kestrelberry. He thought he was doing pretty well until he tripped over his own paws and fell backwards, luckily landing on his rear, the short stub of his tail moving subtly back and forth. The tiny brown tabby opened his mouth, preparing to speak when another cough wracked his body, and he bent his head down, still coughing. The pain it caused his throat was bad, and he wished only one thing; for it to be over. As it died down, he stared miserably at Kestrelberry, his eyes pleading.

Kestrelberry waved goodbye to Shiverlight, looking her in the eye. "And I mean it! Come back immediately if anything feels off with your paw!" Dipping his head to her, his ears perked at the sound of coughing. A worried look visible upon his face, and he turned around, eyes locked onto the kitten stumbling in. "Dear StarClan! Are you alright?" The kit clearly wasn't doing alright, and he gently lifted the kitten into his jaws by his scruff, and settled him down into a spare nest. "You don't seem to well." Pressing his ear to the kittens tiny chest, he looked at Mudkit with surprise. Well, it is Greencough season... Kestrelberry rasped his tongue over the kittens head soothingly, and he turned towards his store. Picking out catmint and gathering a swap of honey, he looked back towards the kit. "Well, he is a kitten..." He mumbled to himself quietly. Kestrelberry picked out a small dosage of Lambs Ear, and a tiny poppy seed. Picking up the bundle in an ivy leaf, he trotted back over to Mudkit. "Looks like you're sick! We'll need to get that taken care of, then." Nosing the small leaf of catmint over to the kitten, he dabbed the Lamb's Ear with the honey and nudged it over as well. The tiny poppy seed was still held on his pawpad, and he awaited for the kitten to take in the herbs he gave.

As Mudkit was lifted up and set down in a nest, he made no attempt to object, and once he was set down, he sat with his front paws slightly to the sides in order to keep himself from falling over if he coughed again. He waited patiently as Kestrelberry gathered up a bunch of plants that all looked quite the same at first glance, but upon second glance he picked up differences, but he was far too tired and feeling sick to really care, and, as Kestrelberry returned to the nest where Mudkit sat, but hadn't uttered a word. Realizing that if he was sick, that meant that maybe playing in the cold hadn't been the best idea, and, flicking his ears,he dismissed the idea. Looking up at the tom in front of him, then down at the funny looking plants and small black thing, he sneezed, and then, setting his mind to it so he wouldn't back down, he ate them as quickly as he could without choking, but had his nose wrinkled up the entire time as the smells and tastes hit him. They weren't exactly bad, but not great, and as he ate the last one, he was a small bit surprised as it was actually good. Swiping his tongue over his maw, he looked up, yawning, then coughing. “Kestrelberry, how long untill I get better?” he asked quietly, his voice sounding frailer thqn usual, even though his voice just naturally was rather frail.

Maplefall watched one of her kits, Mistkit, hitch a ride on an older apprentice. She smiled "Yes, they will be good warriors one day. Though Mudkit seems like a medicine cat apprentice to me. But I don't think Kestraberry need one."

She said, putting a pinecone a few pawsteps away from Mistkit. "now, move as close as you can to the pinecone in front of you without being too close, and pounce." she said. She knew the kit couldn't see that well, but she was hoping he could see the pinecone a little bit, since she didnt put it very far away. and if he couldn't then that was just something they could try and improve on. (sorry this was so long)

Mistkit changed his position into what Twilightpaw instructed and glee filled his eyes. "Your a great mentor!" He squealed happily, but fell silent when realised he was supposed to hunting, he put is paws carefully on the ground, not wanting to make a sound. His tail bobbed slightly, but it was hardly noticeable. The small grey kit curled into a ball and leaped through the air; power and strength propelling him forwards. His accuracy; however, was terrible, and he landed face first into the all of the den. "Ow......." He mewed, sadness in his huge, misty, Amber eyes. "Maybe we should go into the clearing? Not that it will make a difference." The tabby walked over to the pinecone and dug his unusually large claws into it. He sighed and turned to Twilightpaw. "I'll never be a good warrior, I can barely see in front of me and it gets worse every day!"

The russet queen dipped her head towards Sparrowblaze, "We always have time, no matter how young or old we are. I was 22 moons when I came here..." Maplefall trailed off, lost in the memories of when she was a rouge, and when she met Bumbleleap.

Reddenedkit flicked his tail and looked around, he saw older kits, Young kits, new mothers, old queens. He lay down and sighed. And I'll never be part of that...... the male calico / tortessshell thought, when he had been old enough to understand his father had told him he'd never have kits, as male cats like him were rare. His Amber eyes dropped to the floor. Now no one will ever want to be my mate...... Or freind, I'm too weird.

Badgerkit came hurdling into the nursery. Her mulit-color striped pelt glistening in the sunlight that streaked into the nursery. However, her small body ran into another kit. She rolled over onto her side and looked at the male toritshell/calico. She tilted her head. He was a bit larger than her, like most kits were. Her sister, Mirrorkit, and her were both unusually small, but their mother (NPC) told them that would grow to be strong warriors, which made Badgerkit want to practice everyday.

Reddenedkit mewed quietly, "umm.... Could you please..... Move? I'm abut stuck....." The kits cocked his head at the other kit, "umm.... By the way, I'm...... Reddenedkit. What's your name?" The small kit struggled slightly, then slid from under Badgerkit. He licked his fur down, which was stuck at odd angles. And twitched his tail. Oh no, she hates me doesn't she! Please, please don't hate me!

The tortissshell smiled, "I like your name, it makes you sound like a powerful warrior! While mine just sounds like bloodshed... Its not mothers fault though; she said it reminded her of her mother mother, red. And she was a good cat! Anyway, do you want to play with me?"
