Firelight’s paws still tingled with excitement and pride from her promotion. She entered the meeting as a warrior and left as a Lionheart, better than the rest of the Clan. Looking around the clearing—it felt different now, like she was in charge of the place—and saw Nightspark, another cat who’d been promoted, in the clearing alone. She should talk to him. He was more than a Clanmate now—he was a fellow Lionheart, and that meant something. “Hey, Nightspark,” she said, settling down next to him. “How are you feeling about being a Lionheart?” Nightspark had seemed doubtful during the meeting and seemed so now. It was like he didn’t want to be Lionheart, but if that were the case, he would’ve refused the offer. Maybe he was just modest—maybe Beanstar wanted modest cats like him to cancel out self-confident cats like her.

He didn't heard Firelight until she spoke, emerging from his thoughts, he turned the head with a bit of surprise toward his fellow Lionheart and nodded with a small smile to her hello, then he responded "It's... A new perspective... Beanstar had chosen me because he thinks I am worthy... But I don't feel like... But I accepted, it's because I want to help my clanmates even more and even harder, be a small torch in the dark around the light of Beanstar when the times are dark... I am a living shield for my clanmates... That's why I became Lionheart."

Beepaw wandered around the clearing, wondering what she should do. She glimpsed Lionpaw and started walking over. His bravado had annoyed her before but after talking to him at the gathering she was starting to warm up to him.
"Hi. Do you want to hang out?" she mewed.

Lionpaw was splayed out belly-up on some rock, enjoying the way the sun warmed his thick yellow fur. It was so peaceful out today, and the quiet chatter of his clanmates merged together into a muffled lullaby. He was just about to fall asleep when some feline called out to him. "Wha-?" Lionpaw rolled over to look at the cat who dared disturb his naptime.

It was just Beepaw. This she-paw didn't seem to get on his nerves as easily as others. Plus, if things went well he could rub it in Springpaw's face. He didn't need her help making his own friends, after all!

"Oh, I guess so... I haven't got anything better to do," he mewed lazily, standing up to stretch. "What did you have in mind?"

Kestrelpaw tilted her head, her gaze far of. Her warrior assessment was coming soon. She was almost there. Just a couple lessons more... would she and Birdpaw get to become warriors together? She hoped so... would they do their assessments together? Probably not.. she'd have to go and talk to Nightspark and Gingerfrost about that.

Speaking of lessons, she still needed some fine tuning with battle techniques. Not that they were bad; she just spent more time dodging and rolling around than actually landing hits. She didn't have a problem with it- Nightspark had taught her and let her figure out how she wanted to fight after all. But it would be good to verse herself in all areas.

SHe looked around the clearing, murmuring to herself. Who should she ask? She wanted someone other than Nightspark or Gingerfrost. Hmm... oh!

Snowbeak was the one she was looking for. She trotted over, hoping that her enthusiasm would make him think twice about turning her away. "Snowbeak, do you have time? I wanted some pointers about offensive techniques, and I was wondering if you could monitor me?"

Having been lounging by himself on the edge of the clearing, Snowbeak was working on smoothing down the last patch of pale gray fur. It got rather finicky near the base of his tail, and being twisted around so much made him a bit sick. But luckily the tom pulled through and gave a satisfied grin as he finally managed to make all of his fur lie flat.

Having been pulled into the rather momentous task had his ears turned off to the sound of approaching paws, but a familiar voice lifted his head and perked his ears. Kestrelpaw! He recalled the young she-cat from the border skirmish with WindClan. He gave her a wide grin, listening to her question. She wanted battle pointers? Well, he didn't think of himself as the Clan's greatest fighter by any means, but he certainly knew how to use his claws when required. A bobbing of his head confirmed a yes and he got to his paws, looking to the entrance of camp and back again with a questioning gaze. Shortly after, he lifted a paw to place it back on the ground, asking if she would rather go out into the territory to practice or remain here in camp.
