The female smiled, "Well, I like it, and sure!" she yipped bouncing up and down now. "I don't have any siblings yet, but my mother is expecting another kit soon, so I get pretty bored," she admitted.

"Your luck, i have three siblings, i love them but they always take over my games!" The tortissshell tom pouted, but he perked up quickly. "What do you want to play? Maybe we could make a clan, ill be Reddenedspirit, and you could be Badgerstar. Ill be your loyal deputy!" Reddendekit was getting pumped up now, "What should the clan be called?"

The russet queen dipped her head towards Sparrowblaze, "We always have time, no matter how young or old we are. I was 22 moons when I came here..." Maplefall trailed off, lost in the memories of when she was a rouge, and when she met Bumbleleap.

She nodded, understanding. At least, she thought she understood. "What...what do you mean you came here at 22 moons?" They two she-cats had only recently become friends, and Sparrowblaze was yet to learn of Maplefall's backstory.

Mistkit changed his position into what Twilightpaw instructed and glee filled his eyes. "Your a great mentor!" He squealed happily, but fell silent when realised he was supposed to hunting, he put is paws carefully on the ground, not wanting to make a sound. His tail bobbed slightly, but it was hardly noticeable. The small grey kit curled into a ball and leaped through the air; power and strength propelling him forwards. His accuracy; however, was terrible, and he landed face first into the all of the den. "Ow......." He mewed, sadness in his huge, misty, Amber eyes. "Maybe we should go into the clearing? Not that it will make a difference." The tabby walked over to the pinecone and dug his unusually large claws into it. He sighed and turned to Twilightpaw. "I'll never be a good warrior, I can barely see in front of me and it gets worse every day!"

Twilightpaw walked over to Mistkit and touched her nose to his forehead. "It's okay. we just need to work on your accuracy. You'll be a great warrior one day. Try to follow the pinecone's scent when you pounce, so you can pounce more accurately." She said, moving the pinecone to a different spot in front of Mistpaw.

Leaves rustled as Shadethistle pushed her way out of the warrior's den and stopped halfway out to give a good, long stretch. Then, with a quick shake of her pelt, she trotted out into the open. Snow crunched beneath her paws, turning the pads to ice, so she picked up her pace and hurried over to the apprentices' den. She thrust her head inside, ignoring the prickers scraping her ears, and gave a low yowl to wake the sleeping bundles inside. Didn't matter to her if she woke up all the cats in the den, just so long as her apprentice got the message.

With a quick several steps back, the black-and-white queen settled herself in a sunny spot to give her ears a washing as she waited.

Empathy woke with a start, she bounced out of the den, noticing her mentor. "Shadethistle!" She squealed, "What are we learning today?"

Shadethistle flicked her gaze briefly over to her apprentice, twitched her whiskers, and went back to washing her ears. Only after they were sufficiently clean did she turn her attention to her apprentice. "I figured we'd go practice your hunting skills," she decided. "Hunting in snow can be difficult, especially if you have trouble crossing the drifts--which I'm sure you will." She flicked her tail against Empathypaw's legs for emphasis.

The warrior narrowed her eyes for a moment then purred and stood to give each paw a shake. "Right, then, let's go." With a decisive flick of her ears, she set off towards the camp entrance.
