Kane's Life with Poppy { p }

Kane tapped the steering wheel as he drove his red car to his home. He wondered if Poppy was home or not. Even if she wasn't, that was alright. He pulled up into the driveway and got out of his car. Kane locked his car, unlocked his front door, entered the house, and relocked the door.

Poppy sat on the couch reading a book in the living room, near the door entrance and hadn't heard Kane enter.

Kane spotted Poppy reading a book and decided to pretend that she wasn't there. He walked silently to his room that he shared with, out his stuff down, and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Poppy checked her watch and went to her room to put up her book. She heard somone in the shower. "W-who's there!?" She said, a bit freaked out.

Kane fired up the shower and began it when, after he had washed his hair and moved on to his body, he heard Poppy ask who was there, her voice panicked. Kane felt bad for tricking his soon-to-be wife, and quickly finished his shower.

"It's just me, Poppy!" He called through the door as he dried himself off.

Poppy smiled, giving him a kiss on the cheek as well before he left, and went into the bathroom. She pulled up her long wavy black and green hair into a ponytail and washed her hands. She decided to keep her contacts in and went to make the sides.
