Sharpclaw - The Grumpy One
ThunderClan | Warrior | He/Him | 13 moons
Sharpclaw didn't have to turn around to notice his new apprentice already tripping over herself. He sighed heavily through his nose, eyes squeezed shut as the she-paw began to speak. What did she just say? His head was... average-sized? What did that even mean? Was she calling him stupid?!
The sandy warrior opened his mouth to scold the little brat when she suddenly turned and whipped her bushy tail in his face. He sputtered through a muzzle of lynx-pointed fur before swatting the offending tail away. "Listen here brat, I'll take ya trainin' when I'm good 'n ready!"
"But first," he curled his lip, exposing a white fang, "Ya need to learn yourself how to walk. How can ya expect to be a decent warrior when ya keep trippin' on your own two paws?" He took a moment to glare at said paws before looking back up at her, amber eyes narrowing. "And learn yourself some manners while you're at it!" With that he turned away, tail lashing silently behind him as he took his original seat, ears focused on what Bumblestar had to say.
It sounded like two Hornet positions were up for grabs. Sharpclaw never thought much about ranking up. He was quite satisfied playing his role as a warrior and didn't see the point in trying to go the extra mile. Then he heard a bunch of idiots shouting, no, begging to be made a Hornet. He was definitely surprised to hear Ghostpaw ask for the role as well. He shook his head in a mixture of disbelief and disappointment.
Those morons couldn't wait until after the meeting? Obviously, Bumblestar wouldn't pick a replacement right then and there without even interviewing them first. And if she did then Sharpclaw would have to rethink if she was such the right pick for leader. He couldn't stand the idea of some dumbass being made a high rank just because they asked nicely for it. That position had to be earned. He didn't want another Cough- Alderstep useless, lazy idiot to be given such an honorable title.
He decided right then that he would give Bumblestar a visit after the meeting. It couldn't hurt to try and offer himself as a potential candidate- if only to prevent some other mouse brain from filling the spot. Maybe then others would see him for more than just some grouch. He ought to do more to provide for his clan than just hunt, patrol, sleep, repeat anyways. He did the same thing all day every day and it was time for a dang change! He made a note in his mind to visit the leader when she was available. He wasn't one to interrupt a meeting unless it was important, unlike a few certain loudmouths.
A striped ear swiveled in Wildtwist's direction. What was he pulling his tail about? Apprentices couldn't leave the camp without a warrior chaperone anyway so there'd be no need to send a whole patrol to look after them. The apprentice would have to be dumber than rocks to fall into a hole that big anyways. He shot a side-eyed glance at his apprentice again. He grimaced, imagining her tumbling straight into one of those holes as soon as she caught sight of one. If she were dumb enough for that to happen though she was on her own. He wasn't going to just jump on in and rescue her for her to fall right back in again.
Just then another cat shouted out within the clearing. Some tabby apprentice this time. His ear twitched, and he brought a paw up to rub at his head. All this yelling was going to give him a serious headache later. He was ready for this dang meeting to end. Bumblestar had asked the clan if they had any questions. He sure as hell didn't. Sharpclaw grumbled quietly to himself, waiting for Bumblestar to address the group of idiots that decided to nominate themselves right in the middle of the meeting.
Plumkit - The Mischievous One
ThunderClan | Kit | He/Him | 1 moon
Purrmanent Purrks: Agatha Kitty
Plumkit still ignored whatever that big cat was saying. He was too engrossed in defeating the evil snake tail in front of him! He did perk an ear at the mention of hornets though. Wasn't that a bug? Why would anyone want to be an icky bug? He giggled at the thought before returning his attention to the waving tail. He'd had enough of fighting the imaginary snake. Now the lilac kitten had a craving for ankles~

Ghostpaw huffed. "I have four paws, not two. Can you count?" she muttered, as the sandy warrior departed from her. She padded off as well, going to first talk to Bumblebeestar (?) then to go and take a stroll through the territory.
She swivelled her head, scenting the air to get a hint of the direction to the leader's den, then headed away, lynx-pointed ears flat against her skull, and her fur slightly ruffled.
She blinked in surprise as a very angry-looking Brokenpaw came up to her mid-meeting. “Are you alright, Brokenpaw?” she asked her apprentice, her scarred face softening. Brokenpaw needed to learn how to express her emotions. With someone or not. “I was thinking I could show you the territory after this meeting.” she suggested. Okay, she wasn’t actually thinking it, she just wanted to get her apprentice to feel a bit better. Other cats would’ve said, ‘She’s your apprentice, not your daughter!’. Even so, she wanted Brokenpaw to feel better
Seems Mudhound was granted their new and patented Lotuspaw sun protection visor at just the right time as they now had a perfect view of Bumble-sis giving some pretty important announcements! The hornet thing was..... was. Nothing much to say on that but Mudhound hoped Sootfur was doing well it was good he was smart enough to know when to quit it before things got bad or something. All the other cats piping up at the meeting however..... The warrior didnt really approve of that. Now didnt seem the time, the warrior had taken Bumblestars words as they were going to go around later and talk about this later but here was cats piping up. It didnt make sense even to a warrior with little of that, if you stood out as hornet material Bumblestar would have you in mind already and if you didnt and wanted to express interest/intent wouldnt it be best to do it in private? Saves your pride in front of the clan (that was important to other cats right?) if you do get passed over and it shows youre like smart and mature right? Brave to do it in person and private to a leader so she can give personal feedback.... At least that was what Mudhound thought and assumed and didnt voice. It was a smart thought but not one the warrior was too sure of, not being a really smart cat.
Whatever it wasnt their business, it was Bumblestars and Mudhound didnt have an opinion on the hornets and being one or others being one either way. Life and stuff like this would happen and pass and move on as it always did.
The sinkhole however was another matter, the tripod HAD to explore that later it sounded so cool! Maybe not bring Lotus-honey first trip though, Wildtwist may have a point about the dangers.
Besides, Mudhound did have a question for the leader! "OH! Oh, Me! I have a question! Whats the plan for the shadowclan war thing?
Like obviously training and not letting anyone know where the camp is, Im planning a fighting event, but do we have any other plans? Theyre not just gonna quit and stop being mean so are we waiting for them to make the first move or is there something we should do or know to be ready?"

She sighed, thankful for the feeling stuff’s disappearance. Though, a small lump of guilt rest in her stomach, as if she had not actually finished it. As if she hadn’t finished the feeling stuff. However, she ignored this and went on. “I’ll show you Sunkissed Creek, first.” she meowed, her tone harder than she had intended
Fawnpaw listened, mumbling, "Hornets..?" in confusion. She'd have to ask Nightgaze about that.
@dino. @The Doctor
Nightgaze bounded up quickly to her new apprentice she hadn't heard it at first but she did now smiling happily she greeted Fawnpaw "Hiya! So I guess I'm your new mentor now hope we'll make a good team!" she mewed excitedly.

"Great! Also, what's a Hornet? Is it a rank?" Fawnpaw asked, running in circles around Nightcloud because of how happy she was. "Are you gonna teach me to hunt? Fight? Care for kits?" She asked quickly. She normally wasn't this talkative, but this is a new environment and she wanted to know everything.

Nightgaze smiled happily it seemed this cat matched her energy "Hornets are very important warriors and you have to be like a really good warrior to become one!" she mewed energetically also kinda trotting about happily "Yes hunt and fight and be an awesome warrior! Don't know about caring for kits though that's a queen's job" she told Fawnpaw quickly.
