Moons sighed, relieved she left. Only a few minutes away from playtime, he went up into his room to get ready. He looked in the mirror, admiring his features. Suddenly, one of his pupils turned purple and his head hurt again. “W-what the?..” he said, putting a hand to a spot near his eye with a purple pupil. A sharp pain as if somebody had shot him. His head. It was his head that hurt. He screamed in pain, muffling his mouth when he heard the loudness. The hurt left and his pupil returned to normal. He sat in a corner, shocked. He sighed, hearing the kids, he smiled, trying his best to mask his unease. He jumped into the ball pit and quickly scurried over to the lights turning them on. A kid asked him if Moon okay, the others behind him. “We heard him screaming..” the boy finished, concern clear as day in his tone

Sun blinked in surprise. Screaming? Why was Moon screaming. He quickly made up a lie. “It’s okay, you all, Moon just saw the mess I made in the new room with glitter glue!” he chuckled, a bit concerned. Sun hadn’t actually made a mess, but that still leaves the question. “So, kids, how would you like to play hide and seek?” Sun asked energetically, trying to distract the children. And Cassie. As the kids cheered, obviously excited. He did bubble gum in a dish until their seeker was found. “Everyone hide! Harriet, you count to twenty!” he yelled, slowly sliding into the ball pit as to not make any noise. He went under the bridge, the silence making him think about the screaming way too much. Why the heck did he suggest this game?

After the daycare closed and Sun said goodbye to the last child that had stayed a while longer, Sun cleaned up the place, satisfied at the barrels stacking just as they used to. He turned to Cassie. “Who do you wanna see, Eclipse, Moon, or yours truly?” he asked, bowing as if a show had just reached its end

Eclipse cautiously wrapped his arms around her, careful not to touch a broken bone. “How was today? Tell me all about it!” he said, pulling back from Cassie and letting go, his smile more small and calm but he was definitely pleased to see his old friend, Cassie
