Maybe the kit couldn't talk, but that was ok, Pebblepaw was more than happy not to talk, the action often stressful when they didn't know what they should say. Being quiet was easier, more comfortable. Smiling down at the young cat, they relaxed just a little bit more, perhaps feeling almost as at ease as with their brother or parents. This kid was good, really sweet, they just hoped their family approved of their new little friend.

Mudhound was late! Well not late late, Bumble-sis hadnt started actually doing announcements yet but the tripod was seemingly one of the last cats to gather up for the meeting. Most were there and with an approving warm eye Mudhound noted that Lotus-honey was all cuddled up with her chosen kin. Good, she'd felt enough pain recently that try as they might Mudhound couldnt wipe clean. Lotus-honeys family could do that better and this meeting seemed to be the perfect place for that to occur.


Still the large warrior couldnt help but do a drive by lick of the head as they went to find their own sitting spot. @jupiter


Actually... there was a certain someone Mudhound wanted to sit next to today. Where was Drizzlecloud! The maine coon mix had been meaning to spend time with her, she'd been so nice and helpful when the warrior was new to being home and confused! She didnt seem to like the tripods volume but that wasnt her fault, they just needed to be quieter like how Mudhound had to be softer around Sprucepaw. Some cats required different things and all. But back on topic, making proper friends with Drizzlecloud! That little incident in the medicine cats den had reminded them of what they'd forgotten and now with things a little calmer (not totally not by a long shot) operation 'Herb cat friend!' was a go!


So, dropping by the medicine cats den Mudhound stuck their large head in grinning sunnily. "Heya Drizzle! Its a meeting time again, lets hope its a calm one this time hehe! Wanna sit together? My furs kinda a mess and Id love to share tongues a bit while we listen and chit chat!" Honestly the warrior was pretty excited about the idea and it showed with their wagging tail and chirpy voice. "If that sounds fun to you of course, no pressure I promise!"

It was because he'd been asleep. That's why he was late. Alderstep shook one last scrap of moss from his fur as he trotted out of the warriors' den. He blinked the sleep out of his eyes as he took a blind seat wherever - it didn't matter to him. If he'd been different, he'd have deep, dark circles under his eyes. But he was a cat, and so he looked up at Bumblestar with a hooded gaze, fur dully unkempt and messy. Sleep had been stubbornly avoiding him the past few nights, and it was simultaneously getting on his nerves and wearing him down.

Tansyjaw had taken a bit longer to compose herself than usual, and was therefore slightly tardy to the meeting. However, that didn't mean she was self-conscious as she strode out of the elder's den, taking a seat proudly in the center of the crowd. She held her head high, her large frame making her look quite imposing, like the queen she was. At first glance she hadn't seen her family members, she would have to ensure they showed up at some point, but was content simply to watch Bumblestar as their leader took her perch above the heads of the clan. Bumblestar saw only one of the new arrivals join the gathered cats below, and her tail twitched irritably. What was the point of coming to ask to join and accepting the offer if they weren't even going to show up? The kit could be excused, but the grown-ass cat she'd put a bit of faith in was aggravating.

"Right, first things first. Couple of new faces with us today." She glanced at Asterpaw specifically, seeing as he was the only one present. "Aster there is joining us as Asterpaw [ @FrostyGalaxy ]. I'll be taking over his training.

"We also have Bat, coming to us as Batkit [ @FruitBat ]. Queens, I need you to keep an eye on him as you would any other kit. I don't see him here right now, so just keep an eye out, please. Not in the mood to track down missing kits.

"Lastly..." She leaned down to squint. Ugh, still not there. "HAWK!" [ @Sklee ] she barked, gaze sweeping over the rest of the camp. "If you're not over here in the next ten seconds, you'll no longer have a place in ThunderClan!"

How hard was it to be on time?

Asterpaw blinked. Bumblestar would be personally overseeing his training?! What had he done to deserve such an honor as the clans leader training him personally? Swelling with pride, the young siamese sat even straighter, his head held high, and cautiously glanced out of his peripherals, trying to gauge the reactions of the clan to this news.
