Lightningpelt sighed, broken. His mate was gone. Mothflight. His mothflight. And now he was a rule breaker. Threatening everything he and his kit had been rebuilding. For a rumor. A rumor that his mate survived the attack and was living on the outskirts. He closed his eyes, and could almost smell that familiar cinnamony smell of her fur, see the twitch of her whiskers when she was aggitated, the pride when her kits were born from her own flesh. He heard a crackle and emmediately shifted to a fighting stance."Who goes there?!" He called, hissing.

Mothflight was exploring the woods, her white fur dirty and messed up. She growled when she heard someone. Slowly she made her way to where the voice came from and saw the cat. "What are you doing near my territory?" She growled, hissing at the cat.

He growled, not seeing the cat yet, his senses attuning themselves to the environment, when he turned and pounced, where he heard an odd crackle of noise, and found himself face to face with her. His breath hitched. Her pelt, her scent, her ferocity, all of it was moth,"Moth?" He asked, voice breaking,"That you?"

Lightningpelt nodded, stunned,"It's me, moth. It's me." He wanted to tackle her and yowl to starclan his thanks. His mate was not dead."Are you ok?" He didn't want to approach in case she wasn't used to contact with other cats and reacted badly.
