Red Queen RP [TW: Gore and violence]

Waylen nodded at being corrected by the pirate, now sitting with his legs to his chest. He eyed the ground, unsure wether to run or not. Doubt was churning in his stomach. He’d be hurt for sure, he’d be killed for falling for a fake act that was.. so desirable to have in real life.

He got up without the help of Calico and left the half-eaten apple on the floor. He looked at them, blue eyes shining with just disbelief. “This is an act, right?” he asked, ready to bolt in the other direction as to escape them.

He suddenly noticed the small boy next to him. He was a Red, too. He looked like he was eleven or thirteen.. definitely younger than Waylen. “Hey, what’s your name?” he asked, kneeling down as to reach his height.

Maverick's face turned white as paper when the Silver waved at him. He stepped back, pulling his shirt just a little bit higher. He was about to run, about to flee, about to scream, about to do something, but he once again froze as somebody else kneeled down next to him.

Maverick screwed his eyes shut, holding onto the collar of his shirt with white-knuckled grip, fearing the sight he would behold if he opened his eyes - and then somebody asked his name. In a panic, and an attempt to not be murdered by whoever - or whatever - stood before him, so he complied with its request.

"M-M-Mav-Maverick..."

Waylen extended a hand in greeting. “I’m Waylen, I’m a Red, too.” he said kindly, intending to calm Maverick

He carefully picked his way out of the small home (could it even be called a home? Yes. A house? No.), brushing a strand of his messy, tangled black hair out of his greyish blue eyes. What the boy's eyes were immediately drawn to, was the small gathering at the riverside. A Red... a pirate... and... a Silver.

He shuddered, eyes widening.

But the Silver didn't appear to be hurting the Red - no, she was helping him! And so was the pirate. Maverick's head cocked, and he found his legs (without consulting his mind, as usual) taking him to the trio. Nonononononono wait-

But he was already there.

Luckily, he was rather small and skinny - maybe the odd group wouldn't notice him. He really, really hoped they wouldn't. He pulled the collar of his oversized shirt over the bottom half of his face, so only his eyes were visible.

They/them - An average heightened person with long silky dark brown hair, tan skin and one deep brown eye and one amber eye. They have lots of freckles and they wear a red long sleeve collared shirt with a black and red corset and black pants and boots. They have dark brown wolf ears and a dark brown wolf tail. - The Pirate Thief - Half Silver/Half Red - Nymph

Waylen was a bit bored, no offense, he didn’t doubt the people surrounding him were interesting, for sure, but now that he knew he didn’t have to fight for his life.. whatever.

“So.. your thoughts on the queen?” he asked, awkwardly trying to start a conversation.

"Mother is... ruthless. I'm one big reason why she is almost never happy, because I don't like the way she rules. But it's not like I can do anything about it. I'm sure she'll have my head chopped off before I reach the age of 25, which is less than five years, worryingly, if I don't start acting like a Silver. But I'm sure my cousins and half sisters are keeping me alive. Being royalty is not easy... what about you?"
