Cherrypaw felt like she couldn't breathe. Seeing her ear tip on the ground was horrifying. She didn't hear Springpaw at all, she was freaking out too much, still itching her ear in a panic, getting her ear even more worse.
Her green eyes, widened with fear, spotted the moss and Jupiter berry dropped near her, and the apprentice looked up, tears in her eyes. Drizzlecloud was talking she realized, telling her to eat the berry, adding it would help her calm down.
Still crying and panicking badly, Cherrypaw almost immediately scooped the berry into her jaws and chewed it quickly. She shook her head slightly, flinging blood everywhere before lying her head down, still crying, her entire body shaking.
She glanced up at the medicine cat, who was talking again. She has missed quite a lot of what Drizzle has said, but she did catch that she wanted to know what happened. And... the look in the med cat's eyes. She's... worried for me...
That alone made the tortoiseshell she-cat cry harder.

Leafpaw blinked slowly trying to clear her poor vision at the moment but it didn't give much relief. Everything around and in front of her was blurry, it was hard to tell what was what. She hadn't even noticed Springpaw approaching her until she saw a multi-colored blur. She was certain that wasn't normal or okay in any shape or form. The siamese mix barely understood what was said to her, something about leaning. Oh yeah, she could do that, it was getting harder to stay upright and walk. So she did just that, as soon as the older apprentice came to her side she put her entire weight against them. She might have been putting on too much weight but she didn't weigh that much anyway. Besides she was slowly losing strength to stay on her feet.
Another slow blink of her bright blue eyes as she looked ahead for a moment before trying to steal a glance at the cat beside her. A moss nest sounded good right about now. Along with a nice long nap, she was so tired even her body was telling her to sleep. Yet here she was idly fighting against it, something saying it wasn't a good idea to close her eyes right now. "where" she got one part of her question out, but her mind was a bit jumbled enough for her to complete it fully. "Lotus..?" the last bit coming out a bit mumbled eyes roaming the den trying to look for her sister. Leafpaw had to make sure her sibling was still alive and that fox hadn't hurt her enough to leave her to suffer a slow death. Yet if she worked her muddled brain further she would recall aid coming, so she had to have survived. If Lotuspaw didn't then she'd get herself exiled from this place just trying to go for Aldersteps blood.
She could not mentally handle the thought of her younger sister dying on her, nor any of her siblings. She had only fought so hard against those foxes so that they get it over with and Lotus wouldn't have to get hurt. "So...tired" came out breathless as she took each step with Springpaw to the nearest free moss bed. Why did it feel like it was taking forever to get off her feet, it was getting harder and harder to stand. Oh, look she finally found a green blob in front of her that must be a nest. With no hesitation she let herself lay down in the moss bed, melting into it like a puddle. At this point, she was still awake as she lay there, refusing to close her eyes. Leafpaw could feel another presence nearby, it had to be Drizzlecloud, no one else she could muster to think of. The apprentice continued to lay there as she just waited for whatever to come, she was too tired to think about anything.

Was this how it was for Sparrowfur when he had received his injury? Oh, how the tables turn. Ears perked at attention, he listens closely to Springpaw's words and nods in understanding, gently continuing to drag her along until he can get her settled into the open moss bed. Worried eyes rush over the barely conscious molly and he begins to clean the cuts on her face, gingerly licking away blood both wet and dry.
"You're doing great, Sparrowfur." He tells her as he goes about his business, moving to gently lick at her eyes in an attempt to force her awake. Just as she did for him. "Stay with me now. We can get through this too."
His attention turns to Sourpaw and he offers a sad smile. What a thing for an apprentice to see. Though he was a full fledged warrior, the death of his own mentor shattered his psyche more than anything else in the past few moons.
"Sourpaw, stay with Springpaw while I take care of Sparrowfur, okay? She may need your help."
And so he continues his work to keep Sparrowfur awake, white paws gently moving to apply pressure to the wound on her body to help stop the bleeding. It may hurt, but he knows it will end up helping. Need to get the bleeding under control!

She/Her - Trans MtF - Lesbian - 9 Moons - A small pale long furred cream she-cat with yellow eyes and a white heart spot on her cheek "YarrowCrest, I-I don't wanna leave SparrowFur!" SourPaw said. "What if I get back and she's..." The cream furred she-cat said, trailing off. 'and she's dead...' She finished off in thought.

The dull feeling of a rough tongue gripped Sparrowfur. Ah, so this is how he felt? Suppose what goes around comes around. She yelped weakly at the sudden pressure to her wounds, dazzling her eyes open to catch a glimpse at her teary eyed mate and her terrified apprentice. Poor Sourpaw.
---
"Just look at the pain you're causing! You could've so easily avoided this"
Ah. Back here again.
"Listen I'm getting quite fed up with you." she growled at, herself? Her reflection? This was all so so odd.
"But no you had to open yourself to Yarrowcrest. You had to let yourself worry over Sourpaw." It (She?) spat. But this time it, she? Whoever it was lunged
Sparrowfur squawked as she hit the ground, suddenly pinned she could make out more features. The cat seemed like her but, scrawnier? Bone thin. And crazy eyes. Not hers. Bright yellow. Odd.
Yellow eyed boney Sparrowfur had terrible breath though. Bad enough to make Sparrowfur slip back into a hazy state of consciousness

A swerve of relief rushed through the young calico as she watched the young molly lap up the borage-filled honey, a gentle smile worming its way to her lips. She was pleased that the young kit didn’t give out any sort of revolting reaction towards eating the bitter-tasting herbs. Although, that was probably due to the fact that they were dipped in the sweet golden nectar of honey, which easily overpowered the bitter taste of the purple-pink leaves. Drizzlecloud’s soft coaxing for the young kit may have been a part of that as well, as she had urged the young molly to eat the herbs so that she didn’t get any more sickly than how she already looked. Like Coldamber had told her moons ago, she didn’t want to risk any sort of pandemic on their paws, so it was best that they got the issue solved sooner than later.
“Good job, Beetlekit! That wasn’t so bad now, was it?” The calico praised, a purr echoing within her throat as she placed a snow-furred paw along the young kit’s shoulders, briefly patting at her shoulder blades before pulling away. “Now, you may be free to go. However, I would like for you to come straight back to this den in case you are starting to feel sick like this again, alright? We don’t want to risk you getting any of the other kits or even the queens sick.” She gave the young kit a toothy smile before beckoning her off with a forepaw, gently nudging her towards the entrance of the medicine den. Hopefully some cranky queen wasn’t going to scorn the young kit all just for feeling a cold or from taking a visit to the medicine den. Springpaw wouldn’t feel praised by that if that was going to be the case.

Nightgaze did what Drizzlecloud said a leaned onto the medicine cat for support as she limped over to a moss nest and slowly lowered herself into it wincing as sharp pain shot up her injured leg.
Turning her shocking bright green eyes back the medicine cat the small black she-cat immediately started talking again "Thanks Drizzle" she mewed gratefully still cheerful her current state didn't seem to affect her personality much as she was still giving everybody nicknames.
Ah now a serious question tilting her head to the side Nightgaze thought for a minute before replying "Well my claws are a bit sore...hmm think one's been ripped out...yeah they got caught in the pelt of this mangy Shadowclanner" she muttered causally pausing as she glanced at her forepaw where a claw had obviously been lost in the battle.
…And then they had yet another visitor. One who reeked of foxes and blood. Well, three visitors, actually–but you get the point. Her usually calm expression was overthrown by that of rage, an emotion that she rarely ever expressed outwardly–what had Alderstep been thinking? Had this patrol gone well at all? Where even WAS he? If she didn’t know any better, she would’ve stormed out of the den to go and lay into him… But Bumblestar had probably already done that, and additionally, Alderstep probably felt awful about this whole situation already.
Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she scooped up a wad of moss with one of her paws, noting what Springpaw had told her. She was quick with her motions before she was rushing over to the trio, gently urging Sourpaw a few steps away so that she could assess the damage. The sight made her gawk, her throat closing up for a moment–or maybe it was Yarrowcrest’s undying concern for his mate that was making her feel all emotional. It was nice to see love like that. Whatever, not the point.
“Sourpaw, kiddo? It’ll be okay, we’ll get her all fixed up, I promise. Could you take a step back, maybe two, just to give us a bit of space?” She asked, voice gentle and reassuring to the frightened apprentice. “Mark my words, okay? We’ll fix her.”
[ @eris @the.lemon.witch @boo! @spookywynds sorry this response is like.. Really bad. Can I get a description of Sparrow’s wounds? I couldn’t find the form for it anywhere ]
The voice of Spiderthroat caught her attention–well, that, and the overwhelming scent of blood and foxes that she had become so accustomed to today. Her nose scrunched up in slight distaste at the scent, but she batted away at the thought before her face returned to it’s usual neutral expression. “Coming,”
The sight that awaited her was.. Something, that’s for sure. Stars above, did everyone get absolutely mauled during these patrols?“Put them down in some moss beds for me, would you? You can settle down somewhere too, but I’m going to tend to them first–”
She was already darting off to grab some supplies before she could wait and see if Spiderthroat would do as advised. There was no point–he had already carried them all the way back home, so of course he’d put them down in moss beds, she knew that much. As she scrounged up a wad of moss, two heads of marigold, some cobwebs and a poppy-head, she came bumbling back towards the trio. Dropping her supplies, her gaze darted towards Spiderthroat.
“You know how to take care of business, yeah?” A rhetorical question. “I’m gonna work on Rainfall first, please, try to stop or at least minimize Mudhound’s bleeding. You can use some of the cobwebs I’ve hauled out here, or you can go and grab some more from the storage–please, Spiderthroat.”

A frown practically etched its way towards her lips as Springpaw watched the young tom-kit’s face transmit into a mixture of both unease and pain. Poor thing, it's not like Springpaw can really blame him for feeling like that. To be quite honest, she’d feel the same way if she felt some stinging poultice be smothered onto her inflamed stings if she bore any. “Don’t worry,” she ushered, giving the young tom a smile, “The agony is almost over. I just have to apply some dandelion onto it to help ease the stinging and then you will be free to go,” Springpaw assured, glancing down towards her snow-furred paw where she continued to gingerly rub the ointment into the inflamed area, watching as the lime green paste made the crimson red skin slowly turn into a bright, baby pink hue. Well, at least that’s a good sign other than the area remaining swollen and infected for the rest of this poor kit’s life.
Pulling her paw away, she carefully drew it along the dampened moss to clean off the excess paste so that it didn’t remain on her and begin to stick to her skin like the sticky honey from a honeycomb. Afterwards, the dilute calico eyed the dandelion that rested beside herself as it awaited to be used, carefully grasping it with a forepaw as she brought it over towards the inflamed area, using her paw to gently squeeze the yellow bloom, a white, almost clear liquid slowly seeping out from the flower and slowly dripping onto the area itself, seeping into the skin. “This should help the area heal up from the sting. In case you start to feel any sort of pain again after a while, let me know and I will handle it.” Springpaw pulled the wrinkled herb away after she let it remain there for a few seconds, glancing towards the area before setting the bloom aside, giving the young tom a short smile before beckoning towards the entrance of the tree that he was finished and free to leave. ‘Try not to get yourself stung again, alright? Don’t want you to risk hurting yourself again from just some bees being a pain in the tail.”
