Shadow was often considered the outcast, her strange pelt often gave her an otherworldly appearance, at least that's what others told her. Well, she scrambled sloppily up a tree, something that was taught to her by her now deceased mother, and sat upon a branch, looking down and grooming herself ever so carefully.

Grimstar, irked with the lack of cats returning to camp, was on his way out of the camp to call for the lot back that was until he noticed the kitten in camp. It wasn't Bugkit... A little confused, the large black tom padded over and attempted to poke the small thing with one of his huge paws. "Hey, kit, where'd you come from?"

There was a stranger in his trees?! A bit harder to see with such a dark pelt, but Grimstar scents and sighted her nonetheless. "Hey, stranger, out of the tree." The Clan leader called up, planting his huge front paws against the trunk of the tree the she-cat was in. He was tempted to climb up and swat the cat out of the tree himself but then thought better. No need for broken bones or anything like.

*Twig woke up instantly with a startle, he was still a little bit oozy but he noticed the bigger cat overshadowing him, and eventually processed the words*
"I- well- Its- I" *He stuttered. struggling to explain himself, he took a breath and tried again,
"I'm from the barn.. ish- I mean I used to live in the barn for a while then I didn't- " *He caught himself realizing he was blabbering* "I'm from outside, I was wondering if I could stay here..? please?" He pleaded, hoping the cat would accept him*

Really? She was stopped mid groom when another cat was walking below the tree. "Hmm?" She murmured softly as the fellow black cat stared directly at her, sheesh, his orange eyes were like staring into pools of fire. "And who might you be?" It was obvious that he had seen her, "And why should I? You might try to kill me." Caution. That was one of the last words her mother left her with. "I ain't coming down without good reason, sir."

RoseLight padded forward, her niece/goddaughter padding behind her. She looked ahead as SageKit whine about being bored and her paws hurting. "We'll be there soon, sweetheart..." RoseLight purred. She frowned. Her goddaughter was so much like SageWhisker. Tears prickled her eyes as she walked, think of her dead sister and kits.

SageKit padded next to her godmother, bored as ever. She was tired, hungry, bored and her paws hurt. "I'm bored, Auntie RoseLight! And my paws hurt!" She whined, padding with her godmother. Auntie RoseLight kept saying they would be there soon but she didn't even know what there was!
