Hawkbite gave a small smile of amusement, but relief when she opened back up towards him. "You'll be big like me one day, don't you worry," He spoke softly, offering the tiny she-cat a smile. She looked up at Uncle Hawky as he spoke. Mothkit stared up at his eyes. He was really big. But one day she will be bigger? "Big as you? Yay!" She purred, trying to catch the tongue.
Hawkbite's green hues widened for a moment, thinking the little she-kit was going to snag his tongue. Thankfully, he pulled it away before she could. The Enforcer followed her response with a small chuckle though. "Yes, one day you'll be bigger. Maybe you'll even have your mama's fluff and look even bigger!" Hawkbite spoke, the thought of Woollyfeather crossing his mind for a moment. He'd had seen her in a while, he was starting to worry for the she-cat, but this wasn't the time to fret about that now.
Hawkbite's green hues widened for a moment, thinking the little she-kit was going to snag his tongue. Thankfully, he pulled it away before she could. The Enforcer followed her response with a small chuckle though. "Yes, one day you'll be bigger. Maybe you'll even have your mama's fluff and look even bigger!" Hawkbite spoke, the thought of Woollyfeather crossing his mind for a moment. He'd had seen her in a while, he was starting to worry for the she-cat, but this wasn't the time to fret about that now.
Mothkit hissed when she missed the tongue. She stared at Uncle Hawky. "Uncle Hawky, will I be a great warrior when I grow up?" She asked, curled up in her Uncle's paws, she started to get sleepy...
Her mouth clamped shut at the warrior's response, unsure of what to say. Not everything is about protecting and hunting?? Oh of coooourse, how could she forget? One must not forget about grooming each other's fur and sharing secrets! Playing stupid games and chatting about nothing are soooo important to the survival of the clans! Had she not been so angry, Cloverpaw might've even let Rattail enjoy the sassiest of eye rolls she could muster. However her eyes seemed to be locked in a permanent glare, staring darkly at her senior.
It was a moment or two later when she finally opened her jaws again."What are the basics of a good hunter? Should I focus on agility or stealth more? Is it better to kill prey with a bite or a slash? How much prey should one catch before returning to camp?" She had decided to push their previous conversation away, no point in wasting her breath on it. Not when he had just offered her some valuable knowledge. Hopefully he could keep up... A voice in the back of her head giggled darkly.
He gave a soft chuckle at the speed of the others questions. Before giving an answer he first gives a question for the apprentice to think about before dropping the topic
"What do you think would happen to a clan if all the members didnt care for their clanmates happiness?"
Based on his tone it was obvious he wasnt actually expecting an answer, just giving a hypothetical. Rattail stood up and stretched out.
"What's the point in answering those questions if you dont know the positioning, Each animal has slightly different ways to hunt. How about some training? Assuming you dont have any patrols or anything you need to be doing with your mentor soon"
Glowingkit rolled over onto his back with a sigh, staring up at the darkening clouds. He had been considering trying to find and bother his father for a while, but he felt he would only be an intrusion. Deputy duties, and all.
Still didn't feel great.
He turned back to his belly and let his chin slump against the ground, eyes tracking a yellow ladybug that had just landed. The creature pittered about in a small circle before creeping onto one of his paws. "Least you'll always be around," he mumbled.

Nothing was more mind-nulling than sitting in camp, doing nothing. Rainypaw tucked her paws farther underneath her with a soft sigh, surverying the camp with dull, bored blue eyes. She'd wished Battie was here, or maybe Ruffles, or even better, that handsome devil Deerie. If she had hard, she'd be sitting there, twirling like any love-sicken girl and giggling at the thought.
Eyes caught sight of Glowingkit, one of Vulturefang's devilish spawn. She hated kits, they were too noisy, too naive, and always in the way. Her nose crinkled as she watch the little guy play with what seemed a yellow bug. Ew, bugs.
Dilemma crossed her mind as it did everyday. Should she sit here and be bored, or, curse her stars, go over there and try to hold on conversation with the kid. He seemed.. decent, enough. He had a bit of an attitude and she liked a lil' spunk. The Silver Queen sighed softly, rolling her eyes to herself. "Hey kid," She called to him, motioning him to come to her.
Mothkit walked around, not knowing what to do. No one wanted to play with her. Part of her wanted to cause some chaos. But part of her told her not to.
Then, her amber eyes landed on someone. A cat who she knew(better since she barely knew anyone). Vulturefang. "DADDYYYYYYYY!!!!"

Dull eyes drifting over the nearly empty clearing, Vulturefang stifled a yawn and pulled himself closer. Ever since fall had struck, it admittedly lessened his chances of wanting to go outside. It was rather cold most days, and from the boughts of recent rainstorms, it had left the ground a muddy mess. Typically he wouldn't mind the mud, but it got tiresome rather quickly. The thick fur on his shoulder prickled, as another harsh gale provoked him. This left him forcing back a shiver that he wasn't keen on showing; what's the point of having thick fur if it didn't do anything? Ugh.
Tail neatly tucked over his paws, Vulturefang decided to try and ignore the frigid air and remain on duty. And thankfully he did, because only a short time later, a shrill scream broke the air as a little bundle of fluff hurled herself at him. Head immediately snapping towards her direction, he sighed. Oh boy... The attack Mothkit had planned didn't really work, while she did crash into his side, it didn't cause any harm or discomfort. Sighing, his half ruined gaze fell towards the little molly. Raising a brow, he huffed out a response. "Good lord," he muttered. " Is something wrong kiddo? Why ya' screaming bloody murder like that?" The pathetic mewling didn't bother him too much, but he didn't understand why she had to be so god damn loud. Like come on, you have the pitch of an air raid siren, put it to good use by not screeching for pretty much no reason.

The little kit bounced off her father and stared at her. "Hi! Please play with me! No one else is playing with me! Please?" She climbed on her father and jumped on his back.
