Charredkit was asleep in the corner. He hasn't eaten in a while, perhaps something is wrong..?

Mistfire quietly watched the activities of the nursery from her nest.

Charredkit was asleep but he soon woke up and noticed someone outside the nursery- Splashfur. And he had a mischievous expression. Yeah, he wasn't getting involved in whatever Splashfur had planned. So he hid himself in a small corner of the nursery, far from Splashfur.

Deerkit heard Splashfur say that he wanted to play a game of tag with them. She wanted to join but... she couldn't. She guessed she would just play mossball alone while all of the other kits played. Not much fun but it was something to do. And so the three moon old batted a mossball around with her front paws, the way she always played. Not very creative or fun but it wasn't like there was another way she could play. (Open)

Birdpaw had seen a warrior entering the nursery with a strange look on their face, so she entered the nursery as well. Noticing a little Charredkit in the corner looking quite frightened, she padded over swiftly and used her body to block the kit from Splashfurs sights, not knowing what was going on but better safe than sorry. "You alright, kiddo?"

"Y-Yeah, it's just that there's this loner after me cos I know a thing about what he's been up to for a while- killing other kits- and he wants to kill me so I don't tell another person. I-i think Mr splashfur is working with william. Miss Sootpelt is a nice cat, she's not like William and I know she'd never work with him... Mr splashfur on the other hand might try and take me to William so that he can kill me..." Charredkit mewed softly.

Birdpaw felt her fur bristle at the kit's explanation, but she kept her expression calm. "Okay.... Don't worry, I'll try to take care of it, okay sweetie?" The blue gray ragdoll rose her her paws, gesturing for him to stay where he is, and padded over to Splashfur. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave; you're making some of the kits uncomfortable, so please exit the nursery." Whether or not Charredkit was being truthful was just something she would have to risk.

Splashfur gave Birdpaw an annoyed look. "I'm sorry, which of us is the warrior here? Me. And just because Charredkit is a coward doesn't mean you have to try and help him. He could just fall asleep again or something- not that I intend to do anything." Sootpelt then walked in and glared at Splashfur.
"Oh, heya Birdpaw. Have you met Charredkit yet? Splashfur was talking to some tom that's after the little lad earlier. He's gonna try and sneak Charredkit out of the nursery if he gets the chance." Sootpelt purred to Birdpaw while Splashfur glared tiredly.

Ugh, was Splashfur a jerk or what. Birdpaw was too depressed for this- grieving her best friend and father/mentor was taking a toll on her and she wasn't in the mood to be dealing with assholes. "Sootpelt, if you wouldn't mind too terribly, could you escort Splashfur out of the nursery? I don't think it's safe to leave him near the kids unattended." Now.... What to do with Charredkit. She stayed in front of the little kit so if Splashfur ended up choosing a physical solution to the problem, she'd be there to mess up his plan.

Splashfur let out a reluctant growl before following Sootpelt out of the nursery. Charredkit let out a soft sigh of relief. "Thanks."he purred gently.
