Brindleice was walking around looking for prey she could eat as she was starving when she spotted darksong and Mistypaw.

"Hey do you guys mind going hunting im starving and I could use the company".Brindleice said

"Sure me and Mistypaw were going to hunt now so perfect timing!!'.

She planned just to come out, have a nice stroll, and enjoy the scenery maybe hunt some prey to bring back. Something that she would do a few times since she didn't want to have stiff limbs. Applebees also didn't feel like sitting around camp lollygagging if she couldn't find anyone back home to converse with. So here she was, in the middle of their territory as she looked around, nothing going on so far. That was until she spotted a kit by itself on roaming with no other adult around, she didn't even recognize the kit in the first place. With no hesitation, the warrior trotted over approaching the child "Whoa there, where is your mother, little one? It is far too dangerous to be out here by yourself!" she worried about the young kit.

Birdsnow had been hunting alone when she caught the scent of a kit. Oh shucks. That.... that wasn't good. Darting over, not arriving in time to see the kid eat the deathberries, she made her way to the little kitten. "Hey little feather, what're you doing so far from camp? How about I give you a badger ride home, how does that sound?" It was really a choice, but Birdsnow wanted to make it fun. Or at least... Not sound cruel.

The little black she-kit didn't respond. There was foam at her mouth and her blue eyes were dull and glazed.

"AH!" squealed the kit "WHO ARE YOU- WHERE AM I" it said, as it turned you see its pale blue eyes, Its blind!

Birdsnow let out a soft choke as the kit began to go limp, eyes glazing over and foam coming from her mouth. This seemed to be a reaction to poison, but Bird didn't have time to panic reaching forward, she tried to open the kit's mouth gently and scoop whatever was hurting her out. Jackdawkit wasn't too far gone until Birdsnow knew there was nothing she could do.

"H-hey, kid? Kid, can you try to cough up whatever you ate? Look at me, sweetie. You'll be okay, just look at me. Try to cough."

Squirrelpaw, a RiverClan apprentice, heard Birdsnow´s choke and headed over. Her emerald eyes widened as she noticed Jackdawkit lying unresponsive on the ground. The apprentice´s tail drooped, her ears going flat against her head as she slowly padded towards Birdsnow and the kit. ´´What happened...?´´ Squirrelpaw´s voice was no more than a whisper.
