Berryfall's return from the hunting patrol heightened the nervous excitement within her. Scanning the familiar clearing with her amber eyes, she couldn't help but spot Sagefern sitting in the distance. The unspoken feelings she harbored for him loomed in the forefront of her thoughts, and the prospect of expressing them left her with a fluttering sensation in her stomach.
Seeking a moment of respite, she made her way to a small pool of water nestled within the clearing. Bending down, she lapped up the cool and refreshing liquid, relishing the brief reprieve it offered. With renewed determination, she stood up and treaded towards Sagefern, her heart pounding with every step.
"Hey Sagefern!" she meowed, her paws shifting nervously as she approached him. The air seemed charged with anticipation as she waited for his response, uncertain of the path their interaction would take.

Well, his first round of patrols was a bust. Only about 2 and a half of his patrols actually reported back. He's actively waiting on the rest of them to come sauntering in before he gives out punishments to those who'd already arrived. If he can remember, he's waiting on around 1 patrol.
It irked him, they needed a bit more fresh kill, and one of them was a border patrol if he was remembering right. Borders were to be kept an eye on especially considering who their neighbors are. Although granted a portion of that was his fault. Well a little bit of it was, not all of it though.
As he was pacing in the clearing, a familiar pelt caught his eye. Maybe a trick of his eye. Surely. A face he hadn't seen in moons. A face he'd mourned. Maybe it was due to his sickness, he was feeling moreso under the weather today than he had been the past few. Surely a joke, sunlight playing with his sights. After all Ospreypaw had gone MIA moons ago.

The large tabby apprentice had came back to his home after...well he doesn't really remember. It seems like everything was kind of fuzzy for a while, but he was glad he was back home. His two colored eyes looked around the camp, trying to see if anyone he recognized was around.
When his eyes landed on Spiderthroat his eyes went wide and a grin crossed his face as he ran and jumped onto the warrior, purrs rumbling in his chest as he spoke, "Spider!! I've missed you so much."
