Ah. It seemed Lioncrest had nerve enough to approach her, despite the unpleasant contents of their most recent conversation. His bravery was laudable, if potentially about to land him in trouble. Of course his approach was polite, and he sat at an acceptable distance, but Tansyjaw was hardly surprised. She expected nothing less, seeing as decorum had been drilled into him more or less since kithood. It pleased her somewhat that he was keeping himself presentable, but to linger on this scrap of pride to long would do neither of them any good. His ancestry alone should ensure this level of ability and presentation, so really he was just achieving the bare minimum.

The majority of her positive thoughts about her grandkit having been thusly banished, Tansyjaw mewed crabbily (she was cold after all, but not about to take up the offer for cuddling. She wasn't THAT cold) Good morning Lioncrest. Grandson sounded odd. She wasn't sure why, but if it sounded strange Tansyjaw wasn't going to use it, even if it acknowledged their bond beyond that of clanmates. I'm about as well as can be expected she continued though the......interesting that was the nicest way she could put it choices of romantic partners among my descendants make it rather difficult to anticipate my coming great-grandkits with much joy.

This was a lie, she was very much looking forwards to having some new little minions to order around. She could still yowl at the general population of kits, but there was little hope of getting through to them. They'd just run off to their foolish parents and become all soft again. In complete contrast to her earlier palpable hostility, Tansyjaw didn't particularly wait for her grandson to reply before inquiring How much longer do you think it'll be? She hadn't exactly been keeping track, but she ought to get a handle on the timeline soon. That way she could make sure she was on hand shortly afterwards to meet the little ones. Kits were cute, if nothing else. @Jayvines

fuzzkit can't sit still, or sit down at all, actually. excitement buzzing through him, he practically hops from paw to paw. his eyes are wide, ears perked, because he knows this is the meeting he becomes an apprentice. it has to be! it's confirmed when he hears bumblestar speak up, mentioning apprentice ceremonies. first goes burnetkit, then him, then some other thunderbuddies who, admittedly..he does not care about right now. "YES!" he squeaks out, a large grin on his face. the mottled kit sprints forward, pushing past any cats that could have been in his way.

The Calico made his way into the Clearing, seemingly just in time for Apprentice Ceremonies. Ah, he was a little late to a meeting...oh no...anyways.

Taking a moment to pluck any twigs he'd gotten stuck in his fur out after he'd found a spot to sit himself down. Ears twitching as he tuned into the announcements. Quite a handful of upcoming Apprentice's, how many of them would take their training seriously...he wondered.

After all, he had an inkling of a feeling...that a war would be on them soon. Not that the feeling meant anything however, he always felt like there was doom around the corner.

Featherpaw looked up at Bumblestar with great interest. She hadn't seen much of her yet, and she had no idea what her new leader was like. Dawnstar had taken no nonsense, and had been... a little scary, if she was honest. She was curious to see how Bumblestar lead ThunderClan in comparison.

First up, new apprentices! They thought back to their own apprentice ceremony with a pang of longing, Cloudpaw by their side and Valleystrike watching proudly. They shook the memory from their head, glancing around to see if they could spot Whistlewing.
I don't care about Valleystrike anymore! All he did was lie to me, they thought, though it felt like an empty lie even in their head. I have my mother to get to know here!
