Rosecloud had just exited the nursery, pelt prickly with excitement. She had returned from a hunting patrol and gave her catch to the nursing queens, visiting them and admiring the kits who were more than ready and eager to leave the den, despite their mother's protests. She fluffed her fur out against the cold, purring with content as the sunshine warmed her up. Rosecloud closed her eyes, taking in the sun's warmth.

Blackice padded into the clearing. Smelling of mud and rabbit. The tom set his small catch in the fresh kill pile. He stretched out, unsheathing his claws for a moment as he yawned. The tom flicked his ears, a scar still sat on his cheek. Blackice licked his paw, swiping it over his ears as he sat next to Rosecloud, a cat who he had seen walking around but never talked to. Rapping his soft black tail around his paws, Blackice let out a small sigh before talking to the she-cat. "Hello, Rosecloud right?" He mewed. The tom hadn't talk to any other she's beside his sister ever since Shoresand had turned him down.

Rosecloud's ears twitched and she opened her eyes, noticing Blackice settling beside her. She scooted over a mouse-length so there was more comfortable space between them. She bowed her head respectfully to the seasoned warrior and smiled. "Yes, my name is Rosecloud," she said cheerfully, swaying her tabby tail. "And you're Blackice, right? I've seen you around camp attending to your duties but have never had a chance to properly introduce myself to you." Rosecloud was only just made a warrior so getting to know the older or seasoned warriors among her Clan had been somewhat of a struggle.

Rosecloud nodded and looked up at the sky as well. The sun was slowly setting, casting a beautiful golden glow across the sky. A frown crossed her lips as she thought about the WindClan leader who had fallen ill. Every day the she-cat prayed to StarClan that their leader would get better but had yet to see that happen. "I understand. I've been trying to fill in patrols as much as I can since every cat is confused what to do, but it's hard trying to go into the patrols with the seasoned warriors when you're a fresh starting one, you know?" She let out a small chuckle at the end to show it didn't beat her down.

Blackice smiled, nosing Rosecloud. "You'll get there," He purred, shifting. Blackice turned, grabbing a small mouse that sat out from the rabbits. He took a small bite, thinking if he would give Featherheart any. His gaze flickered to the clan entrance to the mouse. "I'm going to check for the dog thats been spotted. Apparently its been chasing of prey." He mewed. Blackice took another bite, looking at Rosecloud. "You want to come with me? It will help cats respect you a a true warrior." He mewed.

Blackice's touch gave her confidence and she let out a purr. At the mention of the dog, she pricked her ears. "Oh, yes of course! Not only that but it would be very mouse-brained of you to go on your own, especially if something were to happen," Rosecloud said and stretched, readying her muscles for the search.

Blackice walked out, waiting for Rosecloud to follow.
