She began to get worried and meowed out an “Firetail are you okay?” The she-cat began was worried about him so, she decided to drag him to the nearest stream running by which was luckily close enough. Springmoss gathered a paw full of cold water and splashed it on the tom cat’s face. Hoping that he would regain consciousness.

Firetail stayed unconscious until a cold water splashed him, immediately he jumped in startle, the tom spreader his 3 legs out to land but failed and ended up spraining a leg. The tom moaned for a moment before looking at spring moss, the embarrassment spreader throughout his body,"i-im fine hehe Uh how much of that did you see..." Doomed, Doomed! Why was love so difficult. The scarred tom sat up and looked at spring miss"I-Im sorry I'm horrible with socializing and stuff, and well I'll be honest I never met a beautiful cat like you, most cats I've met are skinny and not well groomed" he admitted.

Hearing the Tom-cat ask how much she saw she decided to spare him the embarrassment and said “Well besides you fainting and me splashing the water on your face that’s about it.” Springmoss saw that Firetail had landed hard on his leg and could tell that it was sprained. “I may not be Tansypaw our medicine cat, but I can wrap that sprained leg up for you. Hold still.”
Springmoss gathered some of the supplies around her to use it for a temporary cast to help the tom-cat move around better. While wrapping up his leg Springmoss could hear him talking about how he had liked her and how they kept their fur groomed. With a smile and a bright red face from blushing, the she-cat said, “Thank you, I’m not really a cat who has many friends- let alone a partner, but I try to help around most of the time. But the other part of my time I go on walks or keep my coat groomed well, especially since my coat is so thick.” Springmoss had a funny feeling in her chest, perhaps it could be some newfound feelings for Firetail, or just the sun shining down on the two cats.
Springmoss had finished with the temporary cast and had helped Firetail up to his paws. The she-cat had purred out, “Hopefully that cast will last long enough till we get you back to the medicine cat.” Trying to support the tom-cat on his paws, she walked slowly beside him so that he wouldn’t fall and hurt himself any more.

[This Roleplay Takes Place On A Different Day From All Previous Posts]

Lionpaw had woken early that day, and for once didn't start it with glaring at the sun like an old enemy. Instead he left straight for the warriors' den, poked his head inside and showed no sympathy for any sleeping warriors as he loudly called out to his mentor to meet him at Haven Springs. Lionpaw was as considerate as he was patient; which happened to be neither, so no sooner had the words left his maw he was already one paw out of camp.

He had yet to see Haven Spring and its rumored pools, said to defy the breath of winter and stay warm on even the coldest days. Today was especially cold, the young apprentice needing to walk briskly just to save the pads of his feet from the biting frost. That just made the thought of getting to soak his fur in that warm water all the more alluring.

As Lionpaw broke through the underbrush, promise of snow shined on the ice-tinted leaves under the glow of morning. Sharp winds blew against him and managed to penetrate through even his thick blanket of fur. The cold that came with it wouldn't be a problem for him once he started training, though. And now that he had arrived at his destination all that was left to do was to wait for his new, and probably unreliable, mentor to arrive.

Lionpaw tapped the ground with his tail, ears tuned to a pair of birds singing at each other. He huffed, already irritated that his mentor didn't appear the second he wished it so, his breath taking shape in front of him on the chilled air. It reminded him of the fog that sometimes came in early mornings.

Lionpaw huffed again and watched as his breath swirled and dissipated in a matter of seconds. At least now he had something mildly amusing to distract himself with...

(- I won't ask you to roll dice during this sparring lesson, but I'm just letting you know that all of Lionpaw's dodges will be determined that way. He also has a -5 debuff so he won't be dodging a lot! -) @Bean_The_Cat

Ripplepelt's whiskers twitched in amusement. "The trick is to leap up after them. If you can damage their wing on the first pounce, it makes it easier to catch them since they won't be able to fly away. Birds also have good hearing, so you need to put extra effort into quiet steps while hunting them."

She pricked her ears, listening for bird song. "I'd like to see you have a go at catching one - that way, I can give you some pointers."

Ripplepelt caught the scent of a thrush, but didn't point it out, wanting to see if Charredpaw would pick it up. "Can you smell any more prey around?" she asked.

He rushed forward, sinking his claws into the bird's wing before finishing the bird off. "I did it! I killed a bird!

Snowfall jumped when she heard someone speak. "Oh! Hi . . she mewed. She seemed to be a shy type, she wasn't making eye contact with the cat in front of her. Well, you would probably be shy if you were in exile for a few moons and only rejoined about a moon ago. "Moonfoot isn't it?" she mewed.

Ripplepelt nodded. He could float, so they wouldn't be starting completely from scratch, but they still had quite a bit of work to do. "Let's head out then," she mewed to Firetail, leading the way to Haven Springs. At least the sky looked like it was clearing up.

She wasted no time slipping into the water, letting out a sigh as the warmth soaked into her fur. Getting out would be far less fun, but at least she didn't have to freeze her tail off while she was doing the teaching.
"You said you can stay afloat - why don't we work from there?" She tilted her head for him to come into the water. "Paddling is easy enough - kick your back paws, and move your front like you're digging."
