After telling Littlepaw goodbye Spiderpaw searched for Flowerblaze. As soon as she found her the massive six moon old with six toed paws touched noses with her new mentor. @Swiftheart <3

Littlepaw searched for his mentor after saying goodbye to Spiderpaw, the tailless large apprentice who was not quite as massive as his sister Spiderpaw but quite close to it touching noes with Silentraven as soon as he found Silentraven. Littlepaw's prefix was because he had been the runt at birth but had grown rapidly in the six moons since then. He was giggling as he searche for Silentraven as now that he was so large he found his name quite funny. @Ravenswings

Pearnose looked quite stunned when Dawnstar called her name. She froze, looking like a deer in the headlights. She was gonna be a mentor? What? Why her? Pearnose wasn’t exactly the most responsible or hardworking cat. Not that she was bad warrior- she was loyal to her Clan, and completed her duties and patrols, but she didn’t go out of her way to be a stellar warrior.

She was known for her “laziness”, though she just called it being unmotivated. She can’t help but remember all the things Chirpshine had said to her, all the names she’d been called: lazy, stupid, apathetic, and things of the sort. She’d always lived in her older sisters shadow, but suddenly she was getting an apprentice? A cat that she would be training, a cat who would rely on her to become a good warrior, a cat who would look up to her.

This was the last thing she wanted. This was just another chance for her to screw everything up again and prove how useless she was. This a poor apprentice would probably resent her for doing a terrible job as his mentor. Maybe he’d become as screwed up as her. Just another cat for her to let down.

As Flamepaw stepped up to touch noses with her the gray cat was snapped out of her thoughts to look down at him. She already felt guilty. He deserved a better mentor. She knew she should try to be positive, but she couldn’t push away the negative thoughts in her head. Pessimism, insecurities and doubt were in control as always. Afterall, if she never got her hopes up she’d never have to be disappointed again.

She meets the apprentice’s eyes; Her apprentices eyes. She knew that she’d have to try, something she’d given up on a long time ago. This cat deserved better. This Clan deserved better. She leaned down to touch noses with the young cat, still recovering from her shock and anxieties about being a mentor, though she is able to utter: “Congratulations… Flamepaw.”

Batflight let out a shiver as she sat, wrapping her tail around her paws. Being out in the cold, sitting still as she listened to Dawnstar, was leaving her whole body numb and her ears, nose, and paw pads stinging in the wind.

She called out the new apprentices names with her clan mates, ears pricking up at their mentor assignments. She had Palepaw now, but she was still interested in which of her clan mates would get to mentor the newly named apprentices. Cougarbite was first - she was sure Dreamingbloom would be happy for him - and then Pearnose! She felt a burst of pride for her best friend. Now they both had apprentices! It felt like a new chapter in their lives.

"Ooh, Cougarbite took on a new apprentice!" she mewed to Dreamingbloom. "I'll be right back, I just wanna go congratulate Pearnose!" She stood up, paws clumsy from the numbness. She gave them a shake to try bring a little feeling back into them.
Batflight quickly padded over to her best friend, tail up. "Hey, congratulations!" she mewed, not yet noticing Pearnose's mood. "Now we've both got apprentices! Maybe we can do mentor stuff together? Oh, and congrats to you too, Flamepaw! Are you excited to get started?"

She kept one ear swivelled to listen to Dawnstar's other announcements. Some more apprentice reassignments, and... wait, some demotions? I'm glad I haven't missed any patrols... Maybe that had been why Dawnstar was so mad? She sure hoped there wasn't anything else...

Willow'paw glanced over to the strange Kit Dawn'Star had mentioned, following the gaze of the other cats. Whats with that Kit? She thought, It cant be half ShadowClan, can it?. If it was, then Dawn'Star would not be happy, to say the least. And the Clan would probably try to flay the kits Parents as brutally as possible, if this was a cross-clan Kit, but Dawn'Star would probably do it first.

After the ShadowClan leader turned away from the kit, as Dark'Fall had been to slow to hand it over, a couple new Apprentices were announced. Willow'Paw chanted the new apprentices names, which kinda felt like the whole clan was performing a ritual to summon the moon to the ground or something (An Eldritch horror would do just fine, and would fit for ShadowClan decoration)

After the Apprentice ceremonies, Warriors had been taken of their Warriors names and demoted back to Apprentices, which Willow'Paw hadnt been expecting. She hadn't even known that could happen in the first place. Even though they wouldn't be Apprentices for that long, they probably wouldn't be having the best moon or so. She hoped that was all for the meeting: A mysterious kit, new Apprentices and a few demotions. Hopefully no announcements of battles. Hopefully nothing about ThunderClan, but given Dawn'Stars angry impression from the beginning of the meeting, she doubted that

ShadowClan Warrior

A dappled, stocky silver-and-white pseudo-tabby she-cat was sitting in the clearing, her ears perking up as she heard Dawnstar call her name.

Looking around, Dovedance's amber gaze narrowed as she searched for her new apprentice, Lostpaw, in the crowd of cats. Spotting Lostpaw, the warrior got to her paws and padded over.

Dovedance dipped her head respectfully to the young cat.

''Greetings, Lostpaw,'' She meowed, voice soft yet firm. ''I am your mentor, Dovedance. It's a pleasure to meet you, and I'm sure you'll learn well.''

In a lower tone of voice, Dovedance added. ''I'm honored to get to mentor you, but we will need to set a few ground rules.''

The warrior whisked her tail. ''Rule one, you are to listen to what I say at all times, older than me or not. I'm not playing around, and Dawnstar will have my tail if she catches me treating you like you run the Clan.''

''Rule two: You are to do as I say when I tell you to do it, Lostpaw. Understand?'' Dovedance watched Lostpaw through narrowed eyes.

''Last, but certainly not least, rule three. Try your best to have fun. As your mentor, Lostpaw, I should be a cat you know you can trust and confide in. But I can't do that if I have to yowl at you to listen or straighten up all the time.''

lostpaw looked at dovedance with sad eyes. nodding at everything for what she did understand...lostpaw had the littlest idea why she needed a new mentor. her old one must have...been too weak to train her now...and it was her fault...a guilt she would let follow her for the rest of her life. "my only goal with you as my mentor is to finish my training..." she mewed in a low voice. clearly she was upset right now. a sad upset. lostpaw shuffled her paws a little. her eyes looking down at the ground now.
