She bares her teeth and lashes her tail, choosing to blatantly ignore Bumblestar's words about how her clan clearly does not respect her. She knows that. She knows! She doesn't need Bumblestar to point it out to her. She's plenty aware already.
As much as she wants to, the small tortie restrains herself from lashing out with a claw, adding to the ThunderClan patrol's retreating backs, "Next time you come into RiverClan territory like you own the place, I'm going to personally ensure you leave with one less life than you came with!" She's spitting and snarling as she turns back around to face her own clan, equally as fed up with all of them as she was ThunderClan. No one listens to her. No one respects her. They never have. She had thought she was doing better, that more of the clan was coming around to having her as their figurehead, but they weren't. They never would unless she put her foot down. And, even then, she's not sure that would work.
"The lot of you need to get your act together," she snarls to RiverClan, unwilling and unable to hide her fury. "I don't know what you've all been taught, but I was taught that when your clan leader gives you an order you listen to her!" She hisses. "Not ONE of you who've deliberately disobeyed me just now have a RIGHT to do so unless I'm making a decision that jeopardizes our SAFETY, and I have done no such thing. You want to hiss and snarl at me and claim I'm being unfair, then go ahead. You've lost your chance at me being fair. I've put up with deliberate disrespect from the lot of you for long enough. Beat it into those thick skulls of yours that I won't take any more crap from you, or I'll beat it into you myself."
Still riding the adrenaline of anger, steely green eyes lock on Goldfish, Hollyflight and Springaw. "Springpaw is a Lionheart and you'd both do well to remember that and listen to her when she tells you to do something," RiverClan's leader snaps, teeth bared, "Apprentice duties for a moon, both of you. I want the elders fed, and the dens spotless. If you need a harsher punishment, that can be arranged." She unsheathes her claws as if to prove her point. She won't hesitate to spill blood this time. If she needs to, she will. She tries not to feel sick by the thought of it.
[ goldfish and hollyflight will both need at least 3 post carrying out their punishments before their ranks are reinstated !! ]

His gaze followed the ThunderClan trio all the way out, ears perked to catch every word they said. Once they left, there still seemed to be chaos. Wingpaw didn't miss how Birdsnow had decided to show up late, to which he wrinkled his nose. Where had she been during this entire thing? His thoughts didn't linger long though as his aunt spoke and - took control? Wing hadn't been expecting it, but by the stars above his eyes widened slowly.
Thoughts of ThunderClan's leader were gone as he watched his aunt. Powerful. Commanding. Much unlike anything he'd seen from her. And they way she snapped back at a Clan full of kits... it was inspiring, and perhaps edged her a bit closer to a more positive outlook in the young tom's mind. Suddenly he felt proud to be her blood, proud to be of RiverClan. Still though he remained quiet - unwilling to have any eyes pointed towards him like the last meeting. But if his aunt were to look in his direction, she would see admiration shining in the depths of his gaze.

"Get that moss or whatever it is in your ears out or so help me because what I said had nothing to do with what you just said!" she could right now rip out her fur and make herself bald. "I'm talking about your inability to help the other kits besides just one" she hissed, talking about taking it out of context. "Do you're job as a queen and control these kits the next time this stuff happens!" was her warning to them and hopefully, they would act like an adult and walk away. Yet something told her that wouldn't happen with this one, they seemed stupidly headstrong for the wrong reasons.
If springpaw was capable of reading minds and at Goldfish at that, the warrior would be dead wrong. She was mad at everyone, she was angry with the incompetence of all these warriors in the clan. She was angry that they sat on their asses talking about what they did for the clan yet have nothing to show for it. She was tired of how they treated apprentices like they were beneath them, that what she or any other apprentice had said didn't matter. "You hardly know me yet we are clanmates living in the same camp, are you a damn shut-in or something" came her snarky response.
"If you're living out here in the wild, fighting for your very life, and anxiety is what's stopping you from common sense, then you don't belong here as a clan cat, you can go be fear-ridden over with the twolegs!" no one who would freak out at simple conflict belonged here. "What did you just say to me?" she growled, did she just hear this right? Did this one just threaten her, were they being serious? "Say that louder for everyone around here to hear because I don't think they did!" now she was yelling, fed up. Just like that she strikes out aiming to claw Goldfish's face, she wasn't going to sit there while someone had basically threatened to break her jaw. "You don't get to threaten me and get away with it!"
Now her attention was on the pep squeak that is Lionpaw, she thought he would leave her alone. Considering the last spat they had with them, his words still rang in her head. "I don't give respect to those who haven't earned it, age be damned you should learn that Lionpaw" she glared at the other. "I am doing it myself you idiot, can't you see I'm blocking the nursery entrance so these guys can't leave, how about you go back to the apprentice's den since all you're here to do is antagonize me and leave me alone like you wanted me to leave you alone!"

Finally some sense was being made here, though she wish Larkstar was a little harsher on those who didn't listen to. Another part wish they jumped the Leader who decided this was her camp to walk into but then against Lark did say there wouldn't be another time. "Thank you Larkstar for trying to talk some sense into these cats." Adderpaw spoke up giving a glance to the others walking off. "Next time I think harsher punishments for those who don't listen to stand down." She probably wasn't going to be listened to but she felt like saying it anyways.
Of course, his words directed at Larkstar were ignored. Because of course, why would anyone care what a younger cat had to say? And apparently, you only get protected as an apprentice if you're special to Larkstar and named a Lionheart. Honestly, Talonpaw was used to be disappointed by RiverClan leadership again and again.
And of course, the cat who he presumed was Larkstar's deputy only spoke appeared and made her presence known after ThunderClan had left the middle of their camp. What the hell was wrong with this Clan?!
"You only show up once ThunderClan has dumped the bodies of RiverClan warriors in camp. What would have happened if that had been a battle patrol and we were attacked? Were you just going to stand by and watch?" Talonpaw spat, glaring at Birdsnow briefly before turning his irate gaze on Larkstar.
"And are you going to ignore me again, just like every other RiverClan leader? You probably only care about a few specific apprentices and kits, and the rest are just annoyances to be brushed aside. And clearly our safety is jeopardized when anyone can just walk into our camp whenever the hell they want! Has it seriously taken you this many moons to get your damn act together? If you can't handle being the leader of RiverClan, then step aside and let someone who can."
Stars, how he missed Tinystorm. If only he were here now. He would probably be the only one to listen to Talonpaw's words anyways.

The sight of Squirrelpaw draws her ire even more than the receding Thunderclan cats. Marching her way over to her, she stands before the apprentice with ears laid back flat. Without tearing her gaze away, she speaks loudly enough for all her clan mates to hear.
"Squirrelkit, how nice of ya to join us. Remember that punishment I gave ya that you completely ignored? Well let this be a lesson t'a everyone. Since ya decided to ignore me after reporting too late for our patrol, you're going to be spending the next moon off of Riverclan territory in exile."
Turning to face the slowly dispersing crowd, she eyes each and every one of them individually as she continues to speak.
"'m sick an' tired of struggling to get you all to go out and get supplies Riverclan desperately needs. Without prey, without herbs, we're all gonna die. I can't heal anyone without herbs and I can't gather 'em by myself all the time. From this point on if ya don't report for or from your patrol, you're demoted a rank for a moon. And if ya ignore me, you'll end up like Squirrelkit here and face a moon long exile. Do I make myself clear?"
Beginning to pad back toward her den she stops only a few steps in, pausing with her back turned for only a moment before she's turning again. No. She wasn't done. Riverclan would learn of her anger today. After this debacle with Thunerclan they would understand how serious their behavior was. If they couldn't accept the responsibility and the outcomes, well... That was on them.
"I'm serious about not healin' anyone until you all get yourselves together. If ya got somethin' nasty to say, save it, I don't care. I work too hard to keep all of you healthy and alive by myself. We argue, we look like idiots-- it's gonna get us all killed! Grow up, the lot'a you! You're full grown warriors acting like kits! If ya need me, don't bother. I'll be in my den. If someone could escort Squirrelkit off the territory, that'd be great."
Her tail lashes behind her once she finishes, stalking back through the entrance of the medicine cat den.

Finally... FINALLY! Law was starting to win over chaos in this clan and Adderpaw was loving it so much. She liked Tansypaw before but now she loved Tansypaw for this. A part of her wished that she could spend more time with the medicine cat. She was a riot. With that Adderpaw walked in front of the medicine cat den.
"Alright if any of you have a problem with what Tansypaw said, you'll have to go through me. I know how much you all are willing to throw your claws around like idiot kits. If I hear you hurt our medicine cat well I'll make you regret it" The apprentice said in a serious tone.

· · ────────────── · · "Yes ma'am." Eaglekit dipped her head to the elder, tugging on the other kits next to her and scampering towards the nursery. Once in the safety of the dark den, Eaglekit positioned herself near the entrance--though not too close, lest the apprentice stationed to guard them think she was trying to escape--and listened. Things were... bad. At first, Eaglekit hadn't thought much of the clan she had been brought into, thinking this was just how every clan was run. But this was her first interaction with cats outside her clan, and if her leader was truly being accused of not leading the clan right... what were the other clans like?
Eaglekit hoped it was just cats being angry and letting their emotions cloud their judgement, but then Tansypaw spoke. There was not a single cat in the clan Eaglekit trusted more than Tansypaw. The kit watched with wide eyes as Tansypaw snarled at the intruders, the clan gathered in the clearing, and even at Larkstar. She was threatening not to heal anyone... wasn't that how she was going to repay the clan for taking her in? Though suddenly Eaglekit wasn't sure the clan even deserved Tansypaw, if they were going to run her so ragged. Not enough herbs, not enough prey... the apprentice was listing off things that sounded like the opposite of what should be happening. Well, clearly if no one was going to help Tansypaw, Eaglekit would. The fluffy golden kit set her resolve, and disappeared back into the nursery to come up with a plan.
