Cloverdove grinned at the kit, “very good, Mousekit,” she purred. She flicked her fluffy tail into the kits face playfully.

“You wanna catch my tail now, little mouse,” she purred taking a few cat length steps away. She flicked her tail back and forth, back and forth in the clearing, flicking up dust with every whisper of fur on the earth.

Cloverdove flicker her tail expectedly, “Remember to keep your claws sheathed, this is only for fun,” she purred with a hint of motherly sternness, “I do not want to have a missing chunk of fur, either.”

Mouse was aimed to land on her tail as soon as sea noticed her tail stopped moving, claws sheathed

Cloverdove felt the weight of the kit land on her tail and she pulled it from over sear and fluffed them on the face with it. “A very good pounce !!” She purred. She grinned at the young feline and nudged sear with her large head. Cloverdove laid down and batted a leaf towards Mousekit before meowing thoughtfully, “How much longer until you become and apprentice,” sea was getting close to six moons she was pretty sure.

Cloverdove smiled and licked the kit behind the ears, sears dedication and excitement was quite frankly the cutest thing she had seen in a while.

Honeydew yawned and waited for his apprentice in the clearing. They had done hunting last, what would Nightpaw want to do now...? he thought. He wasn't the best at mentoring, he thought, but he did a decent job at it.
