In a shock for the usually easy going warrior the tripods response was downright belligerent.

Still gnawing on the paw and remaining upsidown butt in the air Mudhound lightly glared at their leader-sister. The glare faded however into a more pleading position as they spat out the paw with a long whine and righted themself. Which wasnt gracefully! By the way.

No Mudhound just kinda..... leaned to the side and bodily thumped against the ground in a slightly more dignified position, wiggling around so they were at least facing (though still sprawled) the right way. From there there was the most pitiful puppydog eyes possible as the pouting warrior hurumfed
"But its ITCHY!!!! My paw is itchy now that the cobwebs are gone and it WONT STOP! IIIIIIIIITCHYYYYYYYY!"

Frankly it was still itchy even after the chewing and flopped the tripod started to kinda rub their paw on a nearby den wall, somehow incidentally pushing in a loose bit of branches into place with the scratching.

Grovekit moved surreptitiously away, eyeing the warrior warily. Even after Bumblestar called them out, they were acting weird. A safe distance away, Grovekit called out the new apprentices' names with everyone else, her mood less sullen now and more just... concerned. She kept glancing back at Mudhound, still wondering whether to fetch Drizzlecloud.

It only took the ceremonies of new apprentices within the Clan for Redhawk to beam at them, the tiredness being shoved away to be dealt with later. Her paws kneaded the ground as she lifted her voice to chant along with her Clanmates, shifting her gaze to Mapledawn. She was glad the warrior had been given an apprentice, and hoped that it would bring her back in closer to her Clan.

Hearing Bumblestar speak now to Mudhound, the reddish-brown warrior turned to look over her shoulder - and it was almost impossible to keep the amusement off her face. Getting up the warrior slipped over to where the tripod was and sat down, gesturing with her paw for the warrior to put their hind leg back on the ground. "Here, I can help," she purred with a shake of her head. "I can show you a t-trick to help the itchy feeling." She made sure to keep her voice low so as to not interrupt the meeting.

...Also why was her fur feeling hot? Why was her heart hammering in her chest?? Yellow-green eyes lifted to Mudhound's face - stars, had their eyes always been that beautiful shade of yellow?? - before quickly looking back to the itchy paw they had.

Sparrowpelt simply sat and listened to the announcements, nothing too eventful so far. Besides the bickering between Mudhound and Bumblestar. There was always someone doing something crazy around here, huh? Guess that wasn't a bad thing, especially when it was something that made his whiskers twitch with amusement.

Treepaw simply sat quietly, even unphased by the commotion from the warrior and the leader. She watched the apprentices get announced and reassigned, her fur prickling a little at the memory of her own reassignment. Now she was apprenticed to Spiderthroat, so third times the charm, right? She sighed softly but continued listening.

"Mudhound." Bumblestar's tone grew sharp as their sibling turned their shenanigans on the camp structures. "Sit down 'n sit still before I head down there 'n make you." Skies above, just five seconds.

At least one of the two missing kits had the sense to show up. She opted to ignore Mudhound for the time being. "Butterflykit, 'til you finish up your training, you'll be Butterflypaw. I want you training with Ghostglow."

With a flick of her tail, she changed topics. "Reassignments, so listen up. Leafpaw, since Wildtwist seems to have fallen off the face of the earth, you're with Mudhound." She shot her sibling a warning look. "Sheeppaw, Creeperwolf. Redpaw, Feathernose. Fallingpaw, Forestivy. Forestpaw, Riverpool. Lightningpaw, you're with me. Violetpaw, Skyflame."

There were several things left to go, but these were the easiest to go over, so she'd leave the harder stuff for last.
