Her expression lit up when he agreed to play, and she bounced on her paws in excitement. But what to play? She sat back to think, and oh was she thinking hard; One could see it on her face. Her brows knit together, her nose scrunched, and she squeezed her eyes shut.
"Oh! What if we played hide and seek!" She gasped out after a full minute, and she beamed up at Eggpaw, purring, "It could be good to practice hiding and seeking, right? It's like uh...training too!" Chipmunkpaw hoped the much older apprentice wouldn't think that too silly...she wanted to test her own skills too, and moss-ball was totally a kit game. She was an apprentice! Any game she could think of needed to help her on her own skills...right?
She gazed up at Eggpaw, her pale green eyes wide pools of hopefulness.

Eggpaw flicked his tail with impatience as he stared down at the thinking apprentice. Was she gonna sit there all day? The pale tom almost gave in and suggested moss-ball or something, but Chipmunkpaw beat him to it and chose hide and seek.
Well, he hadn't played that is some time... "I guess," he replied thoughtfully. Like training? I suppose in the sneaking and tracking aspect. "I'll start then." He was tempted to play the 'hide and no seek' variant of it, but her eyes were alarmingly big, and he didn't want to play suck a cruel prank on her. "One, two, three..." He began to count.

Alderblossom had been sunning herself in a patch of sunlight under the little warmth of the leaf-bare sun.
Her deep amber eyes fluttered open to see her littermate - Thistlefrost - in front of her. Alderblossom jumped to her paws and stepped back, clearly startled.
''Great StarClan, Thistlefrost!'' The pretty tortoiseshell exclaimed.
''You scared me out of my fur!''
Alderblossom settled down onto her haunches and gave her chest fur a couple of embarrassed licks.

The little kit has flopped down exhausted at Mossfreckle’s white tipped paws, this time his paws stayed firm to the chilled clearing earth - this kit could bite they pleased but he doubted they would now that they had gotten the attention they craved from the start. With a soft paw he nudged Wispkit up to a sitting position and curled his feathery tail loosely to support the kit if need be.
A little flutter of joy flickered in Mossfreckle’s heart as he spoke to the little kit in a soft purr, “Now that you have tired yourself out shall we get you back to the nursery or would you like to stay out here a bit longer,” he added with a teasingly serious tone, “as long as you keep those bitey teeth to yourself.” His feathery tail flicked in amusement as he rose to stretch his freckled oriental form into a mountain shape, white tipped paws flexed claws into the soil and his muscles loosened from the tension that had grow in his cautious haunches which had been ready to side step the kits nefarious maw. He then sat tall and turned to lick his smooth already clean pelt - each lick bringing the herby scent of the med den to his senses - and perked his oriental shaped ears in anticipation to the kits response.
