Tick Kit had been preoccupied with sitting around in the nursery, there were a lot of bumbling idiots in here more specifically he couldn't believe how the other kits were also just sitting around or playing or making a horrific amount of noise. It was all so aggravating, he preferred to have been back out in the marshes with mother and his siblings then this. He heard his name, Rose Kit! He quickly bounded over to his sibling squeezing past the mass of kits in the nursery. Techniques! Helpful in combat and sneaking around, he could do with learning that, when Tick Kit was apprenticed he wanted to be ahead of every other little kitten just starting, Tick Kit personally felt like he could one day match the skill and accuracy of his sister Rose Kit, surely that would be quite an achievement seeing as it was his sister doing all the teaching as well as Mother. Tick Kit sat near Rose kit with a big smile on his face. 'Rose Kit! I'm here, pleaseeee tell me the techniques!' Tick Kit had a sudden burst of energy, he was so excited to learn them! Rose Kit was going to be the best warrior ever, or so his mother had said to them, and he wanted to be close behind her skills!
Rosekit
Rosekit's warm laugh fills the air as she sees her brother's excitement.
"Yeah? Alright, alright, let's start then. Let me see your hunting crouch," She replies, her voice is calm and soothing, like listening to the wind on a peaceful evening.
Rosekit waits till Tickkit follows the instruction, her eyes wandering to the loud youth around them, the queens squandering their time comforting them and dealing with their perpetual noise. It must really wear them down to have to deal with such antics, she doesn't get it. Why didn't anyone teach them to keep their yaps shut and obey yet? It's puzzling really, a lot of the kits here are older than her and her siblings, how are they so immature?
Scarlet can't begin to wrap her head around it, she doesn't understand why all the queens are like Mother, commanding but loving. She's a really good mother, Stoatleap. Rosekit shakes her head, dismissing her wandering thoughts, she has no need for them at the moment. For now she should focus on helping her brother, her closest friend. He seems eager to learn her tips, which always warms Scarlet's heart to think about, someone who looks up to her.

Tick Kit
Tick Kit tried his best to do a hunters crouch, lowering himself down his tail stuck upright in the air but otherwise he was sure he'd perfected it, he loved practising the hunters crouch. He was sure he'd catch a million of whatever Mother Brought them for him and his sibling to eat, Tick Kit looked at Scarlet for some sort of approval of his attempt at the hunters crouch, he was still buzzing with energy and excitement. Although, all the kits and queens in here were bugging him, he did wish they could have done this in the clearing where a big bundle of annoying brats weren't mushing around. Didn't these kits respect their mothers and the ears of those around them? Tick Kit blinked and flattened his tail as he noticed his own flaw and hoped it hadn't been too embarrassing of a mistake. 'Am I doing good?' Tick Kit mews over, trying to maintain the stance.

Rosekit
Rosekit smiles as Tickkit gets into his hunters crouch. She was about to correct his tail, but he fixed his flaw himself before she got a chance.
"Good, I can tell you've been practicing," She praises, a purr sinking into her voice, "Now get even lower and try swiping at my paws."
Scarlet positions herself in a stance where she can easily be swept off her feet, not wanting to ruin it with how usually unmovable her stance is. She's excited to see ow he does with this, it's quite a valuable tactic to know.
Not-so-little Lark was getting too Goddamn big for this little den. The sounds of her thirteen -- yes, thirteen, ten plus three -- half-siblings shuffling around in here every night just about drove her crazy. She wanted to go home.

With a small head resting on equally small paws, Quietkit surveyed the nursery with a blank gaze. She was bored. Very bored. She had nothing to do, and she certainly did not want to play with anyone. She hated talking, much like her namesake suggested; she was a quiet kit—at least until she wasn't.
Peering out from her nest, the young she-kit watched the other kits like hawks. Her thirteen littermates tired her, and she hadn't interacted much with her older half-siblings, so she was lost in the social world of her clanmates, yet she didn't care; she wasn't keen on knowing them anyway. So there she lay, alone and bored out of her mind.

Flashpaw quietly entered the nursery,
jaws clamped so oddly tight on a bundle of feathers
and her little heart beating like a mouse's. Speaking
of which, her nose and whiskers quivered like a rabbit's
sometimes, and she found herself flicking her left ear again.
Stop that, Flash. You've gotta stop that.
This was a daily and normal thing for her thoughts to tell her,
to not bother her ear, to try not to think about it that much.
With a peaceable purr as she spotted Quietkit, she said, "W-Wha-t What ar- ar- are yo-you doi-do-do-doin-doing?"
Her jumble of stuttered words made Flashpaw immediately
regret saying anything, and in a simplistic manner gave an
apologetic look to the she-kit.

Quietkit
Shadowclan kit
Indifferent eyes snapped towards Flashpaw. Seeing her before she spoke, she was instantly alert and had risen to her paws the moment she started talking. What? She had to admit the stutter of words caught her off guard. Was this cat stupid or something? Probably.
Giving a hard stare in return to the apprentice's apologetic look, she remained silent. Noticing the bundle of feathers in the older she-cat's jaws, she, instead of talking, gave a little flick of her paw towards the weird fluffy things. She'd never seen those before, but she wanted to know what they were so this cat might leave her alone and be satisfied with her silence.

Yowch, that one hurt. With
a little wince, Flashpaw set down the feathers.
This kiddo was all sass, that was for sure. It took
everything in Flashpaw's willpower to not give her
the feathers. Instead, she said, "Y-Y-You h-h-ha-have
to b-b-b-e-be-be n-ni-nice-er abo-abou-about it." her
voice was trembling. Jade green eyes stared directly at the
kit, even though her ears were trembling, and she pressed
back her nerves to the best of the little ginger-striped molly's
ability. She wasn't good at it, but who cares?
