Wormburrow bristled at the lack of care in Spiderclaw's voice and their tail startedto lash as they dug their claws into the soil floor of the clearing. In a growling tone, Wormburrow spoke, "What's this about ignoring my apprentice? You could've answered at least."

The scruffy tom glared harder as they lifted a paw to emphasize her words, "I don't care if it was gonna be a no, but don't just leave her hanging, alright? Not very becoming of a deputy." Wormburrow tacked on the last sentence with a sick grin, hoping to make Spiderclaw care at least a bit about the situation.

It would do him well not to treat his clan mates' concerns with nonchalance. Wormburrow huffed and shuffled their paws under them, sheathing and unsheathing their claws and tearing up the floor beneath them.

spider claw frowned "AS deputy im busy and i was setting out a patrol." he told her "he flicked his ear "If your apprentice gave me time i could have responded to them but seeing as they are a newly made apprentice
who is impatient and you a young warrior i would suggest training them before going on any patrols." he told the molly he closed his blue eyes "Now if we are settled i would like to go on my patrol." he said standing with his long legs and lean poster

Wormburrow huffed at the short reply with a roll of their eyes before turning and walking back to his prey where his apprentice still was and he nodded to her,
“What a pain in the tail.”

Swiftly finishing off the prey he started for breakfast, the warrior turned to Sphinxpaw with a toothy smile, “Change of plans, we are going on a hunting trip. And! We are going to bring back more prey than that stuck up spider could even dream of. How’s that sound?”

Spidertwing yawned as she shook her pelt, getting some of the old collected herbs off of her pelt. I hope im not to late or no one is required to need me because i'm a hell a lot tired. She thought to herself as she looked around spotting the deputy and another warrior arguing she shrugged her shoulders and thought to herself maybe after the deputy sends out patrols she will send out a herb patrol for some to come with her. Hopefully Roachstar can place her mind into her clan because she needed to meet with Starclan soon because she hasn’t heard in them from moons it was the gathering of the medicine cats tonight where she was going to meet some of the other clans medics maybe Floatdrop would be their because she needed to talk to that she-cat. “Bugclan enough arguing with eachother” she said into no one as she looked around at the clan buzzing around. She sat down as she groomed her pelt she was running low on herbs and now with it being leaf-bare it would be hard to get more and see didn't need anyone with green cough.

Spiderclaw looked back at his clanmates and stood up with the sun just above the canopy he looked up at the bright sun that brought warmth to the land he knew leaf-bare would come to an end soon. "okay follow me we'll head to hawkclans boarder." he said walking out of the entrance on to the dirt path walked by many cats before him he took a deep breath and walked north where hawk clan lived. he walked through the flower bush that was one of the landmarks that the clan used to see where they were. "Half way there." he said looking at the cats behind him

He walked out of his den after hearing the bickering. She trotted over to the small group, noticing the fight had broken up and Spidertwig huffing at them. He slowly walked over to his med cat and dipped his head in respect. "Cat's bickering? And my deputy bickering... what about?" she asked her med cat gruffly, her voice cold but smooth. His tail slowly swayed side to side as he waited for Spidertwig's response. She brought a hand up to brush some fur from her face and scratch her muzzle her eyes closing just slightly. His eyes glanced around his camp, his camp. This was her clan, she protected everyone in it, which means if one died, it was her fault. So he watched everything carefully. "Are you running low on supplies?" Roach inquired, "if you are and need a patrol, take out Angelpaw and Horsepaw, they both seemed to have taken an interest in herbs," She mewed, her eyes lingering on the med cat for a split longer before looking away. The clan seemed to still be sleeping, which would soon stop as soon as the apprentices woke up. Minus Sphinxpaw, who seemed to get up every morning before anyone else repeatedly. Starclan knows what she does in the mornings, probably making trouble. And the kits, who could forget them? they would wake up and bug the others to take them out so they could have fun. A little bit of a funny soft spot for them, Roachstar had. Finally, he returned his attention to the med cat.

Spinxpaw nodded, smiling at her mentor. "That sounds like a plan!" she purred, her fur fluffing up and her ears flicking up. Her tail went up slightly, then back and forth excitedly. She thought about her pouncing. Worm could maybe teach her how to dig tunnels like he did too. She could use those. Her mind wandered about the things she could do with the different skills of each cat. That would be catastrophic. Little Sphinxpaw, making trouble with all her powers. She giggled at the thought, silently while Wormburrow wasn't paying attention. She had already eaten her share of fresh kill, so she just waited for Worm to finish his and get going. Although a troublemaker, she was outgoing. "Maybe we could catch a big mouse! Or a duck," she meowed, thinking about it made her purr slightly and feel warmth, although it was cold. The pond was freezing as well, so maybe a duck wouldn't be a realistic goal. But a goal nonetheless. What she wanted to kill was a muskrat, the nasty things. Although, they were known to be strong. Very strong. Her hunting skills were strong, she figured, since she got up every morning at dawn just to practice. She could get a plump rat, or a rabbit at least. She slowly started to feel dizzy before looking up at her mentor with a smile. "Lets go before Spiderclaw does!" she said sprinting away and then waiting for Wormburrow to catch up.

Spidertwing nodded her head as Roachstar started speaking towards her. "They are just pickering about some stupid stuff they better shut their stupid mousebrains up!" she laughed looking towards Roachstar as the leader meowed so more. "Im running a bit low on some supplies I guess I could take some apprentices with me maybe when I'm older and appoint a apprentice I could keep an eye on them" she purred as Roachstar's eyes lingered on her her pelt fluffed up with embarrassment. "Have you gotten any recent signs from Starclan?" before the leader could answer she purred. "Maybe on the half-moon I'll take one of them to the meeting"

He cracked a small smile from what Spidertwig said about them being mouse brains before going back to his cold demeanour. He listened to the med cat carefully. "no, no signs from Starclan," she mumbled to her. Then he nodded again when he heard about the apprenticeship. "That reminds me that I need to do a meeting, new apprentices are made and need mentors," she mewed gruffly, "tell me if you do take them to a tree meeting." he mewed smoothly. His fur smoothed and his ears and face calmed. He should probably take on an apprentice. Even if it's a cat interested in herbs, they still need to learn how to protect themselves. She rubbed her paw on the grass waiting. "We can do patrols for herbs before the clan meeting if you want," he mewed, "The apprentices need to get up." he purred at the last second. They should get up, it was just slightly over morning, and perhaps they were awake, but just stayed quiet so they could go about playing like kits still. The thought of that made his heart ache, just slightly. The innocents in some of the apprentices, only to have it ruined by the death of war. Finally, she nodded to her med cat and walked along, maybe they would talk later.
