"A stealth mission, I see," he pondered this new information for a moment, carefully scanning the area that Wormborrow had pointed out to them, "I'll get to practice my stalking skills too!"The boisterous young tom dropped into his best hunter's crouch, though is long front legs made him look like a chicken with odd feathering since his bladed elbows poked out.
"No need to worry about Roachstar or Spiderclaw throwing a fit, I think, cuz they'll understand the importance of my mission. Lepi!" Mantiskit shot up from his crouch, "Let's show this fine warrior what we can do!"As he prepared for the mission, scenes of him and Lepi sneaking through the forest on a secret mission to save Roachstar from and evil Spiderclaw. "YEAH STEALTH!!!" He yowled.

Lepi frowned at Mantis. Roachstar has an apprentice, he knew because he had seen the apprentice. She wasn’t sure if he needed another. Lepi laid right next to Mantis. “That doesn’t seem smart,” she said under her breath, though not loud enough for Mantis to hear. But if Lepi needed, hop would get involved. He put his tail around Mantis out of habit. “Be careful if you do,” they whispered to Mantis, their chin of their paws. Although they had only known each other for a bit hop would walk through fire for the other kit. Lepi watched the funny looking warrior walk away smiling to themselves, as if they had done something good. He sighed and finally relaxed their body loosening and their ears relaxed.

Mantiskit wriggled his bum as he settled clumsily next to Lepi, staring intently at Wormborrow as the warrior padded away. His eyes were wide and fixed, waiting for the signal. Then, suddenly, for once in his life, he was completely still, as if in a trance. His shoulders tensed up as if he was ready to lash out with his forepaws at a moment's notice. With his dim, neutral coloration, it would be easy to miss the fact that Mantiskit was there at all.

((Since mantis bugs stay really still and then lash out at prey, I wanted to use this to kinda juxtapose Mantis's personality, since the opportunity presented itself.))

Spidertwing looked up at her leader as she narrowed her eyes and nodded towards her seeing something shift in her leader she spoke up. "Roachstar dear are you alright want me to come up there?" she narrowed her eyes as she looked around seeing many hopeful eyes see hated to hurt anyone but hopefully Starclans sign will come soon.

Roachstar finally noticing all the cats gathered listed them off once more before getting to the point of the meeting. "We have one kit to make and apprentice... and multiple apprentices needing mentors," she said calmly to the cats beneath her. The breeze didn't affect his fur much, but still did make it annoying. And, with that, she tried to sit as still as she possibly could, like the leaders who came before her. Isn't it silly to think all kits and apprentices wanted to be a leader or a deputy? thinking this was fun seemed foolish but to a kit, it seemed like glory. She remembered thinking that, that leader would have the most glory throughout the clan. Now to think he was here, a leader, sitting in front of a clan... the horror. She looked back down at her clan, scanning the area of the kit she needed to make an apprentice. He chuckled as he saw him still as a bug hiding behind some still leafy bushes with another kit. "Mantiskit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mantispaw. Your mentor will be Ladywitch," he mewed, "I hope Ladywitch will pass down all they know to you." he finished. He didn't bother saying the other part, seeming, the other cat had shown exceptional skills, with an unknown mentor before them. "Horsepaw, it is your turn to get a mentor," she started again, with so many words to say, "and Angelpaw, yours as well." He took a deep breath, prepared to start again. "Waterstrider, you shall take Horsepaw on as an apprentice, I expect you to teach them well. TranatulaHawk, you shall take Angelpaw on as your apprentice, I expect you to teach them well," she finishes, waiting for the cats to come together. When they did he nodded and thought of what else needed to be done. Ah, med cat apprentice. "And those cats who wish to be med cat apprentices, please visit Spidertwig in the med den, she will explain everything," he said calmly, then onto patrols. He never remembered other leaders having to do this much. dear starclan, putting her to so much work. "And lastly, let me send out patrols. Spiderclaw, beepaw, and hornetpaw, with me. We are going hunting. The rest can take their apprentices to training or stay put," he said, a little snippy and cold at the end before hopping down from the Spider Tree and waiting for the two apprentices to catch up to him and his deputy. It's feet hit the snow, making it's paws freeze for a second before warming again. "We can split up or stay together, Spiderclaw, while the two apprentices talk please come tell me what you wanted to earlier," she said, trotting away to behind a tree while the apprentices decided whether or not. He would have their necks if they decided to come eavesdrop, and he knew those two were troublemakers. But she said that with every cat, didn't she? Finally, when Spiderclaw came over he sat down and listened.

Wormburrow smiled as Roachstar began to finish up her speech and quickly sent a glance to Mantispaw, flicking his tail towards the deputy just in case the apprentice wanted to attempt the stealth mission still. The warrior called out Mantispaw's new name as congratulations.

With the meeting done, Wormburrow stood and moved to the edge of the clearing, waiting to see if Mantispaw would take part in the mission or not. Wormburrow wouldn't blame them for dropping the idea now that they were an apprentice, much more to lose, stakes are higher now....but at the same time, if the -paw doesn't annoy Spiderclaw for him, Wormburrow would just have to pick up the slack.

The warrior watched and waited, tail twitching with excitement that the rest of his body didn't protray. Ah, she should teach Sphinxpaw the art of a blank face, quite useful for more tense situations. Especially with unknown cats, which Bugclan may need to face soon given the rats that have been trying to clam his tunnels. Running them, stealing his prey, breaking some of the tunnels, changing layouts. Ugh-

Well now, Wormburrow was upset. The warrior should speak to Roachstar about it, it could pose a danger now. At first the feline thought that it was one or two curious cats but no, there were enough to count as a group. Smaller than Bugclan, but dangerous if they could utilize the tunnels properly. For now though, watching Spiderclaw get scared.
