Just watching him? Branchkit wanted to watch... Mousekit?? Mousekit smiled in a sort of sheepish, almost proud way. "Ahaha, I see," He meowed while most definitely not seeing. "Well. It's not much fun in the nursery anymore, so I was just entertaining myself... you know, pouncing on a mossball and what not. For when I'm an apprentice." Mousekit looked back up at Branchkit and gestured to himself, inviting him to come over in what he hoped what a cool way. "Unfortunately, I can't practice on any real moving targets, unless the wind is blowing the leaves around. ...If you want, you could train with me, right?" That was probably a good idea, ignoring the fact that Mousekit was quite small for a kit his age, and Branchkit was the opposite. As long as Mousekit didn't let Branchkit pounce on and squish him, he'd be fine.
He gazed at Mousekit, and the sheepish smile on his face. Was he more accepted now? They may become friends! A small grin slowly itched onto his muzzle as well, and it was genuine. "How old are you?" He asked Mousekit, tilting his head as he thought to himself. It was not that long before his apprentice ceremony already, as time had flown past rather quickly - too quickly for his liking, perhaps. Listening to Mousekit, he replied with more enthusiasm, "That works." He likes to move, rather than stay still all the time. Plus, training sounds fun! "What're we gonna train?" Branchkit thought Mousekit was doing some hunting training at first, but maybe not. He did move his way towards Mousekit more and he was smiling wider now. His first friend! At least he thought so.

Riverwhisper blinked open his eyes, seeing Swanberry curled against him, her gaze on the horizon. "Hey," he said, in a quiet voice, as not to startle her. He let her tail gently brush his cheek as he purred softly. She seemed like she was comforting him, but he wasn't sure. He pressed himself a little closer, gently washing her fur. He felt very... well, he didn't know how to describe it, but when she smiled at him, or looked at him, his heart fluttered a little. And all he wanted to do right now was stay here, with her, and just be close. But he knew, deep down, he couldn't do that. He got up slowly, stretching. "Do you want to... maybe come with me to Haven Springs? I heard it's really pretty around now, with the sunset..." He trailed off, unsure of what to say next.

The she-cat stared sightlessly at the horizon, watching as the sun slowly dipped out of the sky and away from prying eyes.
Riverwhisper's words would've bubbled right past her if she hadn't felt him nudging a bit closer to her. She snapped out of her daze almost immediately, looking down at him to offer a sleepy smile. "Haven Springs?" She echoed. "Oh, sure. What, you wanna be my tour guide?"
She teased, blinked the tiredness out of her eyes before lifting herself up into a sit. "I've actually never been there before. I wouldn't mind going, if they're as beautiful as you say they are. And even if they aren't, it'll be a fun outing, right?"

Wrenpaw yawns hugely in the middle of the clearing as she settles down to sunbathe. There's probably something productive she could be doing right now like tending to the elders (yuck) or asking her mentor or another warrior to take her out for some training, but, honestly? The only thing the apprentice wants to do is laze around while the weather is warming up and really soak all the warmth she can into her pelt. Really, could any cat blame her? There had just been a battle, for StarClan's sake! And she hadn't even been able to help because she'd never gotten any lousy battle training yet. So, yes, Wrenpaw was going to stretch out in a sun beam since clearly she wasn't worth the effort to train. Honestly, she shouldn't have to ask to be trained, that's not her job. Her job is simply to learn, going out of her way to force others who aren't her mentor to teach her is stupid and annoying. She could do it all herself, she's certain of it.

Seabreeze watched silently as the other tom made his way over to Seabreeze's side. The sandy blue-grey tom was happy that the other wanted to join him, otherwise the crummy thoughts that were clogging up Seabreeze's brain would be likely to start spiraling out of control and into worse and worse things. The Riverclan warrior shook out his pelt, as if shaking out the clinging badness before turning to Frostmelt with a barely-there smile,
"I am happy that you are joining me...I just-" Seabreeze looked around the camp, then winced and turned to point his muzzle stubbornly towards the camp exit, "I just need to get away for a bit."" He ended his mew in a whisper.
Seabreeze had been working nonstop since the end of the raid, carrying out bodies of Thunderclanners, and getting their fallen clan mates in a place where they can be readied for the mourning vigil and then burial. It was necessary work, nobody deserved to see their family like that. It reminded him of Cloverpaw but he shook again to stop from tumbling down that rabbit hole.
Everything as of late has reminded him of Cloverpaw, she was haunting him. He blinked his blue eyes for a moment, attempting to sway his tail but all it did was wag from its remaining 1/4 of the limb. It started to ache, as though his thinking of it reminded the awful stub that it needed to be as inconvenient as possible.
"It's...ummm....been awhile since we've spoken really. I," Seabreeze stopped a moment and slowed his walking just as they exited the camp, trying to think how to phrase and sum up everything that happened, "It's been kind of rough for me these past few moons. But what about you?"

"Not as rough as you, I'm guessing," he murmured, he didn't have much trauma, at least none he remembered, not like Sea's. He couldn't even imagine what Sea had gone through. And just to think, Frost thought he was smart, he had no one at the start, so he lost no one. So couldn't Sea do the same? No, Sea needed someone now, right?... Oh dear, what had Frost tried to get himself into? No other interaction with other cats lead him to be socially incapable of helping another-- and himself. So he didn't know whether or not Sea needed someone, or needed to go independent, or what he should say in this situation. Change the topic, is the first thing that came to mind. "Ah... it's warming up," he mewed, almost too quickly, "better than the cold." he said, trying to sound cheery, he painted a large smile on his face that started to hurt his cheeks.
Frost sighs, he can't keep up that act. It was true, the air was damp with sadness and it was weighing almost everyone down but the kits who had no idea what had happened. His feet slowly touched the ground, feeling heavier with every step. Did he wanna go walking? What was going on? His breathing seemed to quicken and he felt dizzy. Finally, he focused on the bits of dirt, voices... ah, Sea was talking to him... With his focus being back he looked at Sea as he talked, trying to take in the words, nodding as if he knew what Sea was saying.
His tail slowly moved back and forth, swaying. "Well... Ah.." he couldn't think of what to say, was the silence better? And he already wasted the weather conversation, dang. What about the surroundings, he thought, was it a good time to say how pretty it is? or was that considered romantic? Oh, this was awkward. Sea would say something, he was sure of it. "I'm sorry, I'm terrible at comforting," he mutters, his ears going down slightly. He should feel sad though, was this him feeling it? Well, it couldn't be anyone else, he thought.

Seabreeze gave the other tom a sad smile and was quick to comfort the other, guilty that he brought on such distressed for Frostmelt, "No worries, no need for comfort. Let's just have a nice walk, unless you don't want to?" The sandy blue-grey tom continued to walk through the camp but slowed down so that the other warriors would have more time to ponder. Seabreeze wouldn't mind Frostmelt declining, for one, everyone has been busy and a break from being on his paws would probably serve the other cat well, and two, Seabreeze didn't want to force the cat to accompany him. Maybe they could go by the river. Like Frostmelt said, things were getting a bit warmer as the new leaf started to show more of its colors after the unforgiving leafbare.
The river is probably still too frozen to go swimming , regardless if the ice is physible melted or not. The cold water would sink into this fur and freeze him in likely only a few seconds. Not worth it. Seabreeze turned to Frostmelt, he realized that despite growing up together and being apprentices at the same time, he knew nothing about the other cat other than what happened at the burial. Seabreeze winced inwardly at the reminder but pushed on. He should ask for more patrols. The tom wondered what Frostmelt has been getting up to since everything that happened. Ah...great, this was turning horrendously awkward. Seabreeze remained silent, hoping that Frostmelt had a topic of discussion they could turn to if the other warrior chose to continue on this walk.

"Oh! no no, no, I do want to have a walk! I promise you, I'm just not sure what to say," Frost admitted, his heart pounded, he wasn't used to talking this much and he was sure it was tiring him out and making his legs go numb. But he didn't want to stop walking, and he could see the hurt in Sea's eyes, that was the only thing to could tell, because that aching feeling, though not the same intensity as Seas, he felt too. He tried to pick up his paws so Sea would keep going, pushing away the pain he kept onward.
"Well, uh, how've you been... since..." he didn't finish the last part and hopefully, it implied that he was asking. Since.. he couldn't even think it, he tried so hard to put it out of his mind, out of his memory. What had happened that day anyway?... his memory was a blur when it shouldn't've been. And why had he asked him that? Stupid him, of course Sea wasn't going to be alright after all of that! Then to keep living on like that, then go through a war between the two clans? How did he do it when he carried out the bodies, how did he even look at them? Each warrior and apprentice was bloodied, lying in an awkward heap on the ground.
He watched Sea's face as if each time he brought it up it sent flashes of images, memories. "Uh, do you want to go hunting? Might as well while we are out here," he mewed quickly, changing the subject, hoping to take Sea's attention away from his stupid question. Did Sea like to hunt though? "Or we could do, other things? And I mean, like, things you want to do," he said, the words seemed to ramble on, and on, getting quicker by the second. Or maybe Sea didn't want to do anything. Oh, nothing he said seemed to come out right. They seemed perfectly fine to say in his head, but when they came out they came out jumbled, in a heap that was likely burned on the way out of his mouth, then set fire to whatever problems were already there.

...yeah, no, this was boring. With a groan of annoyance, Wrenpaw sits up from where she had been sunbathing, frustration prickling her grey pelt because she was trying to have a nice afternoon where she just relaxed but, apparently, that wasn't working. A shame, really. Well, if she wasn't able to lounge around, she could at least socialize a bit. With a yawn and a stretch, Wrenpaw begins looking for some cats to harass- ahem, to talk to.
Not far from camp's entrance, she spots Fallenwish and Springburst, the Lionheart and warrior didn't exactly look like they were talking to each other, but they were at least close enough that it wouldn't be strange to address both of them at the same time. Besides, she had some questions and maybe she could get the warriors to spill.
"Yo," Wrenpaw starts, voice cool and calm, expression blank, "I've got some questions that maybe you two can answer." She betrays nothing of her frustration on her face, but the tip of her tail twitches up and down restlessly.
She may be sitting next to someone else but she sure wasn't up to talking to them at the moment. The newly made warrior had just chosen to sit here for the moment, with no intentions of starting a conversation. Today she was choosing to relax and think of anything she could do which might include going out of camp. Eyes closed as she sat in what she hoped would be silence letting her fur soak in the sun before she heard someone approaching her and the other next to her. Springburst gave a flick of her one good ear before she opened her eyes, her good eye turning to look towards the young apprentice. "What kind of questions do you got?" she wondered what the other seemed so bothered by if she went by their body language.
hailstorm he sat in the clearing enjoying clan life looking about the bright sunny day in river-clan with a murky smell in his nose of the river he let out a sigh
