Yaaaayyy! He was an apprentice! The brown tabby wiggled his body excitedly. He was Wolfpaw now! He searched the crowd for mama Antfluff, his green gaze beaming with pride. So he had a mentor, a boss of him now. Fuzzclaw or something, yeah, he didn't care. All he cared was proving he was better than his siblings. The eldest kit of the litter flashed a smug face to his littermates before trotting off in search of his mentor.

Yeah, a cat, a cat named Foxtail! the other side retorted. Berry stared nervously at Fox. 'Y-yeah, tomorrow, then?'

Good, both of them were here. If one or neither of them had bothered to show, Bumblestar would have been pretty pissed about it. Sprucepaw was looking as if Mudhound had spent some serious time getting ready, she noted as she looked him over.

"Sprucepaw, Daylightpaw. Both of you have trained hard, dedicated yourself to ThunderClan through your apprenticeship, 'n now I ask you to do it over again as warriors. Do you promise, both of you, to serve 'n devote yourself wholly to ThunderClan, your Clanmates, 'n your home?"

Fudge blinked his blank gaze as Angry finished speaking, some confusion ringing about his mind. For some reason, the apprentice had assumed that there would be a more... elaborate production in this ceremony. The killing of a warrior, being beat up by the leader to prove you would rather lay down and take the head's abuse over thinking for yourself or defending yourself, hell, maybe even a word by word admission of fealty that you would die before allowing any harm to come to the leader. Something - anything, really - that seemed more like a power play by the tiny fury. A display on how now that your training was done, you belonged to her. Instead... it was an... admittedly simple promise to make. It really all boiled down to don't go squealing to other clans and don't be a moocher, just in... much less base words.

The... rationality of it had admittedly caught the former kittypet off guard. No swearing to the stars, no making odd blood oaths, just a pragmatic promise considering the mass amount of cats grouped up together in this clan. He found that he could handle that. It would be no different than how he'd been living since he had arrived to this strange place. He wasn't one to go talking about, anyways. He didn't feel like socializing with the cats that lived around him, there was absolutely no chance in hell he would turn to the cats that wanted to kill his face just for living in a slightly more forested area of the clans. As for mooching... if he didn't hunt, he was afraid he would go mad with boredom. There was little chance of that happening as well. Yes... he could absolutely live with these stipulations without a problem.

Oh starclan they were gonna cry! Look at their little man!
Yeah Mudhound was proper bawling with joy as the tom expressed his own quiet brand of happiness at being the tripods apprentice and was soon called up to make the transition to proper warrior. He'd just done so so well, excelling in hunting and climbing and though he didnt quite shine at fighting he was better then he knew and so was approaching warriorhood at an age younger then most cats.

Mudhound didnt worry though, they'd always be there to protect him when needed no matter his age and he was fully capable even without that.

The hornet was crying with the biggest proudest grin ever as they vibrated in place, barely able to force themself quiet to not start hollering even prior to the havana getting his name. But they did, somehow, tail downright beating up the den wall then were sitting against with the sheer force of their wagging even as the muscles in that limb started to twinge with the strain of doing so.

Oooooh their little man better have the best of names or Mudhound would just have to give him a super cool one himself!

The tom gave a soft chuckle. Well... he seemed a little confused, but it was nothing they couldn't work on overtime. Flicking the tip of his tail again, Glimmermask looked back at the young cat.

"Follow me," he lipped, a gentle smile spreading onto his muzzle. He would be willing to give it time. Whitepaw was practically still a kit, after all, and Glimmermask could only imagine how confusing it would be to live in a world with no sound.

Whitepaw thought that perhaps the cat wanted to be followed. So Whitepaw took a hesitant step forwad, towards the cat.
