Bleedingkit
Shadowclan Kit | He/Him | 2 Moons | Just a Scratch
Bleedingkit still didnt know how to approach his 'siblings'.
It kind of wasnt his fault, Lostspark had only introduced him to a couple so he didnt quite know which ones were which and with that he felt kind of awkward around the group.... He knew he was an interloper, a weird blond changeling in their nest placed their by someone else, and while his new mama loved him it was no promise they would. His blood siblings hadnt after all. And given how.... volatile they'd seemed (especially that Heronpaw) he was kinda too scared to approach many.
But Sleepypaw seemed ok!
She'd obviously cared for Mama and though her face was often blank it was a good blank the kitten was pretty sure! And she was sooooooo cool and had Miss Tiger as a mentor!
So with the desire to build a bond and maybe get a jump on training he knew he'd struggle with due to his disability one day seeing her in the clearing finishing up with a meal he'd wobbled right up with hope in his heart! It was clumsy and he fell once but his sunny smile remained as he eventually reached her paws and declared "Heya Sleepypaw! Im Bleedingkit, remember me? Uuuuummmm I wanted to ask, since Miss Tiger is your teacher thingie you must be super smart and skilled like Mama and Miss Tiger is so can you teach me something? Like special apprentice stuff? Please it'd be super-duper cool and-and I'd....." What could a kitten do for a super cool and smart apprentice anyways? Uuuhhhhhh oh! "I could clean your nest for you and make it super soft!"
Yes! That was something he could do and he could even pluck the feathers off of the birds in the fresh kill pile to help! Wide blue eyes borderline sparked up at the apprentice as he happily wiggle-wobbled in place waiting for a response, ever hopeful.

Mistlewhisker eventually tuned out whatever Silverlark was saying, the older Enforcer having learned the art of pretending to listen long ago. In the end, any annoyance felt light hearted. Silverlark was an incredibly passionate and impressive warrior, especially having become an Enforcer so young. Sometimes Mistlewhisker really forgot how young Silverlark was. Barely older than apprentice age, yet having done so much for the clan. It didn't help that he kept mentioning how old she was.
She wasn't entirely sure why young cats flocked to her--she hardly had a maternal personality--but if she could teach the new generation of ShadowClan to be better than this one... then maybe things would look alright in the future.
As Silverlark prattled on, Mistlewhisker found herself growing more amused by the second. Eventually once there was a lull in Silverlark's words, Mistlewhisker cut in with a question of her own. She turned to look at Silverlark, her half-white muzzle tilted in a little smirk. "'so much older'? How old do you think I am?"
Silkkit's watery eyes shone as he crept closer to take a sniff of the offered squirrel. Not wanting to seem like a heathen, his first bite was a gentle nibble on the closest limb. It took a few seconds to truly feel like he wasn't intruding, and allowed himself to scoot closer before plopping his furry but on the ground, taking another small bite.
He then looked up at the Enforcer, nodding. "Okay... You're friends with Mothy, aren't you?"
He couldn't remember if he'd ever seen Glowingpaw speak to him.
Honestly, that Mothkit saw him as safe was enough for him.
He tries to subtly huddle closer to the warrior, tucking his paws under him so he could loaf. When he's satisfied with where his paws are tucked, he looks back up to the tabby. "Also.... Hi Hawkbite."
Silkkit scrunched his nose to rid himself of an itch before continuing. "'M Silkkit, but if you're friends with my sister, you probably know that."
Was this how socializing worked? It was awkward when the other person knew you better than you knew them.
Hawkbite watched quietly as Silkkit got comfortable with him and even started to eat the prey he offered. That was a good sign. He was headed in the right direction with the young feline! Mothkit was easy to befriend, but he wasn't too sure about this one and he hadn't seen Glowingpaw around in a while. Honestly, he hadn't even seen Vulturefang since he stepped down. Perhaps that fleabag ran off? Whatever. His loss.
"I'm best friends with your mother. I learned about you before you were even born," Hawkbite teased lightly, bringing his tongue over his whiskers to clean them. "And Mothkit is more interested in stories I have to tell than chatting about you or her friends," he chuckled lightly. He loved the little feline. Although, she was another face he was seeing less and less of. He hoped she was okay.
"You look. . . just like your mom," he would muse softly, his green gaze softening a bit as he studied the young cat. "I'm excited to see how you do as an apprentice. I'm sure that ceremony is coming up, isn't it?"
Bloomingblaze stepped into the clearing, quite unsure of what she would be doing today, as she had woken up not long ago. She watched as other cats moved through the clearing, and she sat and thought.

TickKit jumped slightly at the nudge, indulged in the meeting. Blinking as he moved his attention away from DawnStar and to RoseKit he felt a stab of envy as well as admiration that RoseKit was already working ahead with techniques and other apprentice level things. ‘Well! Er- there was a noisy kit who threw a fit because their ceremony wasn’t done, but that’s because they weren’t present for it! And there was two new warriors and a bunch of apprentices having their ceremony!’ TickKit assumed his explanation was thorough enough, he had only really paid attention to those parts! Oh! He forgot something! ‘Oh and DawnStar was really mad lookin’ at the start! There is probably gonna be a lot of shouting this meeting.’ TickKit let out a slight sigh at the mention of it, he really didn’t fancy anymore hissy fits in his ears! The ceremonies were loud enough.’Can you teach me what you were learning later! Pleaseee?’ TickKit knew that he was meant to speak all formal but what was the use if Mother wasn’t around to hear him speak like this! Those thoughts would definitely be scolded if he said them out loud.. maybe he should start speaking formally again.’ I want to know battle stuff too!’

Rosekit's brow furrows at the mention of another obnoxious kit, did their mother not bother to teach them any manners? Well, nevertheless, Dawnstar probably it a lesson. The pretty she-kit perks her ears as her brother mentions her teaching him what she'd been learning, she can do that!
"Oh yeah, I'll teach you for sure Tickkit," She smiles at him, he's always so eager to learn, "Wanna get started?"
Batstorm stretched in the clearing. There was a slight breeze in the clearing, causing his black fur to be rustled. The muscular tom glanced around the clearing for anything to do.
