Thrushkit's mouth fell open. This warrior was so much bigger than him. Oh what would he do if he flopped down on him by accident! He wanted to be strong like this cat.
"H...How do you do... do that...?"
He said in a shaky, timid voice. His legs shook as he kept examining the warriors strength.
He Smiled. The Flop? It's My Signature Move When Fighting, Or Sparring. You Rear Onto You're Hind Legs, Then Lift You're Front Ones. He Did What He Was Explaining. And Drop Down! It Traps You're Opponent And Knocks The Wind Out Of Them! He Sat Back Down.

Thrushkit did as the warrior said and showed. He reared up and slammed down onto the ground. Instead of a thump, he squeaked and you could hear a small sound indicating he'd hit the ground.

''The only withdrawal to Lionflop's move is that you expose your belly to your opponent the entire move's duration.''
A warrior's soft, silky voice - a she-cat, by the sound of it - was approaching the two cats, her plumed, curled feathery tail waving gracefully in the air. Copper eyes glanced from Lionflop to Thrushkit and back again. ''It may sound all that great, but it really isn't worth it,'' Squirrelwhisker murmured, sitting back on her haunches once she reached her Clanmates. ''Not unless you want your attacker to kill you in an instant.''
Squirrelwhisker knew a lot about battle training, especially since one of her lessons as an apprentice was advanced land combat training, a lesson that her mentor had picked out. ''A flop is just getting yourself killed, Lionflop,'' The thick-furred Molly mewed, shaking her head. ''And I don't want to see my Clanmates get killed.''
He took the warrior's paw and he beamed up at him. Thrushkit would be feared? This made him puff out his chest, with its scruffy, unkempt fur. He didn't realize he was holding his breath. He gasped loudly, looking wildly embarrassed.

Thrushkit raised a brow to the warrior. He didn't know her name.
"who... wh..who are you?"
he squeaked, sounding like a pesky, annoyed mosquito. He bounded over to the she-cat. He'd hardly listened to what she had said. He hardly even knew what the concept of battling was-except that he wanted to win if he participated.
Honeyspot padded into the clearing and takes a seat in a nice sunny spot. She loafed, letting the sun warm rays, heating up her back, making her feel comfy.

[ she/they | shadowclan | 15moons ]
a dark blueish grey and white she cat with silver eyes
minkpaw eyed the other cats in camp, mostly hidden from sight, at least from the center of camp where the sun was shining down on unfamiliar pelts. her eye had caught on two cats sparring, now freshly joined by a third cat and seemingly arguing about something. only less than a moon left until she would be free to be a normal apprentice too.. she should ask lostspark any way..but what if it was too early for her to approach her mentor and ask to be assessed, or trained, whatever..what if this would just cement her as a spy in lostsparks mind?
the grey apprentice lifted herself into white tipped paws, aiming to move to a less shady spot when she bumped into another cat. "oh! sorry i wasnt paying attention" she mumbled. gaze shifting to the cat she had just bumped into, a warrior, long dark -almost black- fur, green eyes and smoky grey markings, but especially eye catching was the unusual shaped eye-adjacent marking on their forehead. the thought that their fur had similar colours, or more so contrasts flashed in her mind briefly, before she returned to mentally bracing herself for the cat to lash out at her.
